oc ramble time (pt 1)
ok rad time to get into a long story. my main ocs r oliver, aki, gasha, kimi, anastasia, an unnamed child who im completely revamping and megumi. all of them (except the kid) are ex/super high school levels. gasha is still a shsl bc shes still Technically in highschool, and the rest of them are now 18+, and sort of on their way to college. also! a lot of them have some sort of power.
megumi: succubus / demon || ex-shsl bartender
aki: necromancy and mediumship || ex-shsl necromancer
anastasia: part succubus, some necromancy powers || ex-shsl bounty hunter
gasha: revived by aki. not necessarily a power but a defect bc of it- she can only digest human flesh, and is prominently controlled by females. || shsl bone carver
kimi: revived by aki, able to be controlled by nearly anyone. defect bc of revival- only able to digest semi-solids and liquids (applesauce, yogurt, jello, pudding, etc) || ex-shsl ??? (i forgot the original one but ill get an idea for it soon.)
oliver: literally no power at all. he doesn’t know how he’s in this mess. || ex-shsl gas station attendant
also abusive relationship and transphobia tw
basically, at the age of 14, aki got in a relationship w megumi. right off the bat it was terrible. she knew that meg was a succubus but aki, being the lonely gal she is went “even tho im trans and i haven’t gotten any surgeries and just started hrt, i know megumi won’t use me for the features i don’t want so she can drain me of energy for her personal use!” and guess what? megumi does exactly that! she convinces aki to run away from her family in japan, and to go to america. megumi continues to abuse aki, sexually, mentally, and emotionally, and she convinced her that she’ll never actually be a female and that she’s a freak of nature. this caused aki to completely rely on megumi, following her around and such. then, megumi brings home a dead body and told aki to revive it. she did, and that’s how gasha was revived. she was 16 then.
also. quick note. aki, before reviving the dead, shes able to add a special “rule” that they’re required to follow. not like a rule like “no running”, think of it working more like newton’s law. they’re not something these guys could not follow. they’re normally super vague so once they’re in effect, they could do basically anything. and gasha got one of these rules put on her by megumi’s request. aki said something like “you must follow the rules given to you by those you trust” and this ended up being literally every gal to exist.
but once gasha was revived, and megumi used he powers she has to give her a talent (bone carving), she was then used to watch aki. gasha reported basically anything back to megumi, and as a reward she got food! how would she get the food? megumi scammed men for money (saying she’s a succubus you can probably guess how) and then paid local morgues for the bodies and stuff they’d get rid of. she’d then force aki to “fix” meals with it, and then give them to gasha.
it’s a mess.
soon, tho, aki managed to get in contact w an old friend of hers, oliver. he lived in america at the time, and in a few months from then he would move back to japan with his grandparents. aki was aware of this, and sort of took advantage of the scenario. she called him and was like “hey. im in a shit situation and am stuck w a really shitty person is there anyway you could smuggle me and a dead-yet-now-alive girl out and let us live w you and maybe bring us back to japan?” oliver says yes, and makes a plan on how to do it. then plan is successful, and they move into his new, 2 bedroom apartment.
aki basically does all of the house work while she’s there, as well as trying to recover from her trauma. once she kind of gets better, she begins doing necromancy commissions, which got decent pay. she was giving oliver a bit of it to make up for letting them stay there. the rest she put to the side for plane tickets, and living essentials. once they moved to japan, oliver discovered quickly that aki’s job didn’t provide a steady income, since it was commission. so he got a new apartment close to his grandparents, which had enough room for the three of them, and when possible, aki provided rent money.
then, one day (she was around 17 then) she was commissioned to revive some guy, which was given to her by some mafia members (that’s what she thought, at least. she’s still not sure). she got the cash, and revived him. this guy had no recollection of who he was, which was normal. though the people who paid her to do this didn’t seem to know that. they fucking Freaked when this dude didn’t know who he was, so they just left. they left aki w a scared, dead guy, who was really tall and fit. so she’s like “ok rad some protection in case megumi finds me” and takes him in. she names him kimi and kimi ends up seeing her as a mother, and regularly calls her mommy. this is partially because of his childish nature/mentality tho. anyways, she brings him home and takes him in. he’s stuck sharing a room with gasha, which he’s ok with.
tldr: a horny demon bitch fucks up some girl’s life and that girl is trying to make the best of it

so jaime was born in hardcore conservative seneca, south carolina, and literally from the get go it was just Bad News. since he was very very young he was sort of ~aware that he didn’t feel totally comfortable in his skin. he was always drawn to “““girly””” things, wanted to wear skirts and dresses, liked playing with his mom’s makeup, played with dolls instead of cars, all that good stuff. in particular though he usually just felt a lot more comfortable being around girls when he was little and he experienced ( and continues to experience ) a bit of dysphoria sometimes. most of the time it’s not bad and he feels alright in his body, but now and then it hits hard and he just sort of goes into anxiety mode and during those times he will go to his closest friends for comfort and validation
he’s almost always wearing skirts and dresses tho and pastels are his aesthetic
his pronouns are flexible! he’ll go by he/she/they/whatever. he is a genderfluid lil bb and very much appreciates being validated in his femininity
he has wonderful amazing parents which is very lucky for him because they made it extremely easy for him to start coming to terms with who he is, and especially growing up in a place where people weren’t inclined to be open-minded about lgbtq+ people, they provided a safe place for him to explore everything inside their home. unfortunately by the time he was 10 they started to realize it wasn’t gonna work out bc jaime was beginning to get adamant about dressing himself and wanting to wear dresses to school and so that was when the bullying really started. it worked out that his dad got an amazing job teaching philosophy at a uni in bangor, maine, so they moved nearby to dexter ( where his dad grew up ) when jaime was 11 and it wasn’t PERFECT but it was a lot better than being in the south
there was still struggle ofc, and by now jaime’s p much aware that there will always be a little struggle, but he has very much learned to embrace himself and be rly proud of who he is and ( most of the time at least ) be v content with himself and who he’s become
SO PERSONALITY wise he’s actually a sarcastic little shit, always stirring up trouble bc he’s Bored, likes doing things specifically to get a reaction out of people, and has mood swings like you’ve literally never seen before. this tiny terror will be the most affectionate kitten in the world one second and the next be flaky as fuck nd you couldn’t get his attention if u set off a bomb in front of him so good luck
when he’s in his kitten mode tho he’s Very Very Affectionate
he’s a little Slut honestly ?? he sleeps around and literally does not bother hiding it, he’s perfectly comfortable with people knowing. he like deep down rly wants intimacy and a real relationship but he genuinely doesn’t know how to settle down and so boys usually get rly fed up
the one actual relationship he’s had lasted abt 6 months and ended terribly so he’s like !!!!!!! fuck that !!!
he’s very hard to love. like he’s easy to become infatuated with but he’s honestly like a tornado or smth like in order to love this boi u have to be able to love something rly quite destructive and intense
um this bitch smokes so 👏 much 👏 weed 👏 like he generally has a joint or two on him tucked away somewhere. he is also, however, big-time against hard drugs ( coke, heroin, meth, etc ). he’s done coke a couple times, but like in general he won’t touch that shit !! and he’ll probably purse his lips at u if u do it in front of him, but unless ur like rly good friends he prob won’t actually say anything bc he tries not to be ~preachy. if ur good friends tho boy watch out he’ll randomly get pissed off abt it and start a fight eryfjyethyrgaudhsja
he’s like super into philosophy bc of his dad, and he’s intelligent so the concepts come to him quickly and easily, but he’s completely unable to apply those concepts to his real life he’s literally too childish. he also has a lot of random knowledge, catch him rhapsodizing about medieval juridical systems and the origins of whaling in america
also he’s an artist at heart, he’ll almost always start doodling on napkins and receipts etc no matter where he is or what he’s doing. he’ll usually have paint stains on his hands and arms and sometimes legs. he goes to art school !! we love a stupid ass art hoe. that’s jaime
he’s doing the show For The Vine and his parents are pursing their lips so hard about it
