#olive.txt#hollow knight#undertale#deltarune#you know how fucking cool it is we have popular video games with nonbinary protags????#and tons more nonbinary npcs??#and then a fairly large portion of these fan bases are like um excuse me they/them means i get to decide#and then w deltarune toby made sure to use kris's pronouns a ton and really establish theyre not a player self insert#and it still flew over ppls heads its wild#like if you cant simply use the correct pronouns for a video game character what does that say for how you treat real people#even if they made the characters gender ambiguous to appeal to a wider audience they still are who they are ya kno?#and these characters using they/them is a big deal and important to a lot of people#theres already tons of posts made abt this and the tags of all of them are full of ppl that felt seen#or that these characters helped them feel comfortable w their identity#so if using the correct pronouns for some pixels is hard how about you get to practicing#because there are real people that are owed that respect#you can reblog but dont clown#and ofc feel free to add more characters#.txt
