What Dick is Like During Exam Week

Is it normal for two college kids to adopt a small child

• No

• But that’s besides the point

• You and Bruce are at the circus when it all happens that night and immediately decide to take Dick in

• Since you’re both over 18 it’s legal and that’s just what it was

• Dick has some abandonment issues I think we can all agree on this

• So when it’s time that the two of you are off at school, you’re either letting Dick tag along, or texting and calling him a lot so that he knows that you’re alright

• Exams are his least favorite thing about you two being in college

• You can’t communicate in any way with him for 2-3 hours at a time and he hates it

• There’s no telling what might happen during a math exam

• When you study, his either doing his own school work or sitting in your lap

• It makes him feel like a cool college kid when he’s doing work beside you and/or Bruce

• Even if that work is coloring in a justice league coloring book with his 120 pack of crayons with the sharpener

• His bed time schedule gets really thrown of during exam week since he’s not taking any naps or anything

• He’s always up late with you and Bruce after patrol since he wants to make sure that everything is going well

• Draws you pictures to keep you motivated

• When he thinks that you’re getting stressed he just piles into your lap and demands cuddles

• He sweetheart really

• If you and Bruce decide to head somewhere for a snack, you best believe that Dick is coming

• No privacy at all

• Dick is probably with you till you fall asleep in your’s a Bruce’s room so by the time you’re done studying for the night you just tuck him in between you two since you’re too tired to take him to his room

• It kind of frustrates him when there’s a really large word that he’s having trouble with

• You have to help him sound it out and then it’s not really quizzing is it

• When it’s finally exam day- bless this poor child

• He does not want you and Bruce to leave for so long where you can’t talk to him

• Of course he’s got Alfred but mom and dad #2 are leaving for an extended about of time with no contact

• You have to make a deal with him that you’ll FaceTime him with Bruce after every exam, text him before you take the first exam, and tell him that you’re coming home

• The four of you go out for pizza and ice cream after all of the exams are finished

• Rest for a week and then you, Bruce, and Dick head to Disney for a week to give Alfred a break
