it was a small protestant school run entirely by weirdos 😔
#I'm not saying that to be flippant the people in charge of that school were genuinely so weird#especially the basketball coach whose entire life revolved around a) basketball b) convincing students to play basketball#and c) enforcing the dress code and 'appropriate' conduct with a fervor that always hovered on the edge of creepy#as students we delighted in finding loopholes to his increasingly restrictive rules to torment him#the art teacher was the only one who was weird in a good way I loved that guy
