Yashahime had writers that not only made Sesshomaru the Actual Worst, they went out of their way to defend, justify and worship him in every stupid thing he did, yet they still couldn’t write his kids into liking him and I think that’s beautiful.

This "ship" is so disgusting that even major Twitter accounts call its shippers out as delusional. Totally fitting.

Just saw a clip from Yashahime where Inuyasha gets sat by Kagome for being pissed at Sesshomaru (who locked them up for 14 years) and all he says in response is a broken "Okaaaayyy"
First of all, wtf Kagome lol Inuyasha has every right to be angry at the Sesshomaru who separated you two from your daughter???? Who gives a shit if his kids are there? And second, doesn't anyone else see this as a sign of a man who's spirit has been completely broken by his abusive wife?
Character Assassination =/= Character Development
Kikyo naturally quelled Inuyasha's fire. Kagome, on the other hand, completely extinguished it.
Inuyasha's not even defending himself anymore. He just takes it like a beaten hound. That's so f-ing sad.
You're telling me this is the ending Inuyasha deserved?
Terrible. Give me my rude boy back.

The Inuyasha subreddit is disgusting. Full of Sessrib shippers and people who see nothing wrong with it. If you try to talk about it being grooming, then you're ostracized from the community.

Inuyasha meeting Moroha. Very nicely acted and touching. A part of the series I am remotely okay with but also not at all okay with because they were separated due to bullshit and gross reasons. God, imagine this series if there hadn’t been Sessr!n. And I’m also guessing that the daughter raised by Sota is suddenly going to totally love her bio parents despite S3sshomaru being a POS and her adoptive parents being more of parents than her bio ones ever will be. I mean, with all the stuff the anime added that I dislike, I guess I should have expected this with Yasah!me.

Sesshomaru being such a strong advocate for autonomy is so freaking good, it gets me every time. Like, sure, dude may ask a question because he’s curious, but, “You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to.”
And fucking- don’t even get me started with him killing Mukotsu and the whole, “I can survive just fine on my own” scene in later seasons. Plus him stopping every time Rin and Jaken go to speak so he can look at them and actively listen to what they’re saying is so-
Gods.
I love him so much. And like the only reason he has travel companions is because they decided to travel with him and he just kinda let them.
Oh, Jaken wanted to travel with him? Fine, here’s a staff, this is my name, do what you want. Okay, just revived a child. Do what you want, I guess. Here’s a kimono since your old one is covered in blood. Oh, it’s the kid that tried to kill my child before. You want to travel with me too? Well, my child has forgiven you so go off, I guess. You’re already prepared for everything so I don’t have to give you a weapon or clothes. I’ll just save you when you’re in over your head against an enemy. Anyways, just do whatever you want. I don’t care. Unless it affects me. Or endangers you. In which case I care very much but will never admit it.

Latin American fans are destroyed themselves by attacked anti sessrin in fact Inukagmor are good family than worst family sessrin, comic book writer wonder that sesshomaru didnt love his daughters
I couldn’t help but notice that on here, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok that the vast majority of sessrinnies are Spanish speakers and/or have a Latin American flag in their username, Latin American place in their bio or something similar.
And I’m not even exaggerating when I say the vast majority. It’s so bizarre and somewhat disturbing.

10 Anime Characters Who Were Ruined By The Sequel
Sequels have become increasingly common in anime. Some sequels feature characters who change drastically enough that they're essentially ruined.
Anime has grown significantly since its introduction in the West. Anime is no longer limited to brief windows on late-night cable and instead a featured aspect of mainstream streaming services. Many anime these days are pretty popular, so it makes sense that a fast track developed for creating sequels.
Sequels come in many forms, including both further adaptations of the manga or the creation of an entirely new spinoff show. These sequels tend to be beloved by fans who want their favorite franchises to continue, but occasionally, even a great series can find itself stumbling and making a mess of its character along the way.
10 The Promised Neverland: Norman Lived (& Ruined The Show)
The Promised Neverland was a unique addition to the Shonen Jump lineup and made a huge splash in the anime fandom during its 2019 adaptation. Fans were eagerly awaiting the follow-up to its stellar first season and were met with nothing but disappointment by the end of season two.
One of the biggest mysteries from the first season was the fate of Norman. Season two eventually revealed that Norman had lived and turned into the leader of a demon hunting group. While fans were ecstatic to see Norman back, they couldn't help but be disappointed with the overall season and Norman's trajectory.
9 Boruto: Naruto Became An Awful Dad
Boruto is a controversial subject in the anime sphere. As the sequel series to a beloved shonen franchise, Boruto had a lot to live up to. Many fans consider the anime an overall failure, particularly for the way it treats some of Naruto's legacy characters.
Specifically, fans gripe with the fact that Naruto ended up being an absentee father. After growing up without parents, fans felt that it was out of character for Naruto to be anything but the most present, active dad around.
8 Sword Art Online: Asuna Became A Damsel
Sword Art Online may not be the most critically acclaimed anime in existence, but it has a massive grip on the market of new anime fans. The original season of Sword Art Online brought on a huge wave of new isekai, redefining many modern anime trends.
One of that original season's best elements was the character Asuna, who many felt was a breath of fresh air in the realm of anime female characters. This became disappointing to fans when future seasons of Sword Art Online came out and they felt Asuna turned into a damsel in distress.
7 Tokyo Ghoul: re: Ken Kaneki Stopped Making Sense
Tokyo Ghoul is one of the most popular modern franchises in anime. But despite its popularity, it has one of the worst anime adaptations of any manga according to plenty of fans. Tokyo Ghoul: re is considered blasphemous to a lot of Tokyo Ghoul fans and is largely ignored due to its many issues.
Primarily, the season suffers from intense pacing problems, leading many character choices to feel undermotivated and lacking proper setup. Characters like Ken Kaneki, who were once fan-favorites, become nonsensical puppets of their former selves.
6 One-Punch Man: Saitama Lost His Appeal In The Second Season
One-Punch Man is a unique property, having been adapted from a webcomic to a manga, then from a manga to an anime. While the original webcomic of One-Punch Man has its fanbase, the story really took off following its manga adaptation. Most anime fans appreciate One-Punch Man for its stellar visuals above all else.
This becomes apparent in the franchise's second season when the animation quality dropped severely and left many fans disappointed. The character of Saitama is wonderful, but to these fans, he just isn't the same without that breathtaking animation to compliment his actions.
5 Boruto: Sasuke Got Incredibly Nerfed
While Boruto has managed to establish its own fanbase after years of release, many fans of the original Naruto series have yet to accept the new sequel. Boruto is constantly under fire for its treatment of older, fan-favorite characters.
One of the biggest disparities comes in the form of Sasuke Uchiha, who many fans believe was nerfed to accommodate the Boruto story. By the end of the original series, Sasuke was one of the most powerful ninjas to ever exist, making it hard for fans to believe he would ever lose to anyone in the Boruto anime.
4 Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon: Sesshomaru Turned Out To Be A Creep
Inuyasha is considered a classic among older anime fans. Having premiered in the early 2000s, Inuyasha was many viewers' very first anime. These fans were brimming with anticipation for the sequel series that came out in 2020.
Unfortunately for many, Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon ended up confirming some troubling details about the character of Sesshomaru. With the reveal that he had married the young girl he had basically raised during the events of Inuyasha, many felt this sequel series turned their favorite character into a problematic figure.
3 Berserk 2016: Bad CGI Made A Great Character Unbearable
Berserk is one of the most influential and critically acclaimed manga in the world. It has transcended the medium and tapped into demographics that normally wouldn't be exposed to anime and manga, making fans of different types around the globe.
The characters of Berserk are some of the most complicated and thematically rich in all of fiction. Unfortunately, the beauty of these characters tends to get lost in Berserk's many adaptations. Fans find it hard to focus on Guts' complexity when the CG animation is so appalling.
2 Pokémon: Sun & Moon Neglected Ash & Misty's History
The Pokémon anime has had a complex relationship between Ash and his potential love interests. Due to Pokémon being a show for children, it seems to never want to dip too far into romance. But every season at least hints at the possibility of Ash's female companions falling in love with him.
The biggest example of this would be Ash's first companion, Misty. While Misty has returned numerous times, this element of their dynamic has never been revisited. Many fans feel that Misty's characterization is hollow when this aspect is ignored.
1 Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters Got Rid Of Yami Yugi's Edge
Yu-Gi-Oh! is one of the most iconic anime and card games of all time, but many fans aren't aware of Yu-Gi-Oh!'s dark past prior to the invention of Duel Monsters. The original Yu-Gi-Oh! series followed the same characters in a much darker setting where Yami Yugi battled opponents in more than just card games.
When Yami Yugi won a match, he would force his opponents to endure psychological torture in the form of penalty games. This was all rewritten with the invention of Duel Monsters, leaving Yami Yugi a much lighter figure than viewers had first met.
