basic astro observations and opinions

we can all agree that cusps aren't necessarily real, but i've noticed that people who are born about a day or two before the sun moves into the next sign, possess similar qualities to the previous sign.

the first house has a lot more to do with the bodily health of an individual rather than the sixth house. after all, the first house sets the tone for one's natal chart and is literally you (physical body) while the sixth house represents daily routines and services. (maintenance, diet, care of the body).

water & air mars natives can be a lot more aggressive and/or snappy than fire & earth mars natives.

water signs aren't as emotional as y'all make them out to be.

i can agree that a scorpio moon is debilitated, but i disagree about its expression. i feel as though scoprio moon natives can feel their emotions very deeply, and they do have a layer of emotional intensity.

any planet that is debilitated or has hard aspects is a major opportunity for growth and development. once you learn to work with those energies, your life will be a lot smoother.

you'll never be able to fully heal your chiron wounds, but they do become easier to manage. not only that, but the topics pertaining to your chiron will allow you to become a professional in experience, so you can help others in correspondence to your chiron themes.

if scorpio can represent control, taurus can represent binging. wherever your taurus-scorpio axis is can show you where you feel the need to be more in control vs where you can potentially binge.

human nature is flawed, so this means that a sign's energy will never be perfectly manifested since it's in contact with human nature. if one judges a sign based only on a person's behavior, they can be judging the effects of human nature on the sign rather than the sign itself. a lot of people do not take the person out of astrology before giving their interpretations, thus, distorting and diluting astrology to one's personal experience rather than what it is at its core. it's one thing to joke about signs and discuss your experiences with certain energies, but to allow that to distort your perception and interaction with people, prohibits you from experiencing different energies and it's unfair.

Physical Appearance of the Rising Signs

Aries Rising: Defined eyebrow shape with a prominent arch, has a reddish tint to hair despite hair color, prominent forehead, angular and sharp features. Think Rihanna. Would look really good in red hair, cat-eye makeup, and a nude lip.

Taurus Rising: Soft, feminine features. Has an earthy look even if they are glammed up, may have a long and slender neck, prominent and delicate collarbones. Think Audrey Hepburn. Cancer Rising: Has a round face with rounded features. Full or round lips despite size. High cheekbones. Big boobs. Their body is soft and curvy even if it is slim. Think Angelina Jolie. To enhance your beauty wear white eyeliner and inner eye liner, clear or pink lip gloss, and blush. Your best colors are white, pink, and red.

Mini Astrology Observations pt.1

✨ What people see from you as a first impression is actually rounded up in three placements. Not just your rising, but your Mars and Moon as well. The sun and other planets come around when a person gets to know you more. But your rising is visible because well, it's the house of appearance, expression and self. Your Mars is your movement and how you go about doing things, which as humans, so long as we are physically moving in whatever, your Mars sign will portray itself. Then your Moon, which some could argue doesn't really show as a first impression, however it is more visible than we think. Much like the saying 'real eyes realize real lies', the moon (being about emotions) shows in our eyes and just generally on our face. Our first reaction to whatever we see or grasp, that's the moon, and it's there with our first impression of someone, and our impression of them.

✨ Your midheaven is more-so what you consciously present yourself as to the world, whereas your rising is how you unconsciously present yourself. So the one is by choice, and the other isn't really by choice (you just find yourself acting like it).

✨ People you make the best of friends with most likely either have the same mercury as you or their rising is the opposite of your rising, or their suns are the sign of your 3rd, 7th, or 11th house. [E.g, if you're a Virgo sun with a Libra mercury and Cap rising, you could make great friends with Libra suns, Cancer risings (your opposite sign), or Pisces (your 3H), Cancer (your 7H) or Scorpio (your 11H) suns.]

✨ Signs in detriment placements [except for the sun, moon and mercury] actually thrive pretty well in those planets, but they don't really feel it, others just see it. For example, Libra Mars actually do great things for themselves (perhaps even more than Aries Mars), Scorpio Venuses love in very a beautiful, genuine way, and Gemini Jupiters can accomplish amazing, successful things in abundance [if they were to stop doubting themselves though].

✨ Your sun, moon and rising are actually more relevant with telling more about your physical self more than you may think. Firstly, all three combined form what your face looks like. So if you have, for example, a Leo sun, Sagittarius moon, Taurus rising; you have the face of a Leo person, as well as the face of a Sagittarius [sun] person, as well as a Taurus [sun] person all combined. So essentially, you could look similar to some random person who's a Sagittarius sun, because your moon's feature also show on your face. Secondly, more often than not, your sun, moon or rising plays a role in what your name is, based on the traits of that sign. Taking that example of being a Leo/Sag/Taurus person, your name [let's say Serena] in some language means 'the tranquil, peaceful one' , which is what Taurus is about. (Or if you have a name like Rosa, it could be more of a seasonal thing. So perhaps you could've been born or conceived in Spring. But that's off the topic of astrology). And thirdly, your sun, moon or rising is most likely also one of your parent's sun, moon, or rising. Or at least one sign next to it. So for example if you're a Leo/Sag/Taurus, one of your parents either has Leo, Sag or Taurus in their big three. Or if not, they have the signs next to Leo, Sag or Taurus in their big three.

They look like mischievous foxes ngl

They're usually the ones who often get mistaken that they look younger than their actual age

Their eye & hair colour tend to be more on the lighter side even with brown eyes or being a brunette.

The chin might be prominent, kinda pointy in a way.

I've noticed that some of them likes to wear coloured contact lenses that lighter than their original eye colour or a completely different light colour.

They might like to dye their hair into a lighter colour as well, some with red/orange undertone

(The iconic Lindsay Lohan has this placement!)

[Side note: Tbh I find it hard to fit cancer ascendant in one group considering the moon changes its phase very often and so does the variety of different looks in Cancer ascendant.]

They tend to have naturally pale/smooth silky skin. They might also like to show off their breasts whether it's in public or social media.

With the chart ruler of the moon they tend to look like their mother more or more feminine look regardless of the gender.

There are two symbols for cancer one is the crab the other one the moon. Ppl tend to forget that the crab symbol can be applicable to cancer ascendants as well. For those who look more like the moon, they tend to have more fuller chubby cheeks as for those who look more like the crab, they tend to have a more prominent cheekbones with a sharper jawline.

Their eyes stands out a lot too, they can have rlly big eyes or eyes with prominent eyelids, maybe they have an extra fold on the eyelids that makes their eyes look big even if it's not.

The tip of their nose are usually wide or rounded off kinda like a triangle if you get what I mean, it's spread out, bigger than their nostrils. One more thing to add is that their nose tends to be quite short, yk how cats have short noses compare to horses? Yea-

♒️Aquarius Placements and Being Copied♒️

First of all I want to start off by saying thank you to all of the Aquarius placements who have liked my previous posts, commented, reblogged, and messaged me! Your inquiries have helped ME to expand my thoughts on this topic and so I’m back with another post!

Here I’ll be discussing the effects and extent to which each Aquarius placement is copied and mimicked. I’ll also being throwing in some side note inquiries!

Disclaimer: Any placement can be copied and copy but HOW they are copied varies.

Disclaimer #2: All placements I refer to are developed and matured energy of the placements unless stated otherwise and I emphasize that because some people think being quirky and saying “I’m weird” and “People are just against me because they don’t understand me” qualifies as being unique like no honey you need to get over yourself and develop your energy and be your own person aside from other peoples opinions. ☀️Aquarius Sun ☀️ : The sun rules our expression. I’ve been around enough Aquarius suns to see how people treat them and react to them and I can confidently say yeah they can be copied but more so people will single them out and put them down for their differences and then secretly copy them. It’s almost as if people are guilty or even tortured by the mere thought that someone so odd and different could be inspiring or cool. This comes from a lack of understanding the native yet being so curious about them and how they are so confident to be themselves (when developed) no matter what, that sparks others to mimic them. And of course this can be done by copying the natives expressions and interests. Whatever sparks these natives passion people try to mimic. Think manic pixie dream girl, she’s free, she’s herself and yet she never gets the guy but look at the way the guy reacts to her and observe the way other girls treat her. The guy loves her free nature but is threatened by it because HE DOESN’T UNDERSTAND. The girls are confused as to how she can live with herself being SO DIFFERENT, they put her down and yet they want to be like her because the guy likes her so they’ll mimic her to seem interesting because guess what, SHE’S PRETTY DAMN INTERESTING! Also I believe this is one of the main placements that pick me girls copy 🫤

🌙Aquarius Moons🌙: Ironically this placement is the most potent for getting copied. Although the moon symbolizes all that is HIDDEN, people have the audacity to be blatant about their copying. I believe this is because they think the native is oblivious to such copying, that’s where the moon energy comes in; how the copycat perceives the native perceiving their copying 😅 So most of us are aware of the tales of Marylin Monroe and Princess Diana. It’s safe to say their FEMININITY (the moon) was the subject of copying. 🎙Aquarius Mercury🎙: Ah the planet of communication 😌 I already feel the logical straightforward energy of it lol So we’re changing the tone and getting straight to the point unlike Aqua mercuries 😂 I love you all okay? Obviously people copy your words, the way you speak, your body language, how you come off when having a conversation. Aqua mercuries are REALLY GOOD at story telling and people love that about you all, I love that about you all! 🥰 People will LIE to one up you! Venus rules creativity, art, music, fashion, you see where I’m going? Of course you do, you all are so intelligent for no reason. People copy Aqua venuses art styles, mimic their singing, some copy their fashion although they’re fashion sense can be interesting 😂 but the thing about copying an Aqua Venus is YOU COULD NEVER DO BETTER! Because air sign and all and someone has witnessed this then next time there is an altercation let’s say same group of people and this particular person is there too. They will try to jump in and save the day just as you did the previous time acting like they were always the de-escalator 🙄 like if you don’t sit down and be quiet like you were all other 59 TIMES I HAD TO DE-ESCALATE THE SITUATION! But many can’t keep up because the influence of Uranus on your ascendant keeps you ever so changing and Saturn influence protects your individuality. People will see an outfit you wear and try to copy it, only to find out it doesn’t look the same on them as it does you, wow. shocker! 🙄 People will mimic how you are initially perceived they will try to be perceived as such also, so if you are perceived as shy and soft spoken people will try to mimic it. If you come off as extroverted and the life of the party people will try to be perceived as such as well, not knowing this is just your default. And they may not do it in-front of you, they may study you then go somewhere else to try and play the part.

✨Bonus✨: If you have any of these placements in your sidereal chart then these are the underlying energies of your tropical placements so first you’ll look at your tropical placement, gauge the energy of that then ADD the energy of your sidereal placements as a second layer or secondary theme of your tropical placement! Also look if your sidereal chart makes conjunctions to your tropical chart this can definitely have an effect! (A theory I’m developing).

Astrology Meets Psychology - Your Big 5!

As a pluto dominant astrologer, I always like to link astrology to psychology, it helps understand the human nature, in a clearer and deeper way. So I will be providing more segments titled as 'Astrology Meets Psychology'.

Carl Jung, (Psychologist 1875-1961), believed that the human psyche is divided into three main parts. Those three parts are: the ego, the collective unconscious and the personal unconscious. Those archetypes are primordial images that carries the patterns we fall in, and how we experience the world around us. Those are not learned but rather inherited and universal.

Here is a parallel, between Carl Jung's archetypes, and the astrological placements representing your 'Big 5':

The Self: (both unconscious & conscious). This is the union between the conscious and the unconscious. This signifies the wholeness you reach when your personality is expressed fully from a balanced 'psyche'. In astrology, this is your Sun sign.

The Shadow: (unconscious). This rules over the desire and instinct for life, it also signifies the repressed thoughts. The shadow is also the unknown, chaotic parts of yourself. In astrology, this is your Moon sign.

The Anima and the Animus: The anima and the animus are the feminine and masculine parts of a human being. The union between both energies represents a person's 'true-self' and deemed as the tool of communication in the collective unconscious. In astrology, the anima and the animus are Venus and Mars (respectively).

The Persona: (conscious). This the image or the mask a persona represents themselves with, to the outter world. The persona also serves as a protector to the ego, from undesired image. In astrology, this is your Ascendant sign.

sag rising observations

sag risings are the most straightforward rising sign to recognize for me at least. They have small sunken (hooded) eyes but their gaze is intense and inquisitive, yet they have a kindness. they have smaller lips typically, a shallow cupid's bow, and a bigger bottom lip. their lips are naturally downturned and usually pale in color (usually orange in tone). their teeth are long but skinny, with a lot of small, back teeth showing. their strongest feature is their nose, a straight nose bridge. fluffy and/or big hair is usually the most common hair type. they dress in a unique style, looking most natural in warm colors. dynamic with their speech and embedded with comedy, energy, and expression. that's typically how I identify sag rising, lmk what y'all think. - celeste <3
