Day Twenty Four- Christmas Engagement- Paige and Rudy
He’d been planning this for months, originally wanting to ask her while they looked at the northern lights; but when the time came he froze, too afraid to ask.
But watching how easily she fit in with his family; not to mention his mother absolutely adored her, gave him that final shove to ask.
Paige sat on the windowsill, watching the snow in awe, every time she saw it now she felt like a little kid, growing up in Vegas she’d never even seen snow before, now? She couldn’t get enough of it.
She turned and smiled, motioning for Rudy to come join her, she didn’t know why he’d been so nervous around her lately, that was usually her part to play.
Playing as love interests helped their relationship grow, with all the time they had together it was no wonder how they’d fallen in love so fast, she was certain he was the one, she wanted to be with him forever.
He bent down to her height and pecked her lips before grabbing her hand, “ walk with me?” He asked and she nodded, willing to follow him anywhere.
Once they got outside he turned to her, earning a bright smile from her- this was it, now or never.
He took a deep breath and got down on one knee; watching as she slowly put the dots together, a smile slowly creeping onto her lips.
" Paige Savanna Bailey.. I promise to always be yours, through thick and thin; we haven’t been together very long but I know you’re it for me.. will you marry me?” He asked and opened the ring box.
Paige grinned and nodded, “ yes..” she said quietly, earning her favorite smile as Rudy stood, sliding the engagement ring onto her finger before capturing her lips in a sweet and passionate kiss.
Her arms wrapped around his neck as they kissed; not caring about the cold or the snow, only each other.

an: i didnt watch the award show so i dont know what order things happened BUT i've seen some clips and tweets and i managed to pull this together. words in bold are english. pls enjoy

Day Twenty- Northern Lights- Paige and Rudy
This was what she'd been looking forward to the entire time, she’d always dreamed about seeing them, the northern lights.
Which is why Paige was now trudging through the snow with Rudy, shivering from the cold- god she’d never complain about the heat in Vegas ever again.
She watched as he laid a blanket down then patted for her to sit next to him, once she did he tucked her against his side while she laid her head on his shoulder.
The lights were even more beautiful in person, the way they lit up the hole sky has her eyes widening in awe, unable to look away.
Paige may have been focused on the lights but Rudy was focused on her, loving every little reaction she had, but his favorite? It was her smile, one he never really got to see often.
She turned and gazed up at him, the lights reflecting off of them was a sight she’d never forget, and god did he look good tonight.
He cupped her cheek, watching as her eyes fluttered shut once their lips connected, moving perfectly in sync as he pulled her closer to him.
Even though she was practically numb from the cold he always found a way to light that fire inside of her, always making her want more.
She shivered, curling closer to him as he kissed her head, watching as she looked at the lights once more.
