#fire emblem#fe17#fire emblem engage#it was this scene in particular that made it clear that alear NEEDS to be woken up or they will literally just. keep sleeping. forever#since he was SO late they slept until evening#also the concept of alear's designated wake-up person oversleeping THEMSELVES is funny okay?#and then he has a vision of vander scolding him and panics. it's freaking FUNNY and CUTE okay?#and his delivery is just so great for the whole scene#'sorry to be late. i... overslept. (small pause). it is evening'#THAT'S NOT JUST A LITTLE LATE MY DUDE#also for the record most of his other wake-up events are great too!#and he probably has my favorite batch overall. other standouts are pandreo and fogado#i committed myself to watching ALL the wake-up events for everyone since i'll miss a lot in my personal playthrough#(plus the secret post-pact ring scenes help indicate how romantic each relationship is which will help me determine who to give it to)
