Reading a very frustrating celebrity x regular person romance novel, and I'm impressed all over again how deftly both To My Stars handled the same subject.

#frustrating because it feels like it could be good if only it was better #like there are many things about it that I like but the actual romance is pretty flat #and the celebrity is... not exactly two dimensional but... out of focus #and the regular person has a similar crisis to Ji Woo but Ji Woo's worked SO much better #to my star #gillianthecat reads books #it's 'the comeback' by lily chu for anyone curious #anyway for some reason i'm legitimately pissed that the book isn't better than it is. which is a silly reaction.#the book doesn't owe me anything. i didn't even pay for it.
