#idk i just feel sliiiightly weird abt ppl being like 'this money couldve gone to sport instead of art'#like. ok i googled the movie it is basically a brad pitt vanity project and he's a shithead#but idkkkkk. i just have weird feelings given the State of Film Industry. abt being like 'well this couldve funded teams'#yeah it's an overinflated as fuck budget for a movie that seems like it might be in production hell#but that money does pay like. your broke camera operator number 4. or whatever. like we all saw the strikes. right?#also. see: andretti for how f1 feels abt new teams. lol.#like i dont think money going into film should go into the oil sport. that's what the oil baron money is for. or whatever.#and hell some of that budget is feeding back into the sport??? given the 'realism' theyre investing in?
