have i posted about the jasonette star tear idea i have???

the idea is that Jason is a merman and Marinette this girl who visits the sea every summer. you could say they are childhood friends and every time they meet, Jason gives her a mermaid's tears.

Marinette thought they are just colored glasses but she keeps them nevertheless because they were Jason's gifts to her. meanwhile, those were actually the tears Jason cried because of his crush that he wouldn't tell Marinette

so yeah every year Marinette got new rocks and every year Jason's vision got a bit worse. until one summer, Marinette came to where Jason and her usually meets but however long she waited, he did not come.

#anyway it's late for mermay and i'm positive that this idea has been around for more than a year so i'm releasing it into the wild :P #soo star tear is like hanahaki but instead of coughing out flowers it's crying colored tears and going blind. very much angst potential #also you know about mermaid's tears? they're thought to be the tears of mermaids but in fact they're just colored glasses eroded by waves #(nowadays they can mean resin pallets a.k.a plastic pallets)#going blind because of unrequited love is lame so i'm making it going blind because jason is a stubborn bitch who won't confess his feels #the idea is that repressing feels makes them fester and in the long run not good for oneself #oh yeah the star tear thing is a thing in the mer world and bruce got it too and he was lucky he only went colorblind rather than blind #maribat #jasonette #apologize for the chaotic form change from present to past and vice versa #i'm having a headache
