Nesting is for siblings! A Cardassian social space where you can literally let your hair down and share warmth.

Unfortunately for Young Elim that means that everyone's rowdy and wiggly in the evenings when he'd rather be sleeping, but that's the tradeoff for getting to use the shared comfy bed instead of the one in the attic where he'd have to sleep otherwise.

Okay so hypothetically if someone was to write something based on your Whaleshark Riku AU, what would the hypothetical time-line of events be? You know, hypothetically, of course

Well, hypothetically, if someone were to write something based off the AU, uhhhh

- Sora meets Riku accidentally while playing on the Play Island. They’re essentially BBS ages and stuff so like little babbies.

- they quickly become friends (Sora’s kinda a weirdo so while he’s good at making friends, he doesn’t have any like friends friends if that makes any sense. Until like, Kairi comes along but anyway) and Sora keeps his new friend a secret

- after a couple years, Riku suddenly disappears and Sora is devastated. (I don’t exactly have a reason why he disappears? My friend suggested he’s a sea god of sorts that can purify water so he was drawn elsewhere? But you can think of whatever I suppose)

- 10 or so years pass and Sora’s kinda chalked up Riku to being an imaginary friend. He’s volunteering at the local aquarium (he’s studying to become a marine biologist <3) when he hears about some new creature coming in. The place doubles as a clinic for marine life and Sora also helps out there too as an intern.

- However, the staff are kinda bein hush hush about it and Sora super sus of that.

- He ends up sneaking in (somehow) and discovers Riku (he’s REAL holy shit) but now he’s massive. Easily the size of a bus or more. (Riku’s also injured but I dunno by what so more flexibility there and that’s why he’s at the clinic)

- Sora manages to get Riku’s attention (he also does something here that would let Riku know it’s Sora definitely but I dunno what that is so use ur imagination)

- Riku’s ecstatic and they end up just hanging out for a few hours until Security finds out Sora’s there

- There’s a scuffle where as Sora’s getting taken away, Riku flips out, slamming against the glass. The overnight staff are able to sedate Riku enough before he can actually hurt himself and Sora’s taken in for questioning

- The staff review the security footage and they end up getting Sora to stay on the floor (he gets paid money too don’t worry) as whatever Sora’s doing had improved Riku’s mental state drastically. They’d never seen him that content or relaxed before (my man’s got depression and it’s not helping his injuries heal)

- l really have nothing past that? Like, Sora’s there and most of the staff are super nice and stuff. U can add like “evil people wanna use the Sea God for evil purposes” or something here I honestly don’t care what cha do here

- but eventually Riku, with healing both mentally and physically, figures out that he can become human temporarily (he had to change back like, once a month for a day) when something happens to Sora and Riku is too big to follow and help

- and I dunno! Go crazy with it

my recent Poisoning Adventure was bc my psych NP (baseline can't be trusted) overdosed me on a new med I never shouldve been on and it caused pretty severe acute extrapyramidal effects (hella muscle spasms, uncontrollable jerking/movements, felt like i was in a fuckin dbz gravity chamber) and METABOLIC ENCEPHALOPATHY!! i couldnt control my body and even tho i knew who i was when it was where i was and why i was there i was also on a completely different realm of existence and it was like, Terrifying Actually!! so even tho im off that med and antidoted and not at risk anymore every time i have any kind of nerve tingling anywhere i start Freaking The Fuck Out. this shit was FOR REAL worse and more harrowing than literally any part of having cancer including the parts where i almost died. was more frightening than having meningitis bc at least i wasnt totally fuckin zooted outta my mind!! ur bitch needs Therapy. wowie!!

anyway ive been struggling w orthostatic hypotension for a hot minute (largely dehydration imo) so i got that rush u get when ur bp tanks and just started cryin like a little bitch babby on account of the Fears. Despite being super tired I am afraid to sleep bc the first bout of extrapyramidal symptoms woke my ass from DEAD SLUMBER

I used to love NPs but nowadays NP schools are clownhouse jokester diploma mills and due to scope creep ushered forth by the capitalist disneyfication of healthcare theyre allowed to practice WAY THE FUCK completely outta bounds. it isnt safe!! chikadee was makin nonstop bonkers med choices for me including putting me on the vers of a medication not even meant to to treat what we were trying to treat and also the correct version had limited success in.. the pediatric population?? babe what?? had to get my pcp involved on that one.

i had issues w nps before on account of all the probs w education and safety (theyre not even required to have 5 minutes of bedside experience outside of clinicals which ultimately are glorified techwork and useless in terms of Actual Nursing Practice (i do think having clinical experience IS Essential and beneficial tho)) but this trash ass dumbshit idiot gave me FRESH TRAUMAS i did NOT need so i have gone from a nonenthusiast to a full on hater. listen we did not go to med school we went to nursing school we should stay in our fucking lane. christ alive!!!!!

actually since its on my mind now im gonna give u another big loredump. this is how angelique gets kicked out of angel school.

to start, a little background info. while celestial and angel are terms used interchangeably, celestial refers more to what angels are as a like species and angel is more like. a career? except not really its more like a career if that career were the only career. its like if humankind was split into like kids and accountants, and if you grew to adulthood and didnt become an accountant youre like not even rly recognized as a person. youre some other weird Thing the other normal accountants dont even have a word for. does that make sense? well moving on.

so the main purpose of young celestials' schooling is to guide them into full-fledged angelhood and help them earn their wings. wings show up usually in like late adolescence to young adulthood upon the completion of some kind of significant life event or milestone. think mlp cutie marks except theyre all functionally the same one. you may be sensing a theme.

new babby angels for the most part kinda just pop into existence, but angels can also be born the ya know traditional way, and angels can procreate with non-angels. the result of an angel and mortal union is a naphal or nephel (plural: nephilim). nephilim are actually a good deal more powerful than your standard angel, possibly due to the fact that theyre not limited by the compulsion towards Goodness that angels are generally beholden to. unlike full celestials who only gain access to the full range of their angelic abilities upon maturation, nephilim are able to access their powers from adolescence onward, but also have a much harder time controlling them, and are broadly stigmatized as dangerous, uncivilized, and impure as a result.

despite this, nephilim are welcome (at least in the most surface level way) and in fact strongly encouraged to integrate into angelic society in the event that their celestial heritage makes them unable to blend in with human society. nephel kids who graduate from an angel institution (and earn their wings, something which a lot of kids experience upon graduation anyway) are even granted honorary full angel status and any trace of their former human heritage is completely erased ^_^ yayy

this is a lot of very rambly worldbuilding but i feel like the context is important.

so back in angel school angelique was a pretty popular kid. top of her class, an exemplary angel in the making, you know the drill. one day by chance she catches a classmate stealing the answers for an upcoming test. the classmate in question is a nephel kid named quinn who was raised human for the first thirteen years of their life before their powers started coming in and they were forced to transfer. as you might have guessed, its not been an easy transition for quinn, and distributing these answers to a few less than studious young celestials is meant to serve as payment for their protection from the pretty much constant bullying.

at first ange doesnt care why theyre doing it, its wrong! but.. quinn points out that she doesnt know what its like. shes the star student, the headmistress' daughter for goodness sakes. theyve been dealt a very different hand.

before angelique can think too much on that though, a teacher walks in and the two of them get busted fighting over the answers. in the heat of the moment angelique takes the fall, protecting quinn. because after all theyre right, the punishment she stands to receive is probably going to be much lighter than what quinn stands to face, right? theres no way the headmistress would punish her own daughter too severely, especially once she explains that she was only trying to do what was right, as always!

angelique doesnt get to explain. angelique gets expelled.

Last time I drew this girl was when she was a scared little babby in the comic, What It Is to Be Human (which was also a commission for Puzzle). And, I know I say this every time when I make art of scene and moments from their fanfic, I can't wait until it's uploaded and posted so I can share it with you all! From the snippits and previews Puzzle has allowed me to see, I can already tell you that it's definitely not your typical "OC in the FMA Anime universe that follows the episodes one-to-one". I'd love to go into detail gushing about all I know, but I wouldn't want to disclose too much info about the story in progress. So~ You'll all just have to wait and see ^u^

Gushing aside though lol I'm happy to draw another one of Puzzle's many characters featured in their FMA Fic. Each one has been thoughtfully crafted, even with research about wheelchairs and disabled characters that use them--and not in a tokenism sort of way. So, just that alone shows how much care and thought was put into building these characters and the story around them. Next to Eden, Eliana is a close second so far--I like their take on albinism in Ishvalan genetics for Eli's overall design, and I can't wait to see her take on her disabilities and grow as a character from it in the story ^u^

ANYWAYS. I see peopple are sharing cyst stories. I acgually just had a recurrent cyst removed from my left wrist for the second time last rhursday so i am typing with 1 hand now. I DIDNT EVEN GET TO SEE IT!!!! (and this is #2... when will i get to see?!) I wanted to at least see it.. and maybe take it home with me in a jar and maybe start my cyst collection lol. They threw my babby cyst away. hopefullyi regain nerve sensation in my fingers
