In which Sam is the first member of Team Phantom to encounter the Justice League because she occasionally leaves Amity Park to (take direct action) be a supervillain.
Corporations destroying the environment or abusing animals fear her. She has no fatalities to her name (This is one part morality and two parts practicality. Non-lethal villains tend to be less of a priority and it denies her opponents a method to smear her causes.) but is wanted for massive property damage.
She does this by turning into a dragon. Specifically a black and purple dragon wearing an gold and green amulet.
The Justice League thinks she's a magic user because the amulet she wears is recognized as the one of the long lost Amulets of Aragon.
Tucker is her main backup: making sure they are targeting the right places and occasionally leaking incriminating information they come across, along with using the security systems to help check that the buildings are clear of people before bringing them down.
Danny is her emergency back up, ready to pull her out if something goes really wrong, but otherwise not getting involved.

At last, here she is in all her glory! Princess Dorathea in her ghostly dragon form! In life, she and her brother were both in fact a golden dragons like their family crest. However, Dorathea mainly enjoyed the freedom transforming into a dragon gave her to fly wherever she wanted to and perch on top of a high mountain peak. The amulet also changes shape to fit snugly around her neck in this form to reduce the risks of it falling off mid-flight.

DPxDC Prompt
A new hero is being integrated into the JLA, they are brought to the watchtower for orientation and to meet their fellow heroes. They are a new face not well known even though they have been a hero for over 5 years, the only reason they are being brought in now instead of earlier is because of a mix of magic and tech that created a black out around their town.
They are apparently from a dimension called the Infinite Realms and beyond their alien appearance their only listed power was dragon shifting.
Danny should probably be used to Clockwork's trials by now but this one is a bit more elaborate then usual, he has locked him into his ghost form while also locking away his powers. Which that in and of itself would be annoying, if he didn't also curse Aragon's amulet around his neck so he couldn't take it off!
But I guess that is what he gets for asking when he'd ever be ready to wield the Ring of Rage, now he has to learn to keep his rage from over taking his rational thoughts by mastering Aragon's amulet… At least there is an entire watchtower of heroes to stop him if he loses control.

Together Forever
So it turns out that Danny is functionally immortal, his living and ghostly forms stabilizing each other every time he transforms. What this means for his human body is that he keeps reverting back to the age of his death- if he wants to grow up, to grow old, he will have to give up the other half of himself.
Danny could also stay a ghost instead, but it doesn’t feel right. It would be too much somehow in a way he can’t explain. (To be a ghost is to be tethered to your pain. He doesn’t notice it while he’s dead but the relief is real each time he comes back to life.)
Tucker reincarnates, like he has been for the past millennia. Each time he forgets his friends, and each time he’ll look into an ancient mirror and slowly start to remember.
It’s not just Tucker who comes back. His parents also return, again and again to each other. They never remember but it’s comforting nonetheless. On his third life after being Tucker Foley, it occurs to him that they might be soulmates; his continued existence not an unnatural blackmailing of the universe (like magic so often is) but just… skitching a ride.
Sam lives. She’s idealistic, a fighter, and ambitious. She dabbles in the dark arts just enough to help further her bright-eyed goals. Then, for a while she disappears. When her friends finally find her again, she has demons- both literal and metaphorical. She stops dabbling, and lets herself age. (She wont stop fighting though, she never will.)
Sam dies. Danny protects her soul, and Tucker helps preserve her heart and mind. Her ghost is a fearsome and terrible thing, nearly a goddess in her own right. Death frees her from her living burdens, and for the first time in centuries she feels as light as she was in her youth.
Dani and Vlad are similar to Danny, but they are not perfect. They have to eat.
Vlad’s death was gradual. There is no single moment his biology returns to when he transforms, so he ages. He sustains his living body with his ghostly form, so like Spectra and Desiree he learns to draw energy from human emotions.
Dani was born half-dead. The condition Vlad discovered in himself as he begun to live longer and longer than any human has natural access to, she had from the very beginning. Dani doesn’t bother with vampirism though. She’s a Frankenstein and she’s ok with it; she gets her ecto-vitamins in the form an injection by Danny.
One day Dani will find out why she wanders, and why she traces the same paths over and over again. (Sam will tell her about ley lines, liminal spaces, and tears in the veil between worlds.) She’ll find places and events where the air itself sustains and strengthens her. Sun on a flower.

Danny grabbed the wrong medallion at the worst time.
He'd been visiting Clockwork, going over some time travel plans, making sure his Time Medallion was still functional, when he'd gotten a call that the GIW were on Dani's tail.
He'd immediately grabbed the medallion and shoved it back into his chest, leaving for Dani immediately.
It wasn't the time medallion.
It was an Amulet of Aragon.
Danny dives into battle without knowing that, and gets pissed.
Danny is now stuck in dragon form, with an injured Dani on his back, fighting the GIW with powers he's not super familiar with.
From Green Arrow's perspective, the government is trying to rescue a little girl that a large, terrifying dragon just kidnapped.

DC x DP prompt
Danny is hanging out with Dora, and gets caught in a trap by Aragon. He takes the dragon amulet and phases it into Danny’s chest, which turns Danny into a dragon, and then sends him through a natural portal to cause chaos.
Aragon tries to take over the zone while Danny is gone but Dora beats the crap out of him.
Meanwhile Danny is a dragon now, smaller than his human form because he’s still a baby ghost, and his core reflects that. Baby dragon Danny was sent to the DC universe and lands (un)gracefully in an alley in Gotham.
He could be feral like little baby man but he could also just be regular Danny brain power as a ghostly dragon. Who is like three feet long. He does his best to get his bearings, roams around a bit, hides from people, and scrounges for food as he tries to find a way back home. (Might not realize he’s not in his universe)
Danny catches the attention of some not so great people and runs and hides in an alley, digging into the trash or under a dumpster bc he is Smol.
Meanwhile Damian is out on patrol and hears commotion on the streets. He swiftly beats up this gang of guys chasing someone(or something) into an alley. After running them off he hears rustling amongst the trash in the dark alley. He thinks it’s a cat, as it usually is, but is surprised to find an actual, baby, black and white dragon with bright green eyes.
Obviously he plans to take him home, but has to coax Danny out from underneath the dumpster. Maybe he uses some snacks from his cool pouches on his belt. Eventually he wins over Danny, but Damian has to keep him a secret from the batfam.
The secret does not last long. Keeping a dragon in your room is not a good hiding spot. But, he found that Danny likes to cuddle, so obviously the little dragon had to stay with him.
Alfred found out first, promised not to say anything and help feed the dragon. Not sure who finds out next but Danny probably tries to bite Dick when he tries to pick him up a bunch.
Damian plans to train Danny to be his sidekick. If Batman gets a batdog, obviously Damian needs a bat dragon. Name is a work in progress, but Damian still makes Danny a lil bat outfit to match Ace.
Eventually everyone finds out and Bruce especially is trying to figure out where the dragon came from and why he’s just chilling with the fam. The tamest dragon he’s ever seen tbh it makes him worried
Damian finds out about some of Danny’s powers and shenanigans ensue. Danny gets comfy with the bats and is treating the whole thing like a vacation away from his troublesome life. Dragons probably purr, right?
Eventually maybe Danny finds a way to communicate that he’s actually a teenager trapped in dragon form and he needs help. The batfam collectively lose their minds when Danny’s revealed to have black hair and blue eyes.

Short DPXDC Prompts #594
Tim finds a strange amulet while on a mission for Bruce. Instead of putting it in storage in the Batcave, he puts the necklace on and convinces himself that it’s safer on his person. He can’t for the life of him figure out why he just can’t let the amulet leave his line of sight but he just can’t.  He figured out why a few weeks later when he woke up at least 150ft (46m) taller than he was before.  He came to two conclusions very quickly:
1.) The amulet is absolutely magical. 2.) He was a dragon.
------ King Danny received word that an amulet from Aragon’s kingdom has found a new host. Not only that but Dora and himself were tasked to train and teach this new amulet user. Upon using a ghost portal to find the amulet wielder he came to two conclusions very quickly:
1.) The amulet had chosen an alive human as its wearer. 2.) The amulet wearer was very hot.

Prompt 60
Danny would like everyone to know that this was not his fault. It’s not his fault that another amulet got lost in the human realm (thank you Aragon, he hates you for this) nor is it his fault it’s been broken! He was just going to take it from the museum and was both invisible and intangible! It’s not his fault another thief got there first alongside a vigilante and they panicked when seeing the amulet started floating. It is so not his fault that there is now an entire city of dragon… dragon shifters… whatever! And it’s not his fault he’s stuck as a baby dragon right where the the amulet shattered, which leads to misunderstandings. How was he supposed to know this wasn’t his world and the english isn’t the same?!

Triple Threat (DC x DP)
So, this is based slightly on this prompt I wrote! Here is the link to my DC x DP masterpost, and one of my last notfics I posted here was Gaslight, Gatekeep, Girlboss, Godhood where Danny and Vlad try to manipulate and mansplain their way out of trouble with the JLA. So, Danny and Billy are brothers. Maybe they're twins separated at birth, but I prefer that they bonded at some other point, maybe they adopted each other after meeting on the street. Danny's parents said they didn't care he was a halfa, but their behaviour changed so much because they were utterly incapable of hiding their fear of him. He ran away. Billy was at this time, already living on the streets.
They 'come out' to each other on the same day revealing their powers out of brotherly love and unconditional trust - not as an accident. And you know what? Trans Rights! They can come out that way too. At this point, Billy is working with the justice league and Danny is spending a lot of his time in the Zone. He is the king, but mostly his job is to be a key judicial figure as the 'only dude who can pretty much beat anyone up' and has a lot of friends there. Hey, the sovereign ruler of the ghost zone was locked up for thousands of years and nothing really seemed to happen so I can't imagine he'd have a lot to do day-to-day. Actually, instead of sleeping on the streets they both spend most nights in the Zone in Danny's Haunt (though I'd imagine Billy also sleeps frequently at the watchtower because the pair of them are quasi-immortal homeless children who also somehow have fulltime jobs that pay nothing. And the watchtower has a kitchen). When I think of Danny's personality displayed as a physical location, I think it looks like a little suburban street lined with weird ghostly trees growing sentient flowers. There's a nasty burger though it's empty of employees and food; they still use it as a dining room. His actual house (ghosts don't need one but I still think Danny would have one) is moderate in size and charming. But it has defences built in, to the same absurd level as home alone or that live action scooby doo film https://youtu.be/2x7W225iC88?t=62 where there's a trapdoor under the doormat. There's a park across the road (which is always empty of cars but has a pedestrian crossing anyways) with purple grass and some plants that are only vaguely carnivorous. Every now and then, Billy helps out Danny with some magic tomfoolery in the Zone (you cannot tell me Aragon's amulets or Desiree aren't magic over and above normal ghost shenanigans). In one of Billy's first ever team missions he calls Danny as backup. He barely knows these people and he knows he won't be able to do his best hero-ing when he can't fully trust them to watch his back. Phantom doesn't end up having to do much because the JLA members are nice and trustworthy, but he is physically and visibly there. At the conclusion of the mission, following a nice orderly debriefing, Wulf comes to pick up Danny to get Walker back in line. This is a point where there are only a few JLA members, but Batman carefully adds "Brother/Twin??: King of Ghosts - The Phantom" to Shazam's file and begins investigating ecto-activity. A few years pass. Enough that Billy’s and Danny’s lives get a lot busier. Billy is doing some non-traditional school shit (I refuse to google the laws around out-of-school younger-age education in a foreign country for a city that doesn’t exist) and Danny is now working in a space agency. He obviously can’t be an astronaut because of the required physical -which he would not be able to pass - and he is busy with king stuff often enough that going into space for half a year isn’t really do-able. I think his Jack Fenton genes might kick in and he bulks out just a tad. It took him a year to be able to look at his ghost self in the mirror because he looked like Dan’s scarier big brother.
The justice league stop some evil invasion but in the process disable a giant spaceship that is now floating, untethered through their solar system. The aliens had been prepared for superman so there is artificial kryptonite meaning he cannot just punt it into the sun. They contact some space scientists to help them figure out how much of a problem this floating object will be; if it will affect future space travel attempts, if it could crash into the moon or Earth itself, if benevolent alien visitors in the future could think Earth was full of deranged murderers if they came to visit and encountered it.
Every agency they contact recommends one guy.
So, Shazam has need of his cool older twin Danny to come and help out with this problem! He is visibly thrilled and eventually admits that Daniel Nightingale (he wasn’t going to add to the prestige of his parents name or risk dragging his career down with their shenanigans) is his brother.
Only a couple of the original members remember all those years ago that Marvel has a brother they’ve met and that’s who they’re expecting when Danny arrives with his team. Of course, the magic ghost is a good option for a dicey mission. But no, it’s Danny. He does a great job and there’s a lot of content here. But after Danny and Billy leave, Batman holds a meeting to update JLA members that have only been around a few years. Apparently, Captain “the champion of magic” Marvel, and Phantom – the king of ghosts are triplets with Danny “Just A Guy” Fenton.

Dp x DC crossover au where Danny uses the infinity map to locate and steal back Aragons cursed dragon amulet and was lead to a different dimension, and more specifically a city called Gotham.
Phantom manages to get the amulet back without any dragon shenanigans by teaming up with this cool cat lady. Yeah, he might have helped a jewel thief run off with half of the museums collection, but her reasoning made sense to him and you have to crack a few eggs to make an omelet.
It was on his way back that he spotted a guy in a leather jacket and an odd red mask. The man took one look at Phantom flying through the sky and muttered something about his eyes before opening fire on him with an actual gun.
Danny notices there's something wrong with this "ghosts" core and decides to just pick him up and take him to Frostbite for medical care.
The rest of the Batfam freak out after discovering Jason has been kidnapped by some sort of Lazarus Pit creature and they couldn't find him.
When Jason returns he has packet of medical information and a very strange tale about Yetis, the underworld and basically being forced into taking luxury spa treatments for a week straight to finally get rid of the Lazarus gunk in him and get his "core" properly formed.
To be honest, Jason doesn't think he's ever felt this good before.

Helpline part 2 “Why the hell is a child here?” Hall yelled! Constantine rolled his eyes, “Age is relative … tho even by demon standards I assume you’re rather young eh Sheila ?”
The demon pouted, “My name isn’t Sheila, I told you call me Konstelacio!”
“Right my apologies.”
Damian sneered,”Idiot.” Only to have Dick elbow him,”Don’t.”
“Now then! What do you need?” The girl crossed her arms and slowly paced by the edge of the circle.
“Wait wait hold up! What is the Infinite Realms?”
Demon girl kept on examining the circle, “Exactly what it sounds like.”
“What are you?”
“Rude”
“How old are you?”
“Depends”
“I thought this spell was supposed to be random?”
Dick groaned, “Wally-“ Zatanna put her hand up, “Hold on that actually is an important question. Why did you show up?”
The demons face contorted. “Uh because it’s my job?” Her hands coming up to her chest.
“How do you get a job like this Konstelacio ? This doesn’t exactly seem like a safe job for a kid?” Superman pondered.
She shrugged, “Eh, community service.”
The heroes gapped. Hal’s ring shone, “And what exactly does a demon have to do to be sentenced with community service?”
“None of your business!!!” The girl grew flustered shoulders tensing.
“Was it a violent crime?” Batman questioned
“That’s it I’m leaving!” She stepped closer to the middle of the circle “You humans are so rude!!!”
“Wait wait,” Constantine pleaded “I apologize on behalf of my colleagues. They have simply never met anyone as…” weird, different, odd “magnificent as you o great one!”
She hummed, “Oh no! The Great One is my uncle!!!”
Uncle? What did that even mean?!?! John was gonna have a heart attack at this rate.
“Yes well please don’t leave we truly do need your assistance!”
Batman cleared his throat, “We were trying to reach someone to help us with several world ending threats that have appeared.”
“Yes, you said that you were uh a helpline? Could you connect us with someone else?” Superman spoke in a kind tone.
“Well duh” the girl relaxed, “You need to actually talk about the issue tho and what exactly it is you’re looking for these things can be tricky.”
“Tell me about it. ….ow”
Batman continued, “ There seems to be some sort of disease spreading everywhere as well as a monster running rampant.”
“If it’s a magical monster why not have your magic users take care of it?”
“Captain Marvel and Dr Fate are both currently of world. We also think the disease may also be magic in nature.” Superman butted in.
The demons eyes lit up at the mention of the Captain only to turn to stone right after. Interesting thought Damian this might be useful information.
“ Alright then I’ll need as much info on these issues as I can! Tho I already do have a few ideas on who to contact about it!”
“This is the monster,” Aquaman pulled up photos of a blue glowing dragon in a gold amulet on screen. “It first appeared in Atlantis wreaking havoc in it wake as it took over the mainland along the coast of California. Our magicians were in able to harm it at all! One second it was there the next gone.”
“Uuughgghhhh Aragon!”
Necks almost broke looking back at her.
“Oh great you two know each other,” Constantine’s voice began to rise in pitch, “lovely.”
“What is he? My magic barely did anything to him too!” Zatanna asked
“Yeah,” Wally backed her up, “We couldn’t do anything against that thing!”
“He’s not a thing! He is a ghost his name is Arragon!”
Flash paled, “A ghost?? That thing couldn’t be a ghost !”
“That’s it I’m leaving! You are being rude again!”
John ran towards the circle, “Wait wait hold on now..”
“You are all being so rude! We are people! We have sentience Aragon is a person!” Red hot anger flushed her cheeks as her eyes wavered.
Flash went up to the circle, “You’re right you’re right it’s my fault entirely I’m sorry! Konstelacio!” Barry felt awful the young girl reminded him of Wally before the adoption. Sad and joking. Sad and demanding to be seen for what they are.
“Yeah whatever,” she looked away, “what about the illness ?”
“It started around the same time as the mons- as Aragon arrived. The illness seems to be random causing deterioration of the skin and violent outbursts,” Batman threw the file over the ring of the circle, “Here’s more info.”
“Hhhmm I’m going to be honest I don’t understand half of this stuff. You said it might be magic based?”
WonderWoman nodded, “ Yes I use to hear tales of something similar back on Themyscira. Supposedly it is one of the illnesses Pandora released from her box.”
“Well why didn’t you start with that ? I’m sure NanaDora will be happy to help!”

You know, we get to see a lot of Plant Sam, but what about that time she became a dragon? Well, that’s why I made these drawings of my AU Sam. At some point I’ll probably draw her an original outfit for their first school dance but for now, here’s the canon one. Also, I’d love to see an AU where Sam becomes some kind of forest dragon. That’d be awesome!

Parental Bonding au where after Paulina loses the amulet in the mall, Danny goes incorporeal and SNATCHES that shit to hide in the floor or something before she regains full awareness, like a guy interested in not dealing with a dragon again who has ghost powers would. Danny gives it to Sam once Paulina has left, and Sam decides to research it cause that’s cool as all hell.
Princess Dora comes looking for her amulet and meets Sam. They get to talking and Sam decides to help Dora liberate herself from her brother’s tyranny. The new conflict for Danny is deciding whether or not he’s gonna actively help or enjoy his date with Paulina at the dance. Sam, being the awesome friend she is, tells him to just go and give her some gear that she can make due with.
Does Sam need more than the Fenton Fisher and Thermos to help Dora deal with Aragon? I think not, personally, he’s a dumb little bitch and can be lured out of hiding. If she does, well, Dora does have the authority to demand some arrows and a bow from the guards. You can’t tell me goth jock who excels at the dumb shooter game can’t aim.
Does Paulina break Danny’s heart or does his audhd swag enchant her into actually liking him? Idk, either is fine by me.
The point is, Dora and Sam beat Aragon and Sam is rewarded with his amulet, allowing her to transform into a sick ass gothic dragon! That’s fucking sick and Sam deserves it.

DPxDC Prompt
Since turning down position of High King of the Infinite Realms (to be honest his highness is doing great in his new position and watching Vlad get mauled for trying to bribe him with salmon was great). Danny found out it wasn't the only position he earned through protecting Amity, He had gathered and returned so many ghostly artifacts and possessions that he earned the title of Ghost of Repatriations.
Danny didn't know it at first but it wasn't even anything drastic that started him out with that title, it was small things, like returning the toy of a restless puppy, returning a gift misplaced in the ghost zone to the living realm, returning the Aragon amulets to the old lands multiple times. Over time the more and more he assists the Realms in returning artifacts and belongings the more the title becomes set in stone.
When peace is finally brought to Amity through a truce Danny finds his adventures with Ghosts are far from over when Ghost one by one come to him asking him to find something for them. Sometimes it's as easy as a blanket or ring, other times he finds it involves less then legal means when the object is behind a glass display in a museum or private collection.
Danny tries to get the objects honestly at first, but again and again he is turned down and finds himself resenting collectors and museums for holding on so tightly to things that aren't even theirs! Heck most of the open display cases are replicas! The real artifacts are in the backrooms of the museums, they technically don't even NEED them!
So Danny turns to thieving and though he stays in human form to keep Phantom's face out of the news in case he is spotted, he still uses his flight, invisibility and intangibility. He has even taken to leaving behind a note for the ones he stole from, a simple "What was taken, will now be returned". He doesn't really gain much attention until the Artifacts he starts taking are of the more outwardly magical and cursed in nature.
Things go missing in Heroes bases, Villains lairs, Government facilities, Wealthy private residences and more. John even finds things missing from the collections within the house of mysteries! The house didn't even warn him, it just let them in! When he asked the houses manifestation of consciousness, he was told "their intentions are true" whatever the heck that means!
Batman was investigating his own missing artifacts from the batcave when he gets a message from the watchtower that the locked storage room in the watchtower was breached! They didn't catch anyone in the act, the only evidence left behind was a very familiar note and the complete lack of the missing artifact, one mind you that a villain intended to use to kick start the apocalypse!
Danny watched the heroes scrambling in a panic as he casually made his way out of the watchtower, he had very little sympathy for them after seeing their vault of stolen artifacts they chose to horde instead of return in their misguided belief they were more qualified in protecting them, he saw many artifacts that were almost sentient in nature or that required constant care or offerings that were just left in the room closed off and unattended. It was no wonder most of them were so dangerous, they were neglected beyond belief!
He'd be back for them once he found their owners in the Realms or elsewhere. For now though, he had a rock to return, he made sure to wave to the resident protective spirit on the way out, the spirit waved in turn before returning to their comrades who probably lacked the sight to see them.
