I love that Keanu Reeves just takes whatever roles he wants because he knows he can. like if I was that famous I too would choose to be a weird rich person in "always be my maybe" that breaks a vase over their head or that one tumbleweed in that spongebob movie. Like me too Keanu, me too.

If I had a nickel for every time Keanu Reeves turned out to be the surprise hookup with a character in a Netflix original, I’d have two nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice.

Did you know that some of Shadow the Hedgehog’s lines for Sonic 3 have been leaked? Here are some of the lines I saw from the leaks:
“Yeah.”
“Whoa.”
“Guns. Lots of guns.”
“Excellent!”
“Shoot the hostage.”
“I’m thinking I’m back!”
“The only stars that matter are the ones you look at when you dream.”
“I WANT ROOM SERVICE! I WANT THE CLUB SANDWICH, I WANT THE COLD MEXICAN BEER, I WANT A $10,000-A-NIGHT HOOKER!”

In the spirit of Valentine's, I HAD to watch a (many) romantic movie(s) and hence I chose Always Be My Maybe.
This had one of the best resolutions with the female lead being a career woman. You usually see one or the other just losing their identity to fit the life of their loved one but this movie had it perfectly sorted.
And OF COURSE the Keanu segment was the valentine's feast my eyes and heart needed.
I also watched The Portrait of A Lady On Fire, Maja Ma and the 2019 Charlie's Angels.

Kinda wanna make a bot for Keanu in Always Be My Maybe because even though he’s playing himself he’s also a jerk and I love that 😍

I’m glad media is starting to show Asian family stories, and the dynamic between the sort of guilt and generational trauma is so startlingly accurate to real life parent/child relationships so common in our culture.
What makes it fiction for me is that the parent(s) finally see how wrong and damaging their actions are and actually... change?
Hell, I can’t help but scream UNREALISTIC when a mother hugs her child. Just me?
