RATING LIVE-ACTION BATMEN COSTUMES FROM 0 TO 10 ON SCARINESS AND SILLYNESS
scariness as in would i cry and/or piss my pants if i came across him in a dark alleyway
sillyness as in heehee silly :-)
Adam West: come on. look at him. his suit is so thin, that's not protecting anything! the eyebrows drawn on in white pen are a nice touch, though. silly king!
Scary: 0
Silly: 10
Michael Keaton: he can't move his head!! at first glance he might be scary, but just stand behind him and he won't be able to see you... first one to mold angry eyebrows into the suit and everyone else after him just copied that.
Scary: 8
Silly: 4
Val Kilmer: why does he kinda look like someone just put a baby in the batsuit, and to not make it too obvious they put extreme fake abs on the suit. and nipples.
Scary: 6
Silly: 8
George Clooney: not much to say about him. he has a very triangular nose + he seems very.. smooth? pretty boring. and once again: nipples.
Scary: 5
Silly: 5
Christian Bale: the cutout around his mouth is very round, which makes it look kind of silly imo. sorry. it looks like someone threw a small pie at him.
Scary: 7
Silly: 6
Ben Affleck: he's pretty broad in stature which adds to the scariness, but I've said it before and I'll say it again: he reminds me of a chipmunk. nice try though.
Scary: 8
Silly: 7
Robert Pattinson: his head is a lot rounder than the others (I think it's because his ears are so thin) which makes him more approachable/pettable. his suit looks more mechanical (for lack of better word) which does help the scariness factor.
Scary: 6
Silly: 4

so bc i don't wanna do anything productive am procrastinating every single one of responsibilities am a damn freak of a nerd i have spent the last 2.5 hours attempting to identify all of these damn batsuits
while i've seen a few posts/sources identifying some of the suits, i've yet to see anyone break down all of them and, again, bc i am actually insane obscenely obsessive i am taking it upon myself to identify every. single. one.
i think i've actually gotten almost all of them from my own research, but bc i don't wanna make any false claims i've decided to err on the side of caution and ask for help on the following unknown suits:
(all suits are numbered and circled for clarification but if there's any confusion pls feel free to ask me what i'm referring to~!)
again, i think i actually do know most of these, but i figured asking for confirmation wouldn't hurt ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
SO if you know any of these suits pls reply/reblog/dm me and lemme know~! a source would be fantastic, but even a lead on the media it's from (comic, show, film, etc) is greatly appreciated
i make no guarantees i will be 100% correct when i eventually make a post breaking down everything (nor do i guarantee that i'll even make the post at all if i forget to lol) but with enough validation help from y'all i may just be able to do this (•̀ᴗ•́)ง
pls and many thanks friends \o/

ORIGINAL DYNAMIC DUO
Been a few weeks since I posted my art. I took some time to work on my new art style (and it took me 5 attempts to make a Batman design I really liked)
These are my designs for Batman and Nightwing
Batman is inspired primarily by the Adam West Batman. I loved the simplicity and colors of that design, and thought what if I were to do a similar design but in a context that’s taken more seriously. I also enjoy a fabric, low armor Batsuit because it shows what an absolute unit Bruce Wayne is. He doesn’t have to rely on fancy tech and armor to be Batman. Give him a spandex suit and a kevlar cape and he’s still terrifying
Nightwing was a lot easier to nail down as I had a pretty clear vision for him going in. Again, low armor simple Nightwing design. Dick Grayson is an acrobat, he relies more on his agility more than his strength so he can’t have bulky armor padding restricting his movement. I gave Dick a utility belt similar to Batman, but this belt also doubles as a suspension harness to aid in some of his acrobatics
