got my first jury duty summons in the mail and hello anxiety
#blogchatter#i went to sleep early yesterday night hoping I'd be over it in the morning but no it's just steadily building up#and now I'm obsessively looking through reddit for detailed blow by blow descriptions of what it's like (hit & miss on how reassuring it is#in between studying what I'm meant to be studying#💀😬🙃#i am both unemployed and living with my mother so I definitely have the time for this#but talking to strangers in that setting sounds pretty intimidating (i'm already super awkward on normal 1:1 interactions)#on the rare occasions they happen#jury deliberations!? being asked questions by attorneys and judges about myself I've rarely thought about?! h e l p
