Technus curses Danny after he spends a little too long in Soup Jail.

Until Danny can break the curse, every piece of technology he touches will react badly-come to life, try to eat him, send his embarrassing Facebook photos to all his coworkers, delete his high score on Doomed, etc. He’s miserable.

And because he uses technology quite often to help him with his rogues, Danny has had to do things the old fashioned way by physically manhandling all the ghosts that come through the portal. It’s been putting a damper on everyone’s moods, but Technus refuses to release the curse.

(At least he can turn intangible, so the buildings he visits don’t try to burn him alive. Technically, he’s not touching anything!)

Danny’s coworkers eventually get involved when Victor Stone, AKA Cyborg, locks eyes with him at a Justice League meeting and immediately tries to shoot him.

“Not every villain needs to be complex” is the most annoying complaint because people think you’re saying everyone needs some justification for their actions when in reality you’re just annoyed that the author framed a traumatized child as evil from birth when the entire point of the story so far is that no one is just randomly evil from birth.

Gosh, I flipping hate when authors give characters backstories that amount to “btw this person was evil all along from the very beginning” when you can clearly see that’s not the case and could never be the case.

Nah because I do believe that the family does care about Shouto, and like I said in that ask caring/worrying about one person doesn’t mean you don’t care/worry for the other.

However, I do agree the lack of comfort for Shouto from his family since the start of the war, well it’s rather disappointing I won’t lie and the one comfort we might have gotten was off-screen! Yes I’m talking about his reunion with his mother, off-screened in favour of Enji’s crying face! Nonetheless, I do agree there though the comfort is lacking, and if we don’t get them comforting him at some point by the end of the war. I’m going to be quite upset 😭 because he needs it!

Lol just thinking about the “Cangel came out of nowhere in season 3 and there was absolutely no build-up” narrative when there was such organic and gentle undertones throughout the second half of season 2. Let’s just think about how our man Angel was down and out when he thought he lost Cordelia—he was so despondent when she said they weren’t friends; when she told him how he hurt her. I’m sorry but his reaction was NOT platonic. He HAD to make things right with her like he bought her a WHOLE new wardrobe! Mr. LIVE THE MISSION AND NOTHING ELSE WENT SHOPPING. And his smile and joy when she was so ecstatic! He was so relieved! And don’t even get me started on his clear disappointment when he realized Cordelia wasn’t saying she was in love with HIM in Plrtz Glrb he was low-key (high-key) feeling dejected. Idk I think it’s pretty clear what was happening but maybe that’s just me.
