#specifically i saw a post going around about how silly it was for people in their twenties to be scared of aging?#and. hard agree#a big eyeroll @ my peers who are like. oh no my back hurts just send me to the glue factory now#and also a big hug bc it's scary. there's no fighting time#u gotta submit to the inexorable force even if it's taking u where u don't wanna go#i feel that fear acutely myself in the neverland my disability built for me#missing all those milestones. ppl my age getting careers and promotions and houses#some getting happily married and having kids though i think i'll opt out of that one forever pls and thx#i'm still sitting at the starting line and wondering if i'll ever catch up#but i think it's given me a different perspective and a chance to come to terms with it#i'm getting older (neutral)#we all are.#ANYWAY the actual story here is#the post also talks about connecting with people who are older than you#and the other day i was hanging out with a guy who made a comment like#he's happy to have gray hairs growing in in his beard he thinks it looks great#and he'll be able to finish out his thirties with daddy vibes#and i think this guy has figured it all out i think he has found The attitude#like. hell yes. i too am looking forward to facing my forties with grays in my beard and daddy vibes
