My Dream

A designer’s goal is to maintain a certain level of decency and popularity in the fashion industry; To expand and contribute towards the fashion industry. The best time to invent a product is during a recession because of the decline in the economy. When there is a decline, there are people who had lost their jobs due to the company failing to reach their goals or the person failed to reach the company’s expectations. It becomes a positive influence because once someone becomes unemployed, they will most likely want to become their own boss or the boss of others. Creativity is likely to rise as well. That is what I want out of life - it is to not have to take steps up a ladder behind others who were there already in front of me trying to get to aq level just like me, not knowing how far they can even get for an amount of time. Every life situation I have been in gave me pieces of ideas that I can bring to life and make a tremendous amount of money off of these ideas. 

Growing up, I always saw patterns and certain fabric materials that I liked so it’s pretty easy for me to come up with new and approved ideas of clothes that others have not already made. Like all clothing lines - there's typical age for whom can were what from that particular brand but I want my line to be a universal line meaning it is meant for every gender and age. If I could compare my ideal clothing store, it wouldn't be a department store but it would be pretty close to how Brandy Melville uniqueness in styles. I’ve always shopped from their online store because I love the vintage style, I was born in 1998 but I still like to prefer myself as a 90’s baby because the 90s was the best time to be a child with all of the new inventions that were coming out in style. Brandy Melville sells clothes from basic crops to retro vintage printed pants. Another store that can be compared to my ideal clothing store is Constructed for women (CW). CW stands by the idea that women should demand the spotlight to be on them and to be proud and feel good about themselves. The owner of CW is an Instagram influencer who is self-made - her name is Joanna Diimes and she is running her online business by herself. She hires other influencers to model her products not only for the company’s use on the site’s page but also sends them free products to sponsor her on their social media pages so that the model’s fanbase can buy Diime’s products. Diimes always inspired me just by how shes self-employed and going about starting her own company the way that she did - made me learn valuable tips and tricks that I can use later for myself.  There are certain types of clothing that speaks to everyone in different ways. 

People use clothing to show their inner personalities, moods, and beliefs. Potentially to inspire others to dress out of their comfort zones. Although, Fall is my ultimate favorite season. It is considered as our “sweater weather” and I want to introduce a clothing line based upon fall year-round. Specifically for women to feel empowered and comfortable at the same time. I feel as if not many stores describe themselves to be suited for a particular season either so my ideal clothing line will have its own uniqueness. The best name that I can come up with for my future clothing line is Bramble. After googling well-known words used to describe the fall season, bramble was one of the options based on the bramble flower since it grows during the fall. I want women around the world to feel adored, cozy and warm, and be able to stand out wearing my products.

There is a lot of sewing that isn't always addressed or explained for reasons that are complex. At some point, every child now is obligated to take certain field topic classes like drivers ed and sewing class. I paid attention very well in both classes because I knew that these topics were very important for me to know. Not only the materials and tools are needed to start sewing, but also the measurements and the blueprints to cut out the fabric for certain parts of the clothes. I sketched my ideal designs out for women’s fashion tops and bottoms in details since I realized that I wanted to create my own clothing line I have not been able to start sewing anything yet. My drawings go way back to my early high school days. Left alone discovered a great name to best represent my company for what it stands for which is the love for the fall season - I was thinking about the name bramble or marigold like the plant that grows in the fall. It takes a certain amount of effort and risk to fully commit to building a business to just forget everything you learned up to this point. A person must stay positive and motivated in order to keep up the mindset of an entrepreneur but also a multimillionaire. Follow a rich person’s path and learn how they earned the amount of money they make, it'll get a poor person out of debt and live a better worry-free life.

Nothing is promised as far as job security goes so to not have to rely on anyone or a system to choose how much I make and how much time I get to earn my income will be the day that I become free. It’s expensive at first to create a business especially if you want to have an actual store. When it comes to retail, an online store is definitely an advantage to use at the beginning so that it will be one less bill a person will have to pay on top of the monthly bill just to keep your business ownership and entrepreneurship. The Bramble clothing line I want to create will represent myself as a person, as far as what I'm into and what I think would make the perfect top, bottom, or undergarments.
