If A League Of Their Own series could alter their writing style for season 2 to be more episodic (and maybe some nice character features/studies?) with a season throughline, and then release the episodes on a weekly basis, that'd be :chefs_kiss:
Whilst I am really over the Netflix-style season dump binge-watching trend (and how deeply unhealthy and unsustainable it is) I can see how I would have preferred to experience ALOTO Season 1 as a continuous watch rather than week-by-week, similar to the first season of Arcane (in the past I would have just waited til the end of season and binged it all on my own terms). I think that's because of the numerous side-storylines that carried over from episode to episode, eg. the Lupe x Carson rivalry and its comedic conclusion, Shirley's homophobia working up to the aftermath of s1e6 and concluding in the finale, and Esti's journey of alienation. By contrast, I feel like the actual parallel main storyline that follows Max (and Clance) I would have received fine on a weekly basis, and I just wonder what this all says about writing scenes for pacing and progression.
(If anyone who studied screenwriting wants to comment on why that might be... ?)

We can't change what fate has in store for us, but we don't have to face it alone.
