There's a lot of modern interpretations of Persephone yearning for Hades when they're separated for the seasons. These are all beautiful and 100% valid. Who doesn't enjoy a good "star-crossed lovers parted by fate" trope?
But where's the moments when Persephone also misses Demeter? Her husband's embraces are intensively loving, yet cold and possessive. Sometimes Persephone longs for the familiar, tender warmth of her mother. Those times when the gloom of the Underworld creeps into her, and she aches for her mother's lush, fertile fields. Hades takes in her love, while Demeter replenishes her. Hades made her a queen, but first she was a cherished child. Both her lover and her mother went to great lengths to have her by their side, and both deserve to be acknowledged.
Persephone went on to have children of her own, and stepped into the role of a mother herself. She would have gained a new insight into her situation, and could have seen things from Demeter's point of view. Did she gaze upon her children with doting maternal love, and understood how far a parent would go for their child? Did Persephone wish for her guidance to become as devoted and nurturing a mother as she was? Did she bring her children up to meet their grandmother, who also held them darling? Did she encourage them to make garlands the way Demeter taught her, of poppies and narcissus, to gift and honour their Mámmi?
Like Hekate, Persephone also wears many crowns, and each is equally important. Hers is a different journey into womanhood. She's a married woman, yes, but it's also normal to want to be reminded that she's always Mama's precious child, too. The key is balance, which is necessary for a nature deity such as she.
So let Persephone hug and reunite with Demeter in the spring, with just as much joy and adoration as when she rejoins Hades in autumn. She's surrounded by love in so many forms, all the year round, as are we all.

Cyprus is the place of birth of the goddess Aphrodite. Ever since I arrived on the island, I felt a special kind of energy, something deeply feminine and sensual in the air. On our last day we visited the ruins of an ancient sanctuary near Pafos, and the rock visible in the second picture - it's the exact place where she was born from the sea foam. I wore my best pink dress, pearl jewelry and roses in my hair and brought an offering of flowers to this special place. We got into the azure sea at sunset with a faint moon above us on the sky. I've never been in waters that deep in my life, but I felt safe, being carried on the waves that carried the gods millennia ago. People from all around the world were creating heart-shaped stone structures on the beach. It looked lovely, like a volatile altar. We made our heart close to the sea, and left the flowers there for her, so it could be devoured by the sea by morning. I don't really know what powers I believe or not, or which myths are true, but I willingly opened myself to this special kind of magic, and it was an enchanting experience. This memory will stay in my heart in a shape of white stones covered by the fragrant roses 🌹🐚

HECATE Ancient goddess of magic, rituals, hearth, crossroads, thresholds and transitions, and the guardian of the gates between the world.
She has many symbols and many sides to her - for my interpretation I focused on her connection to the underworld.
Available as a print and phone wallpaper.

Pygmalion (Orube) and Galatea (Cedric)
1) What would a portrait/sculpture of your character look like? 2) You are in the image of a mythological character (you can add several characters for the plot)
I answer on behalf of Cedric in "ASK W.I.T.C.H". I'll try to show you the answers with him. English is not my native language, so there may be mistakes. Please be understanding.
-------------------------------------------
the myth of Pygmalion and Galatea
The talented sculptor could not find love among real people in any way. But in his head lived the image of the ideal woman for him.
The man worked day and night, carving it out of stone. She turned out exactly as he saw her. So beautiful, as if she's about to come to life.
But the stone cannot come to life by itself. Therefore, the sculptor turned to Aphrodite, the goddess of love. She felt that the man was guided by a sincere feeling. Therefore, she responded to the call. When Pygmalion returned from the temple, the statue came to life, becoming his beloved Galatea.
-------------------------------------------
(next comes the explanation of the idea, it contains spoilers for the comic)
Orube was grieving over Cedric's death. And with all her heart she wanted to bring him back to the world of the living. I don't know why, when I first saw the question about the statue, this image immediately appeared in my head. Who knows, maybe the magic of the Meridian or the Basiliade allows you to animate statues. I think Orube would definitely try. I want to believe that this story would have a happy ending.
-------------------------------------------
For the first time I draw a comic's Cedric. For the first time I draw Orube. And in general, I'm trying a new approach to drawing for myself. I hope you enjoy it.

Lilith holds the keys to female liberation and sexual equality
I’ve been thinking about Lilith, and how deeply I relate to her for fleeing a relationship where she wasn’t allowed to be on top; both in literal sexual terms, and also in metaphorical terms that I’m sure pervaded all aspects of her days with the mythical head of patriarchy, Adam from the Bible. Having Black Moon Lilith in Libra and also in the placidus 7th house of my natal chart, has brought…
