I miss Sander terribly. I miss his sweetness, his disarming smile, his emerald eyes, his joy, his passion for Bowie and his infinite love for Robbe. Yet, even though he is a character in a series, and it is only thanks to Willem that Sander is a wonderful angel, sometimes I have the feeling that he really exists in my life.

What is the SKAM Big Bang?

It is a fun fandom event where we combine our talents to celebrate and create new content for the SKAMverse. Writers write fics; betas provide writing support and proofread; and artists create artwork for the story. Then we begin posting everything on AO3 over the summer, starting June 21, 2024.

You can see the moment he realizes it, the truth so obvious on your body. That you are as turned on as you are angry. His eyes narrow, like he can see right through you before flicking downward to land on the bulge you can’t hide. He looks back up at you, the expression on his face now transformed by a cocked eyebrow and a smirk twisting his lips at your thinly veiled desire.

my guess is that most of these are going to be from story soundtracks or eventual story soundtracks.

1. Third Uncle by Brian Eno - a song that sounds like violent thought.

2. What They Call Us by Fever Ray - because I got a notification for a new Fever Ray song and listened to it a hundred times.

3. Love Me More by Mitski - for the sad dancing girl inside of me.

4. Feeling Myself - Lullaby version by Wolf Alice - a drowsy sort of sexiness.

5. Be My Husband by Nina Simone - one from the red squirrel. that story is about the songs in it. this one in particular. I hope it winds up as intense as I picture it.

6. Moonage Daydream by David Bowie - this is the version played in the recent film that's more of a tone poem than a documentary. recommended.

7. Photograph by Perfume Genius - I daydream stories before I write them down. daydreaming that goes beyond idle ideas right into drafting. this is the one that put on when I'm thinking hard about Rest Easy and the next story in their series.

8. Strangers by Portishead - raising your hand and pointing in time at 1:12.

9. Price of Blue by Flock of Dimes - I've never looked at the lyrics for this song. I prefer to get swept up in its ebb and flow, blissfully ignorant.

10. Blue Morning by Daisy Rickman - I have never heard this song in my life, I don't know how it wound up here--Spotify payola?--but I'm kinda feeling it. [adds to Untitled No. 6 playlist]

1. “The One to Wait” by CCFX - perfect chill working music with a good beat

2. “Under the Table” by Fiona Apple - this song has been in my head on and off for months (kick me under the table all you want, I won’t shut up) fall always means Fiona for me

3. “Darkness Fades” by Sharon van Etten - saw her this summer and this song was especially amazing live 🤩

4. “Over the Hills and Far Away” by Led Zeppelin - recently reread “Burning for Your Touch” and that fic sent me on a 2 week Zeppelin kick ❤️

5. “The Night Before Your Birthday” by Andrew Bird - solid track off his newest album

6. “Hurricane” by Plains - Waxahatchee’s album Saint Cloud is one of my favorite albums of the last 10 years and this new collaboration is full of the same sound, love it

7. “Let Down” by Radiohead - this song used over the final shots of Season 1 of “The Bear” was one of the most affecting soundtrack choices I’ve seen in a long time

8. “Halah” by Mazzy Star - this song is so dreamy 😌

9. “Champagne Coast” by Blood Orange - I can and do listen to this song on repeat for like half an hour

10. “Range Life” by Pavement - a song I put on so many playlists it is probably one of my top tracks ever

My 2022 Skam Big Bang fic ‘this is our story written in color’ is now complete! And I’m excited to share the work of my collaborator @chioink who brought to life one of the sweetest Isak and Evens ever! She visualized a pivotal moment in this reimagined S3 AU of graffiti artist Even bringing back the color in Isak’s world through real-world street art and graffiti! Thank you Chio! So wonderful to work with such an amazing artist! 🤩😍👏👏👏 @chioink @skambigbang

After leaving his beloved, but mentally ill mother, a closeted and numb Isak is going through the motions. Even is the elusive street artist E tagging walls around Oslo with pride graffiti. Isak’s coming out is sparked by both the street art as well as Nissen’s newest student, not realizing just how connected they are. When crisis strikes and Even vanishes, Isak will cover every wall in Oslo with the words he wants to say to him. Anything to get him back.

This is the story of how Even colored Isak's world beautiful.
