Berdly just proceeds to spend ten hours speaking all of the video code of this playlist and absolutely no one knows what's going on with him.

Since you said that the eldritch magic stuff Kris got from Ralsei does that two-way translation thingy so Kris and the Beasts can understand each other, I wonder if Kris would accidentally get a bit of eldritch language in their speech without realising. Like when they get back, not only do they have bitchin' long hair and a baker's dozen eldrich beasts at their command, they're mixing their language and the eldritch language and every other word is incomprehensible and maybe the grammar's a little fucked up too but as far as they're aware they're speaking regular old English

That certainly seems like the sort of thing that could happen! Especially since a good chunk of Kris's conversations for a whole year would be happening with the beasts, their speech could just naturally pick up some uncanny or incomprehensible language quirks that they don't even notice are there until talking to another human.

So, out of curiosity, what would a Vessel look like in the EldritchRune universe? Would it be more human or more monstrous?

I've thought a bunch on this since it's been asked before, but honestly I haven't thought of anything interesting that I could do with the Vessel yet. But if something does come to mind...I'm sure it'll show up eventually!

Much like Grillby in Undertale canon, Ralsei can control how hot his flames are to other people, which is why he can burn an Addison down one moment and put his hand on Kris's shoulder without any problem the next.

Healing spells aren't a thing in Eldritchrune, so sadly no. :(

Yup, they've gotten pretty used to it! The more times it happens, the more used Kris gets to the whole situation. It's still really hard on them, but they've learned how to keep going quickly in spite of the effects of it.

Like the Queen scene. You manage to make her a lot more expressive than she is in canon. She is obviously still Queen, but also obviously an eldritch god. It's nice. Good adaptation.

Awww thanks very much, I'm glad that you enjoyed her appearance here! Although I'd say she is pretty expressive in canon, too...using her visor to spell out words instead of working with eyes was honestly a brilliant character design touch!

Since ER! Kris is 17 years old, how long will they be in the Dark World for? Will they be 18 years old by the time they finally return to the Light World?

They're in the Dark World for approximately a year, so they'd either be 18 by the time they got out, or pretty close to it. Most likely the former.

I mean, that's certainly possible? Although since LOTS of things in the Dark World here are after Kris's soul (or just a human soul in general) it'd be a matter of finding a way for that to stand out in a particularly creepy or unsettling manner.

And for the second question, I think that would depend a whole lot on how it worked as a boss, if it did happen. Definitely one of the toughest parts of any sort of story planning with this AU is trying to build off of what canon gives us so far, which is only two chapters out of seven. Boatloads of missing info there! @_@

It's not possible to kill eldritch gods, but can you injure or weaken them from the Dark World? (I assume the only way to slay a god permanently would be to remove its associated concepts from the Light World entirely, which is nigh-impossible.)

Sure, they can be injured or weakened, since that's what Kris did in the battle against Queen! The Fun Gang basically wear them down enough to win the battle. And yeah, they can't be removed completely because the human vices that they are strengthened by are pretty universal.

I'm curious about Kris in eldritchrune, does player exists in the au too, are they some sort of entities/beast that maybe Kris guidance? Or maybe possessor? Since Ralsei has Kris soul now, is there like connection maybe that Ralsei know the player in a way, sorry if my ask don't make sense, my english is not that good.

Nah, for Eldritchrune I've just decided it's simpler all around if the player does not exist. The player is already kind of a nebulously eldritch entity in canon, so I feel like that impact would be watered down a bit in a world that is steeped in that kind of thing!
