work got out 4 hours early 🙃
#the hits just keep on coming#the time sheets were due yesterday even though the week wasn't over#and my supervisor had me put down the whole 8:45-4:15 time so she could approve it#so this means that these four hours I didn't work today because the professor decided to let out super fucking early#are going to come out of next week's paycheck#and since they only scheduled me for four hours next week#I won't get paid at all#and if you're saying 'wow lena that sounds super sketchy'#you'd be right! it does sound super sketchy!!#that's how working as a student assistant at a university works I guess!!!!#if this position didn't end in a month I'd literally quit today#unfortunately $40 a week while I look for a job is better than nothing#I'm definitely not coming back here to get my master's though‚ I can say that much for sure#this plus the continued pay drama at the other position#I'm not happy today lmao#I'm gonna eat and then take a nap#I hope this other job that I maybe got accepted for treats me better#it's part-time but like. anything is better than this shit right?
