#trek#kira nerys#star trek ds9#inktober 2021#all art#i do not like this but.#1st idea was to draw odo's bucket (his vessel) 2nd idea was to draw the escape pod from ent 'oasis' with archer + phlox#them opening that escape pod is such a fascinating interaction though it only lasts a few seconds#phlox urges archer to consider that it's someone's 'final resting place' and asks what he can possibly gain from disturbing it#and archer (who needs to know what's going on with the people they've found on this planet) opens it anyway#which of course you understand as a matter of security/protecting the ship/crew but. very much an argument of what is moral vs what is#necessary#and to what extent explorers can chose moral/respectful actions when their lives are in danger#anyway. i fucking love that scene BUT there isnt a good reference shot of it in the show so i dont really. know what the pod looks like#and i couldn't find any design schematics/diagrams on any of the dorky little trek sites so.#kira!!!#also remembering how often i really dislike the inktober drawings i do each year... hard to draw well every day!!!!!#my not art#inktober
