Mysterious and Rebellious: Part 5 aka Urban Flight

After They Began Moving, It wasn't long til they hit a slight roadblock. A Sniper.

A: "Guys! Hold up a second..We can't get through here while the sniper's covering the street..."

707 : "Ur right..Gordon, Think u can take it out..?"

Gordon pondered for a moment before nodding. He made a run for it, taking the 2 rollermines they converted with him. He found 2 supply crates and broke them, gaining some armor for His HEV suit. He found a cover spot from where He could toss a Rollermine up to The Sniper, and took the chance. Merely Seconds later, The Rollermines blew up since they were unstable. Alyx and Luciel ran out to meet up with Gordon, who had just taken out the Sniper.

A: "Nice Toss, Gordon."

707: "Yea, That Sniper nearly took our heads off, Pfft-"

A: "Alright, Let me climb up and take a look at what we're walking into."

Alyx proceeded to climb up a railing and jump up into a Room with an open sniper rifle. Alyx glared towards the path ahead, though it didn't look good.

A: "Uh oh..They've got the street fortified up ahead! You two run point, okay? I'll cover you guys from up here til you reach the far end. When the coast is clear I'll catch up."

Gordon and Luciel both nodded in understanding.

A: "Okay, looks like I can get that ladder down to you! Let me shoot out the latch!"

Alyx soon gets out of sight, seemingly vanishing as she gets behind the sniper rifle. Luciel wonders if she's any real good at it since She's been using a pistol alongside her own fighting skills...

A: "I might be a little rusty with this rifle..."

She manages to shoot the ladder perfectly and gets it to come down, Luciel looked a bit impressed at how precise the shot was.

A: "Hah, nope! Guess I'm not~"

707, to Gordon, smiling: "Haha, I love it when She gets like that--"

Gordon simply nodded to him in agreement before climbing up the Ladder, Luciel quickly following. The Boys encountered a small hoarde of Zombies, but with Alyx covering them, they made it through okay.

707: "Oooh, look, a door!! Let's go in~"

Gordon obliged and went in with Luciel. They went up a flight of stairs and got into a corridor with a bunch of wooden panels covering the windows. Luciel seemed to be focusing on the end of The Corridor, wondering if any enemies will show up. As if on cue with his thoughts, Here come some Zombies.

707: "Hey, Get the panels off so Alyx can see into the room and possibly snipe anything that comes thru here--Oh."

Gordon was a step ahead of Luciel though, as Half the window was already lit up. Luciel smiled, knowing that Gorodn would be smart enough to do that. As the Zombies began coming closer, Alyx sniped out practically all of them, only missing a single shot. Luciel clapped and praised Alyx mentally before continuing on with Gordon. As They went back outside, They found an opening, as well as a combine blockade at the back.

Once They made it back there, They killed off a small group of Combine Soldiers, Basically the usual shit. Gordon grabbed a Crossbow and used it to Cover Alyx as She made it across to meet up with him and Luciel. Speaking of Luciel, He was waiting somewhere behind Gordon with a Shotgun to murder any antlions that get a bit too close. Though it wasn't long til that was over with and Things were sorta calm.

A: "Glad that's over.."

707: "Ya, me too.."

Seconds after saying that, as Alyx went over to a Console, The Citadel made a loud noise, startling The Trio..

A: "Oh God..Looks like The Reactor's back on Track for a Meltdown..That Transmission's going out after all.."

707: "Well..At Least we managed to buy more time for everyone at the moment.."

A: "..Yea.."

The Citadel made a rumbling noise again, almost causing lightning to strike...

A: "Whoa..! I'd like to find another way around these buildings..but we really don't have time.."

707: "Not Anymore.." T-T

A: "..We'll be fine, Luciel.."

707: "I knooww..." T-T

A: "..Okay..Let's get in. Come on!"
