reasons SPN fans should watch Lucifer:

the latter’s writers aren’t filled with a violent seething hatred for all women

the stories are fun

the actors are sexy

hardly any main, secondary, or recurring characters ever die. no one ever dies without being acknowledged and mourned.

Amenadiel is Castiel. He just is, except played by DB Woodside and therefore usually well-acted. And he ACTUALLY gets that baby you guys are so fond of giving Cas, and actually does cute things with the baby. Also we see his wings - all the time! - and they are very cool.

characters evolve and change and have arcs

our main character is canonically bisexual. it’s not even slightly subtextual.
