genuinely really surprised that more people don’t ship mary and annie after this season (especially episode 2 obviously). these two scenes in particular, i was genuinely going “lesbians?? 👀🤪 ….wait seriously oh my god wait LESBIANS?!?!!” i read these moments as very queer-coded as opposed to the friendship we’re told they had, and the actress playing annie really sold it by doing those (not) subtle little looks down at mary’s mouth, touching her arm for reassurance, etc. i just think they really work, on so many levels, and i want to see more art and general content about them because they’re perfect
So the Six Idiots were originally going to have a “ghost on the next door property” character called Pete. In season 4 they included this concept with a character called Maddocks.
In Yonderland Debbie’s husband was called Pete Maddox.
watching the new season I was literally thinking,, goddamn this is Such a good season for Mary, my beloved is blooming and blossoming and generally being wonderful, and then. and then. and then.
guys what if the series ends with all the ghosts moving on, and alison and mike decide to leave button house. as they’re walking out for the last time, alison looks up to the night sky. she points at a star.
marys really gone isnt she... it wasnt played for laughs, it wasnt a fake out and she didnt come back the next episode. who wouldve guessed that a comedy about ghosts in a country house turned bnb would give me so many feelings
I've found that most people who were dissapointed with the season are mostly so due to the Captain, whether its for his name or him coming out, and though it would be great for him to do it on screen it also isn't neccessary. It is a fact, its not a queerbait, just give him time.
