Are we suggesting that whatever Ozai does to die also involves tiny Azula transforming? So now they have a dead Fire Lord and a tiny, frightened noodle child to deal with.

Fire Sage 1: We need to get Prince Iroh back.

Fire Sage Koga: ...

Captain Yousuke: ...

[Both look pointedly at aformentioned noodle child]

Fire Sage 1: ...oh shit that's a terrible idea.

Turns out, when your last-surviving legal heir to the throne is also a dragon, inviting the guy famous for killing the very last dragon is probably a bad plan.

(Although if this is the version where Ursa's back at the palace, this is a very good reason why she couldn't get in contact with Zuko. Zuko coming home right then means Iroh follows him, and since Ursa doesn't know differently, she assumes that Iroh will kill Azula to finish the job. Which is obviously completely unacceptable.

So all Ursa can do is hope that Zuko eventually gets away from Iroh's influence for long enough to get the message to him.)
