Community owned/ funded/focused - We're a platform for creatives & those who appreciate the SKILL of humans!
Our team is BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ 🏳️🌈. We're ANTI-AI and we DO NOT partner with AI companies to sell user's creations.
With the current scope of platforms looking into AI (cough Twitter, Tumblr and Reddit cough) we want to remind creatives that there are spaces that have your best interest in mind! But also, PLEASE PROTECT YOUR WORK.
Check out https://glaze.cs.uchicago.edu/ to learn more about Glaze and Nightshade so you can protect your art!
Some Critical Role fanart! We're going back to Exandria Unlimited Episode 1, Summer 2021.
This is Opal, the biggest bumblefuck ever. She brought chaos, dontgiveafuckness and sass to the party since minute one. Of course I had to doodle her.
Luckily enough, Liam "ArtDad" O'Brien saw my post on Twitter and contacted me to feature this piece in the "Unlikely Heroes" official art gallery on July 1st 2021 ↓
I am temporarily on hiatus on Twitter bc my account got temporarily limited in the STUPIDEST WAYS POSSIBLE.
I know I use twitter for pics and cat memes, but recently theres this account that infuriates me:
And I commented that, and about they're stealing artworks nonconsensually. But moments later, my tweets about anti-AI got automatically deleted from Twitter. They said that it violated the rules because of... Violence. Excuse me, WHAT THE FUCK???
I feel like the main problem with AI alignment is similar to the main problem with NFTs: one of your main assumptions is bad, so no amount of tweaking can fix it.
In the case of NFTs, the unregulated and anonymous nature of the system is exactly why it was so appealing to scammers, and also the whole point of them in the first place.
In the case of generative AI, "be able to produce an immense amount of information with very little effort" is both the main problem we're dealing with and the entire point of it in the first place.
Digital Kessler Syndrome isn't an unwanted side effect, it's the only possible outcome.
You cannot fix something that is designed to be harmful.
idk if this has reached the writing community here, but i’ve seen comments on Wattpad profiles (‘wattpad’s cringe blah blah’ idc) of random accounts asking if people’s stories are on this app/website. so i just wanna make y’all aware that this app/website supports NFTs and AI (for both writing and art), and even helps in creating them. haven’t seen any direct evidence of written works being stolen, but be careful 🥲

More Critical Role fanart, yay!!
This Fearne Calloway portrait and the Opal one were made on the same night. I had so much fun doodling this absolute delight of a character.
