realized I entirely forgot to post this one!!
it took a lot longer than I thought it would (mostly because I took a couple-month-long break from working on it) but I finished it up last week! It abstractly represents most of the concepts, feelings, or imagery in the horror and the wild album. I’d be happy to describe my choices if anyone’s interested!

I think ‘this isn't a break-up, dear heart, it's a season finale’ is my favourite lyric ever

joey and madeleine don't even know that they summed up everything about how i define love when they said "all it took to unearth in the dust and the dirt, some release or respite from the heat and the hurt was taking the time, now and then, to ask how i am"

this makes me absolutely wild in the head
that unwanted animal:
farewell wanderlust:
and then battle cries:
the way that battle cries is a celebration of life, and everything that happens in it even if it didn’t turn out how you planned.
and radical acceptance of yourself and your journey.
and that even the things that seem hopeless or useless or bad are just more proof that you lived, that you’re alive, you know?
‘this isn’t a break up dear heart, it’s a season finale’
i promise i’m normal about this band

"Well, at least we can agree on Truth, Freedom, and Justice, yes?"
There was a chorus of nods. Everyone wanted those. They didn't cost anything.
