like do you know how bad a movie has to be to make me go "the guardians of the galaxy films were actually better + significantly more emotionally resonant than this"
#granted: every thor movie except ragnarok sucks ass#and even though the planet hulk nod was fun bruce banner's presence was also due to prior very bad writing#but like wow that was starlingly but bone-deeply blandly bad#and I was being nice not saying this before but truly this is unreal & v rich coming from taika#given the circumstances of his divorce + the infidelities that led to it incl when his then wife was pregnant & right after having babies#like why are you delivering muppet babies thor to the world at this time sir#and let's not even get into how gotg had better visual fx too bc what the fuck @ that lil floating boy. ikyfl.
