Solar corona, seven years apart: 2017 and 2024
#my photos#let's pretend I took any time whatsoever to check my camera settings before taking these. let's also pretend they're actually in focus#anyway shitty as they are they are mine :)#i am actually kicking myself because had they been in focus my 2024 photos would have been able to show the prominences#as it is they're just blobs in my best exposures 😑 IT'S FINE.#the shape of the 2017 corona was soooooo spectacular and distinct! i will always pick it out right away#but the prominences from this year. i mean. it was gorgeous#i have seen two eclipses and they are both my favorite :)
