Friendly reminder that:
The concept of starseeds promotes ableism by minimizing or denying ADHD and autism.
The ancient astronaut hypothesis promotes spiritual colonialism and destruction of other cultures by twisting other people's mythologies and sacred texts to fit their narratives.
The reptilian alien mythology is based on conspiracy theories historically used to justify oppressing and murdering real people. Loosh/blood/adrenochrome harvesting is just repackaged blood libel.
New Age mythology is chock full of repackaged right wing conspiracy theories, the same kind pushed by QAnon.
It's also full of repackaged racist pseudoscience about genetic superiority/inferiority and the function of evolution.
Ascension to 5D was supposed to have happened back in 2012, and the prediction failed.
New Agers are recycling their predictions over and over to catch new waves of people who don't know the movement's history.
Belief in Atlantis is strongly motivated by white supremacy.

Not too long ago, I needed an AAAA battery for some reason. I had never heard of AAAA batteries and started to wonder just how deep the rabbit hole went. Are there AAAAAAAAAAAAA batteries out there? Why have I never seen one? Maybe they are too tiny to see and are sold primarily to power ants' Walkmans.
So, I looked and....
...
...
...
...
AAAA is as far as they go.
Research, occasionally, has a way of sucking the fun out of a perfectly good question.

Listen, I know I said last time I wouldn't take long for my next post and I didn't deliver, so this time I'm posting 2 paradoxes in the same post to make it up to you, and hopefully I won't forget to post for another month next time
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anyways, I present to you Primordial Gene and Iron Idol, both paradoxes for some mythical pokemon because that's what I wanted the last 2 of the first batch to be. First of them is Primordial Gene, a true paradox since Deoxys isn't supposed to be a thing until more recent times.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Primordial Gene is inspired by various things, the main being the RNA World hypothesis, which states that RNA came before DNA and that was one of the things that eventually led up to the origin of life.
Tumblr media
Another inspiration for it is the Xenomorph, yall already probably know what a Xenomorph is so I'm not gonna go into detail, but also it's based on the Ancient Astronaut conspiracy theories, saying that aliens came to Earth in ye good ol' times when humanity was young or something. Anyways, moving on with Iron Idol, the Future Paradox of Meloetta
Tumblr media Tumblr media
As you can probably tell, Iron Idol is pretty much based on our queen and savior Hatsune Miku, but it's also based on other concepts such as VTubers, modern idols and electronic stuff that aid them, like microphones and speakers.
Tumblr media
Iron Idol is also kinda based on rythm games, as the dots on its "hair" move in a similar way to games like Guitar Hero or the one with the piano tiles on mobile. And as always, here are the cries for both of them
Anyways, that's it from me for now, hopefully I don't take like an entire month to post again, stay safe everyone ✌

Four stars—Rigel, Betelgeuse, Bellatrix, and Saiph—form a large roughly rectangular shape, at the center of which lies the three stars of Orion's Belt—Alnitak, Alnilam, and Mintaka. His head is marked by an additional 8th star called Meissa, which is fairly bright to the observer.
Orion’s belt aligned with the Giza pyramids.

Gordon Creighton’s Insight: The UFO Phenomenon and Multidimensional Mysteries
In 1977, Gordon Creighton, a British diplomat with an extensive background in observing Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs), provided a groundbreaking interview that offered a unique perspective into the mysterious world of UFOs and their potential links to human origins and multidimensional beings. With over three decades dedicated to the study of this phenomenon, Creighton’s insights have significantly contributed to the understanding of a subject that has long fascinated and perplexed humanity.
Gordon Creighton, proficient in ten languages and with a career in diplomacy, approached the study of UFOs with a scholarly and credible methodology. His journey in this field began with a personal sighting in China in 1941, an experience that ignited his lifelong pursuit to decipher the nature of these enigmatic objects and entities. His home, filled with files and documents, stands as a testament to his relentless dedication to this cause.
A pivotal aspect of Creighton’s research is the global scope of UFO sightings, suggesting a phenomenon that transcends geographical and cultural boundaries. He highlighted various cases, such as the 1955 Hopkinsville encounter in Kentucky, where a family reported an attack by small, alien-like beings, and an incident in Cordoba, Argentina, involving a large, humanoid figure causing electrical disturbances. These cases, often supported by physical evidence and multiple eyewitness accounts, point to a tangible and verifiable phenomenon.
Creighton’s perspective on the nature of these beings is multifaceted. He proposed the existence of multiple realities or dimensions, a hypothesis that resonates with certain Eastern spiritual beliefs and offers an alternative to the extraterrestrial hypothesis. This concept challenges conventional understanding of reality, suggesting that human perception only grasps a fraction of a complex cosmic reality.
He also emphasized the significant physical and psychological effects these encounters have on individuals, noting instances of radiation burns, disappearances, and physiological changes in witnesses. Creighton was careful to differentiate these from mental illness, implying a tangible external influence.
Another provocative aspect of Creighton’s theory is the implication of advanced beings in human evolution. He posited that humanity’s development might not be solely a result of natural evolution, but also influenced by interventions from superior entities. This concept of “cosmic engineering” aligns with ancient astronaut theories and hints at a profound and ancient connection between humans and these mysterious visitors.
Creighton also delved into the controversial topic of governmental awareness and secrecy regarding UFOs. He suggested that governments, including his own, might be privy to these phenomena but opt for nondisclosure to the public, a stance he perceived as a precautionary measure against something deeply unfamiliar and potentially unsettling.
Expanding further, Creighton discussed the presence of various groups of beings, possibly up to eight distinct types, visiting Earth, each with different intentions and levels of benevolence. This diversity points to a complex cosmic or interdimensional ecosystem, with Earth playing a significant role.
In summary, Gordon Creighton’s 1977 interview offers profound insights into the UFO phenomenon, melding diplomatic rigor with an openness to extraordinary possibilities. His work challenges traditional views of reality, encouraging consideration of the potential multidimensional nature of these entities and our position in a vast, interconnected cosmos. Creighton’s contributions have not only been pivotal in the field of ufology but also invite reflection on broader questions regarding our origins, the nature of our reality, and the essence of existence.

Visitors from the stars have been manifesting to men for quite a long time indeed. Were they extraterrestrial visitors or rather terrestrial people belonging to an ancient civilization of astronauts? With a total lack of courage, science chooses to ignore this and look in another direction.
All over the world there are evidences of visitors from space. Some date from the Neolithic, some are even older. On this thorny issue as on many others, archaeologists observe an utter cowardice.
We have also seen that in this case anthropologists are not much better. Science believes man most recent than he really is. To avoid the assumption of a very old technology that collides with the taboos of the most conservative scientists, we have seen how the Russian archaeologists, beyond shame, had used the extraterrestrial hypothesis. A Russian scientific report had referred to a UFO crash in the middle of prehistory! It must be said that the Russians are less uptight than us…
We have also seen, in Scotland, the extraordinary case of Kingoodie hammer, which would date of the dinosaurs too. The photos of the hammer in question were all published on our site. We saw the Antikythera computer, discovered there are more than a century, thousands of years old, and an unimaginable complexity that many researchers are still studying. We saw above all how little importance these evidence have in a profession paralyzed by the dogmas and anathemas.

why study mars but not the planet we live on?
Yes, I do study Mars, but it is a huge misunderstanding on your part if you think I do not also study Earth—the planet we know best. Geology, at its core, is the study of the Earth’s structure, materials, and processes that have shaped the planet over time.
Before one can study the geology of another planet or planetary body, one must have a fundamental understanding of the Earth’s geology, because the same processes that have worked on our planet over time, have also impacted the Moon, the terrestrial planets, and even some asteroids. It would be impossible to study the formation and emplacement of martian rocks without knowing how similar rocks are emplaced on Earth. Our understanding of the other planets and the Solar System all began with the study of the Earth.
Now, as to why I study Mars? I could go on and on, but one of the main reasons is studying Mars helps us better understand the Earth. Yes, we study other planets to learn more about our own and the formation of the Solar System. Our current picture of the Solar System and Universe would be vastly incomplete if we had not sent missions to other planets, planetary bodies, and deep space.
Mars offers geologists a chance to study numerous geologic processes that have been incredibly preserved for billions of years. Earth has plate tectonics, where the crust is created and destroyed, meaning we do not have any crust, save for a few cratons and areas of oceanic crust around the world, which is older than ~340 million years old. Mars does not have plate tectonics, and the primary crust that formed very early in Mars’ history still exists, which provides the opportunity to study the formation and evolution of an ancient crust that has all but been destroyed on Earth. Not to mention studying martian meteorites gives us a window into the planet’s interior—core formation, mantle sources, crustal processes—allowing us to interpret how similar Mars is to Earth and how their evolutions have been similar and different through time.
Studying Mars also serves as a case study of what Earth could potentially look like once the outer core crystallizes, the mantle cools to a point where plate tectonics cannot be sustained, and our magnetic field is lost (assuming the Sun doesn’t die before then). Mars is a smaller body than the Earth (~50% the size), and though there’s evidence for recent eruptions (as young as 2.5 Ma, but this is still debated), Mars no longer has a magnetic field, having lost it nearly 4 Ga, which means the atmosphere has been stripped away by solar wind, leaving a thin carbon dioxide-rich atmosphere. Exposure to the Sun’s harsh radiation would have also stripped Mars’ surface of water. Mars also allows geologists and climatologists alike the opportunity to study momentous shifts in climate capable of fundamentally altering planets (climate change, anyone?).
One of the more popular reasons to study Mars is to learn about the origin of life, which, uncoincidentally, directly impacts you! Early Mars was vastly different from the ‘dead’ planet we see today in images from orbiters, rovers, and landers. Early Mars had water (perhaps even an ocean in the northern hemisphere), a hospitable climate, a thicker atmosphere, and the potential to harbor life. The first life recorded on Earth appears at ~3.7 Ga in the geologic record. If life existed on Mars, it would have been during the Noachian period 4.7 to 4.1 billion years ago—before life emerged on Earth. Could it be that life on Earth was seeded by martian meteorites? It could be. There is a similar hypothesis that proposes water on Earth was delivered by comets and meteorites. How do we go about beginning to answer the questions about life and water? We study Mars!
We’ve sent man to the Moon and are set to do it again, but what’s one of the penultimate goals of space travel? Going to Mars! Before we ever strap astronauts into a rocket and ship them off to the Red Planet, we have to understand the conditions there to minimize the risk to our explorers. Robotic missions not only do valuable science analyzing rocks and the weather and the interior structure of the planet, but they’re also scouts for us—finding potential resources and hazards. The first time we go to Mars will be tricky, and we need to do everything we can to make sure the astronauts have the resources they need to survive the trip there and back.
Other reasons to study Mars? It’s just really cool! Scientists once thought the formation and evolution of Mars were simple. The planet accreted, differentiated into a core, mantle, and crust, the interior cooled, and became, for all intents and purposes, geologically dead. But that is far from the case. With each new meteorite we find and each new mission to Mars, it’s clear this previous school of thought is completely wrong. There are diverse mineralogies not present in meteorites, fluvial deposits, aeolian dunes, the largest impact site in the Solar System (Borealis Basin), gigantic volcanoes two-and-half times taller than Mt. Everest that would cover France (Olympus Mons), and a trench (Valles Marineris) four times deeper than the Grand Canyon that could span the contiguous United States.
I could continue to go on and on, but in summary: 1) you have to be well-versed in Earth's geology before you even begin to study the geology of another planet, 2) Mars allows us to look at ancient processes that are not observable here on Earth because of plate tectonics but very likely occurred, 3) Mars had the potential for life early in its history, and one of the biggest scientific questions revolves around the origin of life, 4) if we want to go to Mars one day, we have to study it well before we strap someone in a rocket, and 4) Mars is just really fucking cool and if you don't think space and other planets are cool, then the education system has failed.

Looks like it's time to talk about starseeds and the New Age movement again.
Since I'm seeing more starseed content being posted, I'm gonna make another post on why the whole starseed thing and the surrounding New Age belief system are... not good.
So for those who don't know, New Age mythology is essentially a hodgepodge of cherrypicked and distorted myths from various cultures, racist pseudohistory, and far right conspiracy theories. To put it very briefly, starseeds are supposedly here to help Earth resist the reptilians, a race of politics-manipulating, war-starting, media-controlling blood-drinking aliens. For those who don't recognize the tropes here, these are basically all antisemitic canards. The reptilian alien myth as most know it today comes from David Icke, who ultimately cribbed a bunch of his material from The Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion, a Russian hoax created to justify violence against Jews. He was also influenced by the work of people like Fritz Springmeier, a hateful crank who based much of his work on other hateful cranks.
(David Icke, by the way, also claims that transgender is an evil reptilian conspiracy. You'll never find just one form of bigotry with these people.)
There are supposedly numerous alien races out there, and one of the most prominent among them are the Pleiadians, AKA Nordics. While modern depictions of the Pleiadians give them more variety in skintone, there's no denying that older Pleiadian mythology basically pictured them as Aryans In Space, even associating them with the swastika.
You see what's going on here? "Good" swastika-loving Aryan aliens versus "evil" Jewish aliens? Sound familiar?
Racism isn't just a tangential part of the starseed myth, either. It lies at its very core. It's inextricably tied in with the ancient astronaut hypothesis, which has a history of racist motivation behind it. The TL;DR is that a bunch of white people couldn't believe that non-white people had built a bunch of things they couldn't figure out how to build themselves (EG, the Great Pyramids), so they proposed that the real builders were anyone from Atlanteans to aliens. (Atlantis, by the way, never existed; it was a literary device created by Plato.)
One supposed purpose of starseeds is to help the world "wake up to the truth," which basically just means "convert people to New Age spirituality." New Age believes that world peace is contingent on a majority of the world being converted to New Age belief, and that resistance against their belief system is ultimately the work of the aforementioned reptilian aliens.
To put it another way, New Agers think they understand other cultures' spiritual traditions better than the actual members of said cultures, and think that anyone who disagrees with them is being manipulated by the conspiracy, or is an agent of the conspiracy. This includes Indigenous cultures which are already endangered from white Christian colonialism.
Essentially, endangered cultures cannot speak up for themselves and resist New Agers' efforts at cultural assimilation without being labeled a problem and an enemy. It's basically white Christian colonialism repackaged as "spiritual, not religious."
Again - if you heard from these people that some ancient text or myth describes extraterrestrial beings visiting our planet for one reason or another, you heard misinformation. They twist and misrepresent literally every myth and text they get their hands on. For example, you may have heard that the vimanas from Hindu traditions were actually alien spacecraft. They were no such thing. Or maybe you heard that the Book of Enoch describes aliens performing genetic experimentation on humans. It literally does not. At best, all of the stories they cite just kind of sound like aliens if you ignore most of their content and pay no attention to their cultural contexts.
The starseed movement preys on alienated people, especially autistic people and people with ADHD. You can look up nearly any list of signs that you're supposedly a starseed, and many of them will align perfectly with characteristics associated with autism and/or ADHD, or that people with these conditions commonly report. Some people within the movement even go so far as to claim that ADHD and autism don't even exist, but were actually made up by the conspiracy as a cover to suppress and control starseeds, which is some yikes-as-hell ableism.
So basically, people are being told that if they have these certain characteristics or symptoms, that means it's their job to spread New Age spirituality to defeat the conspiracy and help others ascend to the fifth density.
And what's the fifth density, you might ask? It's supposedly humanity's next evolutionary level, because New Age is also based on biological misconceptions. Supposedly once everyone's DNA "upgrades," they'll essentially morph into an aetheric form. Supposedly, this is preceded by a number of "ascension symptoms," including depression, headache, gastrointestinal issues, and any number of other symptoms that could indicate almost anything, including stress.
What many of these people don't realize is, this prediction has already failed. Back in the 2000s and 2010s, experiencing "ascension symptoms" was supposed to precede ascension to 5D beginning December 21, 2012. One lady, Denise Le Fay, was convinced that the hair loss she was experiencing in 2008 was an ascension symptom. As we can see by looking her up, she's very much still with us on the 3D plane these days, repeating the same tired old scripts New Agers recycle endlessly.
By the way, everything you near New Agers saying today about old systems being dismantled, dark forces being arrested or kicked off the planet, and new economic systems on the horizon? They've been recycling these scripts for years now. Take a look at this page written back in 2012. You got stuff about the complete dismantling of an enormous network of sinister forces," "the arrest and removal of a world-wide cabal," and a "new economic system."
("Cabal," by the way, is a dogwhistle term for "Jews.")
Furthermore, people in this movement are often encouraged to try and access past life memories through dreams or hypnosis, which makes the whole thing feel even more real to them. But the thing is, you can have incredibly vivid experiences about literally anything you put your mind to - the people in the reality shifting having vivid experiences of living another life in the Harry Potter universe are a great example of this. Just because you have vivid experiences, doesn't mean they have any bearing on anything happening in this reality.
So yeah, the starseed movement and the larger New Age movement are both extremely harmful. They promote racist pseudohistory, medically-irresponsible pseudoscience, conspiracy theories that target numerous marginalized groups, and functionally target aliened people with ADHD and autism to convince them that spreading its beliefs is their job.

This is why I am constantly fighting these stupid theories and why I do not treat them as silly bullshit. This is why I get angry when people tell me I'm no fun and these are harmless.
They're not. Read this article. tw : racist theories, racism, blood libel, etc. All the funny harmless stuff ancient aliens bring with them.
They're blatantly racist, anti-Semitic, and all the white supremacist list of shit, and they push this agenda into people's heads through the means of "we're not talking about people, we're talking about aliens".
This is why my bullshit-o-meter goes through the roof every time I hear about aliens, UFOs, Hyperborea and Atlantis, and yours should too.

Found on the Moon: Candidate for Oldest Known Earth Rock Video Credit: NASA, Astromaterials 3D, Erika Blumenfeld et al.
Explanation: Was the oldest known rock on Earth found on the Moon? Quite possibly. The story opens with the Apollo 14 lunar mission. Lunar sample 14321, a large rock found in Cone crater by astronaut Alan Shepard, when analyzed back on Earth, was found to have a fragment that was a much better match to Earth rocks than other Moon rocks. Even more surprising, that rock section has recently been dated back 4 billion years, making it older, to within measurement uncertainty, than any rock ever found on Earth. A leading hypothesis now holds that an ancient comet or asteroid impact launched Earth rocks into the Solar System, some of which fell back to the Moon, became mixed with heated lunar soil and other rocks, cooled, and re-fragmented. The video features an internal X-ray scan of 14321 showing multiple sections with markedly different chemistries. Moon rocks will continue to be studied to learn a more complete history of the Moon, the Earth, and the early Solar System. Friday marks the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 14 landing on the Moon.

A thought. One of those horrible, Grinch-smile thoughts.
Tumblr media
Plot twist - it’s actually pretty boring and obvious upon thought, but I haven’t seen it mentioned before. But I’m new; let me know if this is old meta.
Anyway, in the original 80s cartoon the twins Adam “He Man” and Adora “She Ra” are half Terran-human. Because their mother, I am not making this up, was a modern-age astronaut that ended up on the planet Eternia and married the king.
Combined with the meta-theory that human-type Etherians (including most of the royalty seen) are hybrid descendants of the First Ones, while more fantasy-type Etherians are purer descendants of the original natives (since Adora is both First One and human-type)....
We can hazard a hypothesis that the First Ones are actually Terran Humans.
Light Hope never actually agrees to Adora’s “I’m a First One?” question, by the way, going straight into her “Why are you mad, my little red button of doom?” programming. Actually, the dialogue there feels just ambiguous enough to let Adora being half “First One” is still canonically possible; LH never confirms where Adora came from, only “not of Etheria,” and through a portal. Most of the ambiguity is obviously coverup/foreshadowing for LH’s corrupted programming, true. And yes, the sword only “responds to one of their [First One’s] own kind,” but half pure Terran might be enough (compared to the theorized First zone hybrid descendants of Etheria).
So, anyway, I vote that at least one “Manipulative overlord species ruining other people’s home for selfish reasons” is literally us (potentially from magically-powered ancient past, possibly future. We got dimension-wimey balls, they can be time-wimey balls too).
Huge plot twist, huh? 😜
(Now, add “First Ones are literally space-colonizing Earthlings” to the “Is Hordak a colonizer?” rhetoric, for slips and giggles.)

WHO WERE THE IGIGI?
Tumblr media
If you have been studying the ancient astronauts, there are likely a number of terms you have become familiar with: Anunnaki, Nephilim, reptilians.  But one word which you may not be as familiar with is “Igigi” (sometimes also spelled “Igigu”).  This term doesn’t crop up a whole lot in Sumerian and Babylonian lore, but where it does, it has fascinating implications.
Tumblr media
Who or What Were the Igigi?
Simply put, the Igigi seem to have been a lower rank of gods.  They were a servant class which existed before human beings were created.
Occasionally, the term is used synonymously with “Anunnaki,” but this seems to be inappropriate.  Consider the following passage taken from the myth of Atra-Hasis, an Akkadian creation myth and flood story:
When the gods, man-like,
Bore the labour, carried the load, The gods’ load was great, The toil grievous, the trouble excessive. The great Anunnaku, the Seven, Were making the Igigu undertake the toil.
This passage definitely denotes the Igigi as separate from the Anunnaki, and certainly a lower caste of beings.
What is the context of the passage above?  The Igigi were being forced to dig a watercourse.  They got tired of it, so they revolted against Enlil, one of the head Anunnaki.  They burned their tools and surrounded Enlil’s estate.  When the Anunnaki realize that the Igigi are not going to give up the strike, they decide it is time for a new solution to their labor problem—and that solution is the creation of human beings.
Enki, Enlil, and the Creation of Human Beings
Tumblr media
At this point, if you are not all too familiar with Mesopotamian mythology, you probably have a few questions.  Who was Enlil?  Why was all this labor needed?  Where does humanity fit into the picture?
To summarize briefly, the Anunnaki pantheon begins with Anu, the Great Father of the Sky (also “An”).  Anu was originally the supreme ruler of the Mesopotamian gods.  He did have parents, two primordial gods named Kishar and Anshar, but they do not play into this tale.
Anu’s consorts were Ki, the Earth Mother, and Antu, the Great Mother of the Sky.
He bore children by both of them.
Anu and Ki’s son was Enlil, Lord of the Air and Earth, Guardian of the Tablet of Destinies (for a while).  They also had a daughter, Nin-khursag, Lady of the Mountain.
Anu and Antu’s son was Enki, Lord of the Earth and Waters, also called “Ea.”
This made Enki and Enlil half-brothers.
Now you might think that being a god is easy, but apparently maintaining creation takes a lot of work.  That or gods are just really lazy.
Either way, the Anunnaki didn’t want to do it.  So they saddled the lesser gods—the Igigi—with all that toil.
After the Igigi went on strike, the pantheon naturally fell into some pretty heated conflict and disarray.  In a bid to gain power, Enlil offered to solve the problem if in turn the gods would name him their supreme ruler.
At this point, Enki, Enlil’s half-brother, was fast asleep (he must have been quite the heavy sleeper!).  Enlil spoke to Enki’s mother Antu, who was able to speak to Enki in his sleep.  On Enlil’s suggestion, she told him the following:
Oh my son, arise from thy bed, from thy (slumber), work what is wise,
Fashion servants for the Gods, may they produce their (bread?).
Enki then woke up and had a brilliant idea—implanted in his head of course by Enlil.  He was going to create a new race of slaves.
Tumblr media
Gathering clay and mixing it with the blood of the slaughtered god Kingu, Enki crafted human beings.  They replaced the Igigi as the new slaves working for the Anunnaki.
Human beings are noisy creatures however, and Enlil soon tired of them.  He decided to kill them all with the flood of legend—the same that shows up in the Bible and the Epic of Gilgamesh.
Enki wasn’t a fan of this idea, so he warned a man named Utnapishtim about what was coming, and told him to build an Ark.  He then loaded it up with mating pairs of animals and boarded with his wife.  The flood destroyed all other life on earth, but the waters eventually receded.  Utnapishtim then released the animals and the planet was repopulated.
Enlil either was feeling guilty or he admired Utnapishtim, because he later made him and his wife immortal.
So now you know the context of the story of humankind’s creation—and how and where the Igigi fit into it.  As you can see, their role (at least on paper—er, clay) was minor.  You can read more about Enki, Enlil, the creation of human beings, and the flood here.
Was Marduk One of the Igigi?
So your next big question is probably, “But what were the names of the Igigi?”
Sadly it is hard to come up with a lot of decisive answers here, but Marduk almost certainly was one of the Igigi.
Marduk was the patron god of Babylon.  Marduk was Enki’s son (his mother was Damkina).  He is known as “The Avenger.”  As Babylon rose to power in the historical world, so Marduk rose to prominence among the gods.
Marduk’s main significance lies in that rise to power.

Here is the brief version of the story:
At the top of the Anunnaki family tree, Tiamat, the Dragon Mother, and Apsu, her consort, had a falling out regarding the young gods they had created, which led to Tiamat murdering Apsu.  Years later, her bitterness led her to take out her guilt and anger at his death on the young gods.
Tiamat created 11 monsters to wage war against the young gods.  Marduk, like Enlil, made a deal with the gods to elevate him to supreme leader status if he can solve the problem and restore order.
He was able to kill Tiamat in one-on-one combat, as well as her general, Kingu.  You will recall that it was Kingu’s blood which Enki then used to create humans.
Kingu had the Tablet of Destinies, which conferred absolute authority upon Marduk when he seized them.
Now, there is some confusion among believers in the ancient astronaut hypothesis as to whether Marduk was an alien leader or a planet.  So whether or not he was among the Igigi in the extraterrestrial version of the story is debatable.
It depends on whether he was a person or not.  Read more about Marduk here.
The historical evidence that Marduk may have been among the Igigi comes from the Code of Hammurabi.  This famous law code mentions that Marduk was elevated by the Anunnaki from the ranks of the Igigi.
You now are familiar enough with the story of Marduk to know that he was indeed elevated—so it does make sense that he may have been among those lesser gods before he achieved his exalted supreme status.
Other gods that scholars have identified as possibly being Igigi (or both Igigi and Anunnaki) include Ištar, Asarluhi, Naramṣit, Ninurta, Nuska, and Šamaš.
What it might mean to be both Igigi and Anunnaki is not all that clear.  But perhaps Anunnaki refers to a species, and Igigi simply refers to a caste within that species.  So say that Ištar was both.  Going by the extraterrestrial theory, this might mean that she was both a member of the reptilian race (an Anunnaki) and a servant caste within that race (an Igigi).
There appear to be very few references to the Igigi in ancient texts, so it is difficult to research them.  This page over at the University of Pennsylvania contains some pretty thorough references.  Reading through it, you can at least discover a few sources to check out in your own studies.
The Igigi Are One of the Great Anunnaki Mysteries
Tumblr media
Judging by the lack of Igigi references in ancient texts, humanity must have had little or no direct contact with the previous servant caste.  The Igigi may or may not have been a class of Anunnaki, but whoever they were, whatever they were—they faded into the woodwork after human beings were created.
Did they return home to Nibiru?  Did they simply ascend to the same class as their fellow Anunnaki now that a slave race had been created to fill their prior role?  Why don’t we know more about them?  Was knowledge of the Igigi concealed on purpose by the Anunnaki?  If so, why?
Perhaps the only thing we can say for sure about the Igigi aside from the fact  that they were servants to the gods is this: They raise more questions than we can currently answer.

Annunaki
Forbidden Archaeology has researched the history of archaeology for 40-plus years, documenting findings that have been excluded from mainstream, academic archaeology; findings that would disrupt the widely accepted story of human origins.
Cremo, along with author Zecharia Sitchin,  Erich von Däniken  and several others, makes compelling arguments that the Anunnaki were, in fact, off-world beings posing as “gods.” This theory also asserts that these “sky” gods genetically engineered the human race a slave species, which may account for weak links in the evolutionary story.
These theories gave birth to the “ancient astronaut” hypothesis asserting that off-world beings have been posing as gods to influence human affairs for millennia.
