the worst thing about trying to give every jane austen protagonist a bad carbon copy of elizabeth bennet’s judgy wit
is that not even pride & prejudice thinks that behaviour of hers is entirely a good thing?
Like?? half of lizzy’s entire character arc is realizing that her judgy wit that she always congratulated herself on was based on really shaky foundations?? because she’s not nearly as good a judge of character as she believed, and that it’s actually kind of a character flaw motivated by the TITULAR combination of faults??? that she has as much pride & prejudice as she accuses others of having? & that she needs to let go of that a bit, in order to have better relationships with the people around her???

Pondering Kusuriuri's height. This sketch from the 2017 art book (which I think is for DVD disc art) has him a little taller than Genyousai, but the geta have to add 4 inches at the very least. I've always estimated his barefoot height at about 5'6" or 5'7" (~168-170 cm) because it never seems like he's teeny tiny, and also for the slightly silly reason that I think he should be a little taller than I am (because at 5'3" I'm pretty short).

Hi! Sorry, could you tell me why is supernatural trending? And in fist place at that??
it's the fifteenth anniversary of the episode 4x01 lazarus rising so it's only fitting for spn to rise from the dead. essentially 15 years since castiel first appeared on the show. why it's trending in first place - i have no idea unfortunately, i would love to know the exact mechanics though

Do you think the Medicine Seller ever tries to do things in a non-sexy way and just... can't? Like...
Medicine Seller: Now to enter this train car in a normal and unsexy manner.
(He flings open the door, hair and robes billowing in the wind, fixing the occupants with a penetrating glare)
(Girlies swoon)
Medicine Seller: Damnit.
Or in the movie...
Medicine Seller: Now to normally and unprovocatively touch my backpack.
(He strokes the backpack tenderly like a lover.)
(Girlies lose it.)
Medicine Seller: Oh, for...
