Oh, thank you, anon! I really do super appreciate it so much.💞 23 - How do they hug? Kiss? Tease? Flirt? Comfort? Ooh. They're both very tactile with one another a great deal of the time. (Kia's tactile to some degree with most people, though, whereas Cerberus is usually very much not so.) They hug a lot, and the intensity of that hug varies depending on the circumstances. Could be soft and casual, could be tight and enveloping. Kissing is also a circumstance-dependent thing on the whole how of things, but like hugging, they kiss regularly and often. Teasing and flirting, though, they differ here. Kia's more likely to do both, and by a fair margin. Cerberus tends to be more direct - if he intends seduction, he's rarely unclear about it. Whereas Kia will be flirtatious just...regularly, in day to day life, lol. Sometimes she's after a direct outcome, sometimes she just likes the fun of it. And they're both lovely when it comes to comfort. They look after each other beautifully, they really do. They genuinely care about each others' wellbeing, so there's no resentment there, either. Kia's caretaking features in most of my fics, at least a bit; one of these days I will feature Cerberus in that role, too.

I love smaller companions, who are very used to their larger or size-shifting companions, being abruptly reminded sometimes of just how large and powerful their friends/partners are.

If you hang around a giant enough [especially one that usually is about your size because they're a size-shifter], eventually you get comfortable with them. Casual. Sometimes you forget, in the midst of their kindness and gentle-ness towards you, that they can level whole buildings. Crush boulders with a single hand. Let loose a beastly roar that shakes your bones and makes even the earth tremble beneath you.

You forget that a lot when you're so used to them laughing with you, taking walks, enjoying nature, letting you ride their shoulder or in their pocket.

And then sometimes, when they go to pick you up under your arms, you're sharply reminded of just _how_ big they are compared to you. Those moments of clarity keep you humble. Keep you... excited, almost.

After all, life with a giant requires a healthy level of self-awareness and respect. But it makes that deep trust and the special treatment you get from them all the more special.

the babies, new to the sewers with their very first toys!!!

splints came across four off-brand carebear key chains in the a pile of trash as he was looking for a safer place to hide in new york, and well. four toys, four kids! the boys are like a couple weeks old so tiny keychain plushies are giant and perfect for them. they each kinda pick a favorite bear too which splints finds endlessly amusing.

(he actually kinda very loosely starts calling them names/nicknames based off the bears they chose lol. though around age four or so they all pick their own new names -- the new names of course being pulled from a book of renaissance artists. :) mikey was hyperfixating on the pages covering the sistine chapel, so he immediately called dibs on the name Michelangelo, and the others just kinda shrugged and went with it. (im working on that comic currently actually lol))

Been fighting with nails and teeth all my life to say Atsushi is the best one at cooking in sskk against everyone saying he can't cook for his life and what I find out. That Atsushi being able to cook is literally stated in the first 31 seconds of the anime
