If I had a nickel for every time Katie McGrath played a character who... was adopted at a young age by a rich and powerful family with a prejudice against anyone not strictly human, (that she later rebelled against, wanting her abilities to be recognized as a force for good), had a brother who was the clear golden child who she was close with as kids only to later grow apart due to irreconcilable moral and political differences, had her adoptive father be revealed to be her biological father, had sapphic vibes with a woman who she was close with in her youth (who later went on to lead an empire) before an apparent betrayal soured the friendship, had a close friendship (with major romantic undertones from day 1) with someone who hid their special abilities from her, resulting in a massive feeling of betrayal and a turn to the dark side, discovered as an adult that a close female relative she never knew is in fact a witch - and that she is also a witch...
I’d have two nickels.
Which isn’t much, but it’s weird it happened twice

Asher: Ah, fuck.
Atlas: Hm?
Asher: [muffled] I think I left my badge at home. At least I hope I did cos it’s not here. You haven’t seen it have you?
Atlas: [typing] …
Asher: [clears throat]
Atlas: [startled] Hey, sorry, what?
Asher: [chuckles] Nothing. You sure you don’t want to come to the Bay with me this weekend?
Atlas: Yeah, not this time. It’s been a crazy week, kinda looking forward to a couple days alone.
Asher: Fair enough. If I’m not gonna see you then get up and give me a proper goodbye, will ya?
Atlas: You’re leaving already?
Asher: Yeah, I left my badge at home, so I gotta stop there on my way to work.
Atlas: Damn. Okay.
Asher: Are we going to Dawn’s for dinner on Sunday?
Atlas: As far as I know. I haven’t heard otherwise.
Asher: ‘kay, I’ll make sure I’m back in time then.
Asher: Fuck, I really have to go. I’m gonna be late.
Atlas: Right, okay. Love you.
Asher: Love you too. I’ll see you Sunday.
Atlas: Yep. Tell everyone I said hi.
Asher. Will do. And don’t stay on that computer the whole time.
Atlas: I won’t.
Asher: Mhm.

Mask off! Today we will be doing an analysis of the face reveals in The Owl House--how they are executed, their relevance to the narrative, and why they're so effective.
This video is a polished, expanded essay based on my original post over here on the face reveals in The Owl House.
Thank you @sercezgazety for the awesome quote.
