since I’ve been so distracted with other life stuff lately I’ll just come right out and ask - do we know for sure that ncuti’s orange & plaid outfit is the new costume? like did they say that anywhere or could it be like that little photoshoot they did with matt smith in the long coat & karen gillan in the black & yellow stripes, where it was totally in the vein of their characters but not their actual costumes yet?

#sorry im sure this info is available somewhere im just tired & trying to catch up #i think im mainly asking bc it doesn't seem quite as finished as a costume just looking at it #like it totally works as an outfit but it's missing something if it's the costume #i know it wouldn't be the plainest dr outfit ever but still #the orange and the plaid speak to a different kind of character than say the oversized leather jacket 9 had -#and it's not the kind of characterization that accessories would be antithetical to either so im like #where are they?
