why yes I am tagging every political punk post with some variation of PuNk IsNt PoLiTiCaL. headass because of that one dumbass attempting to separate a partially politically based subculture from the politics. why do you ask

#you GENUINELY cannot look at the history of punk and go 'no politics here' because there isn't a single unifying ideology #it'd be like saying Look At Queer People. Nothing Political There #do queer people have beliefs ranging from anarchism to communism to literal neonazism? yea! you cannot look at the queer community and #divorce it and its members actions from politics! you literally can't do it! it's dumb to try!#and while yes it's dumb to compare being queer to being punk but it's literally just the first example I could think of that applied
