sometimes i forget why i just eventually gave up just 2 months before the end of my 4th year as co-president of my high school's GSA but then i dip my toe into online discourse and remember, oh right, people brought the dumbass infighting and slur discourse to the irl queer space and none of them actually even cared about doing the real work.

we went from creating real positive change for queer students all over the district as well as in our community to almost nothing.

#i had a mental breakdown and had to leave and still somehow my co-prez and staff supervisor and i got a pride week planned #on our own #venting #like i still get so frustrated about this #it went from a positive space which did a lot of good to just another trigger for my breakdown #and like i'm not a pushover when im in a leadership roll like that i'm very aware of my duty and responsibility #i got shit done when i was on the verge of death (not a joke and not related to my breakdown-my irls from 2015 will remember)#personcole
