I like theory about pre-fall Crowley was an archangel and there are a couple moments in season 2 that suggest it, sooooo…

We already see someone used lightning. It’s archangel fucking Gabriel.

a bit of info on working with archangels 🕯️
the archangels, and angels in general, are beings that will never intercede without your expressed consent! they believe in free will which means that they will only work with you, give you messages, etc., if you are open and willing to receive their divine messages.
a common misconception is that angels will only help those who are religious (i.e. christian, jewish, muslim) but that is not the case! angels have nothing but love for humans and nature so they aren’t tied to any specific religious affiliation, though they come from a more religious background.
each archangel, and angel, has their own areas of expertise when it comes to guidance but nothing is beyond them! so you can essentially reach out to any angel for anything and they will do their best to help you.
i’m going to briefly talk about seven of the main archangels and list some correspondences and offerings as well!
archangel michael - the great defender
archangel michael is the great defender of all that is good. he can be called upon for help with strength and courage as well as general protection.
he is associated with the sun tarot card
offerings include: frankincense, rosemary, basil, white or blue candles, selenite, water, letters or prayers addressed to him
archangel raphael - the divine healer
archangel raphael is the divine healer. he assists with physical healing as well as emotional healing. he is especially popular with healers and those who work in the medical field.
he is associated with the strength tarot card
offerings include: lavender, rosemary, chamomile, peppermint, green candles, fresh flowers, emeralds, water, letters or prayers addressed to him
archangel gabriel - the messenger
archangel gabriel is a messenger who helps people learn how to communicate effectively. he can help you find the words you need to get your point across. he helps artists, writers, and teachers.
he is associated with the moon tarot card
offerings include: lavender, jasmine, lily, white candles, moonstone or clear quartz, water, letters or prayers addressed to him
archangel uriel - the hermit
archangel uriel is a wizened hermit figure who helps us deal with feelings of loneliness that can become overwhelming at times. he helps us learn how to be alone without feeling lonely.
he is associated with the hermit tarot card
offerings include: sandalwood, frankincense, cinnamon, red or gold candles, citrine, water, letters or prayers addressed to him
archangel chamuel - the peace bringer
archangel chamuels main mission is to bring peace to the world. you can call on him when you're suffering from anxiety or if you need help forgiving someone. he is especially helpful when it comes to relationship troubles.
he is associated with the lovers tarot card
offerings include: rose, chamomile, lavender, pink candles, rose quartz, love letters, water, letters or prayers addressed to him
archangel zadkiel - the forgiver
archangel zadkiel is who you should call when it comes to forgiveness as a whole. he helps regulate emotions and work through them so we can feel that sense of forgiveness for others and ourselves.
he is associated with the temperance tarot card
offerings include: rose, lavender, chamomile, eucalyptus, purple candles, amethyst, engaging in acts of service like volunteering or donating, water, letters or prayers addressed to him
archangel jophiel - the transformer
archangel jophiel is responsible for the positive transformations we go through in life. he encourages inner journeys that help us to discover our passions.
he is associated with the star tarot card
offerings include: chamomile, lemon balm, sunflower yellow or orange candles, yellow jasper, spending time in nature, practicing positive affirmations, water, letters or prayers addressed to him

2D Dystopia horror concept; Arsentropolis
So I have an idea for a project I want to start on, and I’ve already made a few things :)
Arsentropolis is a dystopia covered in fog, disease, and demonism. A civil war has caused this civilization to wall up their borders to keep everything in and out. Clouds and fog fill the atmosphere and the sun can only be remembered by the ancient.
These dreadful streets are filled with scavengers, homeless, sinners, and preachers. Half of society is gone, and there’s no such thing as trust anymore in this bizarre dystopia.
I’m using a special style for it, idk what to call it. I don’t have a story plot yet but I’m working on it, and there’s still a lot of characters I need to make. I’ve got a few so far tho :]
This is Madame Anthrax, Miss Anne for short.
Anthrax is a deadly poison/disease
She is the duchess of Arsentropolis, and while they live in a ”democracy”, she mostly decides everything herself. She is a sociopath and portrays herself as reliable and sweet, meanwhile she is quiet the opposite. She made a ritual and deal with a powerful demon to possess her and give her power, and in return she would eat human bodies instead of regular meat to feed the demon. The demon only takes form when she is enraged or smth similar.
Alcatraz is a very bizarre ”cat”
He does mostly what he feels like, good and bad deeds. So he is both a good guy but also a bad one. He is extremely talkative and extroverted, which can be helpful sometimes, but in other cases it can just be annoying. He sounds just like a grown man, and does not meow or make any cat noises. Alcatraz does not take any sides, he simply does what his gut feeling tells him. He mostly just wanders around the dystopia and talk people to their death.
I don’t really have any info for the archangels yet except they’re all demons in disguise except for Michael fkldjdlwk
This is sort of a religious horror, as it basically has demons, angels, a whole bunch of crucifixs, excorsisms, and some other stuff.
My biggest dream would be to make this a point and click puzzle horror game, but I’m far from good at programming and I don’t think I could do it myself 😭
So far this is just a little project for myself, but hopefully I can fulfill my dreams.

CROWLEY WAS RAPHAEL!!
There are just too many Clues to deny it.
He literally created the universe. He powered the whole thing up, and he worked “very close with head office” on it. Also the whole things with him making the stars and Archangel Raphael also making stars
Remember the post-bookshop-fire bar scene? When Crowley is lamenting how he fell? He mentions how one day “Lucifer and the gang” came around. I’m pretty sure Lucifer was pretty high rank, why would a high ranking angel like Lucifer talk to a non-high ranking angel? That’s because Crowley was a literal archangel! Not low ranking at all!!
When Crowley and Aziraphale preform the miracle no one believes Aziraphale could do it because it was such a powerful miracle that “Only an archangel could preform a miracle like that.” Yes, we stan the power (Aziracrow) of love, BUT ALSO THE POWER OF CROWLEY!!
He knew the password to the secret Gabriel files which only ≥dominions can access.
During the recordings of Gabriel’s trial when Metatron says “We can’t lose another Prince of Heaven,” the camera pans over to Crowley. Crowley was THAT prince of heaven!!!!
He recognized the Metatron. Why would some random lowly demon recognize THE Metatron? I’ll tell you why. Because that was who expelled Crowley from heaven. ALSO, the Metatron recognized him (sure, it could be one of those instances of “the almighty knows all, but still)
Lastly, Aziraphael’s name means “of Raphael,” and that’s just too good to not be true. THEY ARE MEANT FOR EACH OTHER!!! 😭

mild good omens s2 spoilers
everyone hypothesizing/hc that Crowley was the archangel Raphael b4 the fall bc not only is Raphael conveniently missing but Crowley was also a high ranking angel pre-fall
great theory! wonderful but there's no text where Raphael falls & also the universe and the stars were never his dominion
I offer you Kokabiel: "the star of god"
a highly ranked angel known as a watcher (meant to watch over the universe) who became a fallen angel and commands an army in hell
known as the angel of the stars and teaches of constellations, Kokabiel while considered fallen is still seen as holy despite being a resident of hell
literally I feel like this fits mr gaimans narrative much better and gonna be honest archangels are actually very low level in angel rankings & Crowley is specifically at least a dominion or throne so he had to be pretty high up there even assuming the book /show moved where archangels fall on the hierarchy plus watchers land high up in the hierarchy so it would make since for him to have access
most fallen watchers fell bc of their involvement in the creation of the nephilim but if Kokabiel is generally considered holy its unlikely that that was the reason he was cast from heaven
and I would say that angel Crowley has a childlike love of his nebulae that it seemed like god did not respect & we can assume that he fell bc of him questioning the almighty about the universe
like I don't think neil gaiman has prefall Crowley set up as the angel Kokabiel but I do think it fits a tad bit better that currently floating theories
again this reinforces my theory that Kokabiel didn't defy god by creating the Nephilim but instead he came upon the corruption of heaven which we know that Crowley knows better than anyone, and that is what led to his fall simply questioning heaven or the almighty & being cast to hell for it
