Okay onto the HC. Eggabell Is a really neat character and I love her, just darn, do I wish we had more screentime with her and Liz... Bugsnax 2 where it's just a cute, domestic, food-monster, lesbian, visual novel would make me happy...

Okay, first one, Liz is Def not Egg’s first GF, she dated a few medical professionals, and some medical students when she was in college. But they never lasted long. I get the impression she was really, unhappy in her job, probably a lot of red tape and insurance issues getting in the way of her doing what she went to school for (helping people) Made her a little jaded in the System. I imagine she had to pull some strings to get Liz the treatment she needed (I’m basing this off the HORRID American Health Insurance system btw like, that stuff sounds so demoralizing, But i’m not a medical professional so if i’m wrong about anything let me know.) 

I imagine she’s suffered from depression her whole life, often it made some of her previous not as attentive partners just say some really rude or unfair things to her. ‘Are you EVEN trying to make this relationship work?’ ‘Why are you sad! I do so much for you.’

She finds it ironic that medical professionals were that ignorant about mental Illness, but Lizbert who literally took a first aid class once and that's IT, is way more intentive and understanding. 

Also, get the impression she’s been a big people pleaser since she was a child, I get the vibe she was the responsible big sister who always looked out for her younger siblings, and was the designated ‘mom’ friend in her friend groups, she always wanted to just make everyone feel better, I get the feeling if she couldn’t help someone it ate her up inside.

Basically, Eggabell just tries so hard to make everyone else she loves happy she kinda forgets to take care of herself. (I mean this just from the fact she camped out on a mountain for weeks looking for Liz before giving up on her... like oof... q~q they love each other so much...)
