footballers as flatmates/roommates headcanon
(imagining them as people with normal jobs + lives btw)
aaron ramsdale - domestic goddess, aggressive style. almost too happy to be cleaning. sets out a fucking cleaning rota for gods sake. drives everyone a bit nuts but whenever you have friends over they always say how nice your house is. has literally the loudest phone calls ever.
kieran tierney - quite content to watch netflix all evening every day of the week. always drinking vodka cokes at pres/party nights. folds his clothes as soon as they’re dry cause he knows his mum would give him a bollocking otherwise. attempts to cook - it sometimes works out. if in doubt, chicken nuggets at least 3 days a week.
michail antonio - house daddy. that man has that kitchen on lockdown. he goes in and comes out with the most insanely good food every single damn time. a complete hoot on nights out. rips the living piss out of everyone but life without him just wouldn’t be right.
ruben dias - quite possibly the most sensible flatmate to live with. amazingly consistent sleep schedule. always asks the group chat ahead of time if he can bring a date over. he is gymming/toning/working out about 23 hours a day mind you. at least he plays his workout music through his headphones.
jarrod bowen - the most reliable housemate ever. bills always paid on time. always down for a late night trip to big tesco. will play playstation with you until 4am. one word answers to anything in the house groupchat - “haha”, “lol”, “yeah”. but, will have the best dmcs with you in the garden when there’s a party.
mason mount - loves it when something breaks cause it means he gets to fix something. cooking skills are hardly world class michelin star restaurant level but he pulls out something every so often that surprises you. always planning what the flat is doing friday and saturday night.
declan rice - believes the antibac wipe can do anything. tells you about all the great discounts he found at wilko today when you get off work. gets waaaay too into the film on flat movie night and cries. hogs the telly whenever there's a golf tournament on. always tries to get a dancefloor going whenever there’s a house party.
martin ødegaard - friendliest face in the house. his room is a marvel of scandi couture. he pretends it's minimalism but it's just ikea's posh range (and that's no bad thing). everyone thinks he's chill cause he likes reading and coffee paraphernalia but he hides a dark secret of playing THE WORST music at houseparties. hugging a cushion/blanket/djungleskog/himself throughout flat movie night.
tammy abraham - interior decor off the scales. the flat is literally glowing with his presence. the throws in the lounge are gorgeous. will defo have the loudest conversation with your flatmates right when you’re just tryna sleep but it’s all worth it. gets the tunes on as soon as he knows everyone is up.
harry kane - definitely in charge of all the bills. whenever he’s on the phone it’s usually because he’s chasing up some utilities company. this man is a provider. he cooks for everyone. wants everyone to be home for tea at the same time so “we can chat and catch up”.
ben chilwell - has the nicest candle collection of anyone in the flat. loves a good houseplant. his dog is the glue that holds the flat together. interior decor choices are questionable but it’s passable. takes his meetings in literally every room whenever he’s working from home.
jadon sancho - panics over any house maintenance or any time he has to set the heating. “nah i can’t get it to work i’ve got no idea” he says to the thermostat. his vibe is always super chill tho, always has his door open and is never in the shower for too long.
kai havertz - if he hasn't already got a house pet, he's strategising how to get one. rarely seen without a hoodie on. definitely rocking the flat's best comfy clothes collection. keeps to himself mainly but at least he doesn't cause any flat drama.
kostas tsimikas - i'm literally not even sure the boy knows how to clean. sleeps in til 2pm and never tells you his plans. will be out of the house for 36 hours and never answers his phone. the greek food he cooks tho? to die for. always ensures there is yoghurt in the fridge.
jack grealish - an unhinged experience. 35 minutes of hair drying everytime he has a shower, which in turn are the longest showers you’ve ever seen someone have. will cook the most astonishingly messy meal and ruin all the pans. secretly quite organised and always gets to work on time.

Summer reading . Looking ahead ☀️
Pick a group
1. 2. 3.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Group 1
Something about disorganization, trying to collect something disorganized, collecting, gathering, trying to bring something and or yourself together. Running. You might get or be sick and or feel disappointed that you are missing out.you may be in the internet a lot, you may witness something changing probably form an outside perspective. You may have a vision, realization, profound thought(s) about the world, and even may go through a death rebirth situation. You might see something happen outside of yourself for instance you see an event take place outside of your window . It would be a good idea to seek tranquility or you might just end up doing so , especially outside. I'm getting someone will have the opportunity to sit aside a waterfall. Guess what!! Some of you are gonna have a romance , find love, or your relationship seems it will just be on good terms and the situation will be very nice. If you're in a relationship at the time of reading this, you will go do something fun together outdoors that is significant I see holding hands . I see someone's mom here has short grey curly hair and small earrings , whoever mom this is do not let her encourage you to miss out on something or some things for something else or something boring it is not actually important even if the alternative is not productive fun is very important for instance. Yeah so y'all gotta go places and do things and this is gonna be nice if you do don't let anything stop you basically. Really take in sensations this season, the color feels and smells
Group 2
"renegade" a motorcycle is significant to some. Something about a sheet or thin cloth somehow ?
The veil is thin for you this group is going to be channeling very well, very fast, a lot of information. Be sure to take time to sit still and mellow out and take in stuff so as to not get overwhelmed. I'm seeing a lot of you like tea so that is a good idea. Someone is going to visit a store for just tea at least mainly and this is very good what tea you get is very good as well. :) You might attend a sports game someone's going to soccer , it may be a kids game, someone's going to football, baseball. Something where you hit a ball with a stick . I also see those long socks on a girl while she runs , you know the socks worn in sports hopefully you know what I mean. You have the opportunity to attend a campfire but this situation is less complete destiny and more up to you somehow. You all definitely have more say in your life and the universe gives you more free will and choice so you are being suggested to go ahead and make the choice to be in nature more and push yourself to do that and other activities. You may feel incomplete if you don't have yourself go live as much as possible. I'm seeing an old box TV someone may be visiting a cabin or traveling though ? Believe it or not it's being suggested you spend less time studying or reading or sitting , more time doing activities and living and also it is good to focus on breathing in certain situations . Do not be rude to kids even if they are annoying if a kid that is too much is sent your way it is some way of the world trying to teach you something or show you something.
Group 3
You guys are more on a mission in life , spiritual or otherwise, so you might miss out and you may or you may not feel some way about this. Like maybe you'll see everyone else having fun and it gets to you but, everyone has play time and everyone has work time and your time will come, just as well as their time. What you're doing will pay off well and is very important it seems . My suggestion is, that if you have even on sudden opportunity to do something outside of your work, healing, whatever it may be, you should take it. Somehow it will be even sweeter of an experience due to circumstances. Someone's gonna eat Mexican I'm picking up a quesadilla and a restaurant maybe you will also sit outside of the restaurant if this is your message . You may have an older relative that only has so much time, this could be years but my point is they're later in life so , I see you do everything you can but just make sure you savor every moment with them I'm starting to cry. They mean a lot to your soul and it's all for a reason but I'm feeling that I shouldn't try to say too much to help I feel that the timing , whenever, or maybe a process as well , is supposed to be helpful for your own development and this is what they also deep down want for you .
Try to avoid numbness, self sabotage, etc. This is very odd but I'm picking up on the green fake tree type Christmas decoration you may hang on railings and stuff . ?,
And also , slightly less odd, toothpaste.
Someone is going to have boneless wings , saucy, to eat, but may make you somewhat sick more or less I just feel a certain type of uncomfortablility I've felt in my stomach with food like that before as well. I suggest milk, aloe, pacing yourself with water, or Tums but of course. Or .... Candy like ... You know the candy that comes in a roll and they actually look like small tums... Smarties but I'll leave this maybe it's a sign how I couldn't remember or something.
Not channeled but if anyone ever has a stomach ache vanilla ice cream can demolish any feeling of uncomfortablility and you'll doubt it to the second you try it.

Begin Again
Summary: When your best friends move away for college, you think life is officially over. However, you find yourself making new friends including the blonde surfer from the other side of the island.
—————————————————
three.
The first time you physically see the boys again is a whole month after they move.  It was prospect weekend at their university which meant all high school seniors who were interested in the school were invited to tour the campus and attend a football game.  For most high school seniors it was their first taste of what college would be like next year.
For you, it was just another weekend at your parents alumni college. It was where they met and fell in love. They had been bringing you to sporting events here every year and basically assumed you would follow in their footsteps.
When you got to campus, they boys met you outside their dorm. Each took a few extra seconds to hug you with Topper actually spinning you around. It felt good to see them, to hug them. This was the longest any of you had gone without seeing each other.
You were currently sitting at the tailgate they dragged you and Sarah to. Ward and your dad had left you both there to visit the alumni tailgate, which was probably a bad idea since Kelce immediately poured you a shot as soon as they left.
All of them had promised not to leave your side, professing that they wanted to spend as much time with you as possible while you were here. That didn’t last long though as they were quickly swept up into a game of beer pong with their fraternity brothers.
Since they were preoccupied, you and Sarah had been people watching from the side of the tent. Several people who graduated from Kildare Prep also went to school here. It was the most popular college choice for Kildare's finest.
“Is it just me or does this feel like a KP reunion?” Sarah asked looking around the tent.
“Definitely feels like a reunion.” You agreed with a grimace.
It’s quiet for a moment as you watch people taking shots, shotgunning beers and quickly becoming blacked out drunk.
“I don’t think I want to go here.” Sarah rushes out quickly and you whip your head around to look at her with wide eyes.
“I- I don’t think I do either.” You stutter. It’s the first time you’ve ever admitted it out loud to anyone. It had been a small thought in the back of your mind for a few weeks now, but you kept ignoring it.
Your parents had been planning on you attending this school since you were a baby. The boys didn’t even think there was another option for you because wouldn’t you want to be where your best friends were?
It was where you always thought you would end up, but it didn’t feel right all the sudden. It didn’t feel like home.
“I haven’t told anyone- well, except John B.”
“Me either minus the part about John B.”
Both of you just stare at each other for a moment, letting the reality of your words sink in.
“Y/n! Sarah!” Kelce was shouting your names as he made his way over to you. Your eyes quickly glance back to Sarah’s, a silent understanding passing between y'all. “Come on, I called next for y'all at pong. You're up against Top and Rafe.”
After winning two games of beer pong, both you and Sarah let another team take over your spot. You were a little tipsy even after switching to water during the second game. All of the guys around the table were in awe of you and Sarah sinking almost every shot.
“That’s my girl!” Rafe shouts when you made the shot to win the first game, even though he and Topper lost because of it.
You and Sarah head towards the coolers to get more water, bending down to open the cooler when a heeled bootie slams the lid shut.
“What tha-” your eyebrows wrinkle in confusion as you look up to see three girls standing on the other side of the cooler.
“Um, can we help you?” Sarah asks as you stand up straight next to her.
“The prospect tailgate is on the other side of the quad.” The blonde in the middle says, her nasally voice like nails on a chalkboard.
“We’re here with friends.” You say, eyes scanning the area for Rafe, Topper or Kelce. Of course they are nowhere to be found.
“Oh really? Who?” The brunette on the left asks, trying to catch us in a lie.
“Topper Thornton, Rafe Cameron and Kelce-” you don’t even get to finish before all three girls are cackling. You and Sarah share an annoyed look.
“No way you're friends with them.” The other blonde on the right says.
“Actually, I’m Rafe’s sister and this is their best friend, y/n.” Sarah says. All of their smiles falter for half a second before they turn their gaze solely to me.
“They’ve never mentioned a girl best friend-”
“Maybe you don’t know them that well.” You taunt. It causes all of them to chuckle again.
“Honey, we’re with those boys literally every single day. They’ve never mentioned you.” The one in the middle brags.
“They call themselves the three amigos. I’ve never heard them utter anything about anyone else.” The brunette chirps.
“And you aren’t on their instagrams anywhere. I would totally remember if you were.” The other blonde adds, all three girls now wearing similar smirks.
A frown settles on your face. You know for a fact you are all over their instagrams. From prom pictures to spending the day on the water, you know you're on all of their pages hundreds of times. Your whole lives have pretty much been documented on their social media accounts.
Thankfully, Sarah has the complete opposite reaction of you. She laughs out loud, hand on her stomach as she leans back slightly - intentionally mocking the girls. People are starting to look at the scene near the edge of the tent.
“Can you imagine trying to intimidate two high school girls because of who they're friends with?” Sarah says loudly so everyone on this side hears. The girls' faces fall at her words.
“Because bitch, we can’t relate.” Sarah throws her hand up in the middle girl's face, a clear dismissal of their childish behavior. She grabs your hand and drags you behind her, away from the tent and the three wicked bitches from hell. She doesn’t stop until a small clearing opens up next to the brick stadium entrance and you're all alone.
Once stopped, the first thing you do is pull your phone out. Opening up Instagram you check all three of the boys Instagram pages hoping that bitch was lying. Your heart sinks when you realize she wasn’t.
There isn’t a trace of you on any of their pages. Tears well up in your eyes and you clench your eyes shut to prevent them from falling.
“Don’t cry, you are way too pretty to cry over those assholes.” Sarah says gently, pulling you into a hug.
“How could they erase every single picture of me? Like I haven’t been there for every moment of their lives.” Your voice cracks a little as you try to keep the emotion from spilling out.
“I don’t know, but I’m going to beat their asses. Then I’m going to roundhouse kick Peggy, Susie and Betty in their faces for messing up our day.” Sarah pulls back slightly to look at you, the determined look on her face makes you giggle.
“Hey! There you are. We were just headed to the boys tailgate to get you so we can head into the game.” Ward says as he and your dad walk up to you.
“Everything okay?” Your dad asks, head tilting as he notices your watery eyes.
“Yeah, I’m okay.” You lie, pushing down every single emotion your feeling as the four of you make your way into the game.
When you find your seats, Sarah asks her dad to take your picture. He takes a few then she holds her phone up for some selfies.
Your phone is blowing up, so you take it out to see who it is. There’s at least ten texts in the group chat asking where you went.
Then there’s two texts from a certain blonde haired, blue eyed surfer. The first one asks if you made it and the second one is a picture of the pogues all with sad faces at your and Sarah’s absence.
You send him a picture of the field to let him know you made it, then you make Sarah take a picture just like theirs and send it with a red heart emoji. You immediately regret sending a red heart, but he sends one right back.
Sarah is staring at you as you stare at those little red hearts, her eyebrows raised as she watches you smile.
“What?”
“Just wondering if I look like that every time I text John B.” She shrugs before looking back out to the field. A blush graces your cheeks as you roll your eyes, both of you giggling which catches your dads attention.
“Hey, there’s no giggling in football.” Ward says, snapping his fingers to get both of you to stop. It only fuels your laughter on more.
After the game, the original plan was to meet the boys back at their tailgate before getting on the road. All four of you are headed that way, talking about the big win when you look up towards the tailgate. Through the crowd of people, you can see those three girls from earlier talking to Kelce, Topper and Rafe. The site makes you falter your steps until you are completely stopped.
As much as you want to go over there and prove that your friends with the boys, you can’t and it’s not because of those girls. You can’t face the boys right now. All of the emotions you pushed down earlier start to bubble up and you refuse to let them see you cry.
“Um, actually, can we go get the truck?” You ask nervously, eyes trained only on your dad as he stops a few steps ahead of you. He squints his eyes at you, confused at your behavior.
“We need to say bye to Rafe.” Ward comments as he looks back to the tent. Sarah also looks towards the tent, noticing the scene before looking back at you and your glossy eyes.
“We'll go say bye to the boys, y’all go get the truck and pick us up on the corner. It will probably save us all some time.” Sarah makes a plan before y’all go your separate ways.
It’s quiet as you and your dad walk side by side towards his truck, the only noise between the two of you is a faint sniffle as you try to keep yourself from crying.
“So, you want to tell me what’s wrong?” He asks softly. He stops walking, turning his whole body to look at you. His face is full of concern and you can’t hold it in anymore.
You tell him about those bitches at the tailgate, the fact your best friends practically erased every memory y’all had together and then you accidently let it slip that you don’t want to go to school here anymore. He pulls you into a hug, repeatedly telling you that it’s all going to be okay as he rocks you back and forth.
Both of you stay like that for a few minutes until your crying slowly fades into a few tears and hiccups. He sweetly dabs the tear stains with the sleeve of his shirt.
“I promise it’s all going to be okay, sweetpea.” He whispers reassuringly before he pulls you into his side and continues on to the vehicle. His words are comforting, but it does help the ache you feel in your chest.
When you pick up Ward and Sarah, she is practically glowing when she climbs in the back seat with you.
“You should have seen those bitches-” she begins but Ward shoots her a look at her word choice. She rolls her eyes but continues on “they looked like they were going to throw up when we walked up. When the boys kept asking where you were, their faces paled.” She laughs and even Ward chuckles from the front seat.
“Did they say anything?”
“Oh yeah, they said they were just joking around with us. So I told the boys everything they said. I honestly thought Rafe was going to punch their little blonde leader. When the girls left, Topper said they’ve only seen those girls twice at swap parties.”
“You should have seen them leave, total embarrassment as this one actually laughed.” Ward says from the front seat pointing back at Sarah. That little bit of information makes you feel a little better.
“Did the boys say anything about Instagram?” You ask, unsure if you really want to know. She shakes her head no.
“They were too hyped up on shutting those girls down. I’m sure they are blowing up your phone right now though.” She points to your purse. You can feel it vibrating repeatedly from the inside.
When you pull it out, the amount of texts and calls popping up is causing your phone to go slow. You decide to put it on Do Not Disturb, not ready to talk to them yet. Plus, they’re probably still drunk. The conversation that needs to be had would be best sober.
When you get home, you quickly shower to wash the tailgate and stadium funk off. You just finish putting on pajamas when there’s a light knock on your window.
You slowly approach the window, peaking through the blinds to see who it could possibly be. The only boys who have ever snuck through your window don’t live in the banks anymore.
“JJ?” You're completely confused, but you pull the blinds up and open up the window anyways.
“Hey” he whispers as he stands on the roof landing outside your window. His eyes rake over your face before taking in your light pink silk pajamas.
“What are you doing here?”
“John B had to drop something off at Sarah’s, so I thought I would come see you.”
“Well, come in.” You whisper stepping back so he can move inside. He doesn’t, but he grabs your hand pulling you back to the window.
“I can’t stay long. He told me to meet him back at the van in a few minutes.” He explains, his thumb running across the back of your hand.
You don’t even realize your pouting at the fact he has to leave so soon until his other thumb brushes across your bottom lip before moving up your jaw. He drops that hand quickly as if he's been burned and lets out a shaky breath.
“Did you have fun today?” He asks quietly, frowning when you only shrug in response. Before he can question further, his phone beeps.
“That’s John B letting me know my times up.”
“Thanks for stopping by.” you reply softly.
“Anytime, sweets.” He says making you giggle. He backs away from the window before turning around to climb off the roof making you close the window then the blinds.
You haven’t even moved from the spot when another knock makes you jump. You reopen everything to see JJ standing there again.
“I forgot something.” He whispers as he gets closer to the window.
“Wha-” you don’t even get to finish the word when his lips land on yours and his hand comes up to cup your jaw. The kiss is soft, almost tender as your lips move against his sparking electricity between the two of you.
It only lasts for a few seconds before his phone goes off again. He reluctantly pulls away, leaving you both wanting more.
“I’ve got to go.” He says against your lips and you nod in understanding.
“Goodnight J” you whisper as he backs away for the second time.
“Sweet dreams baby” He says with a wink before climbing off the roof.
The kiss is the only thing you can think of as you slowly drift off to sleep, completely exhausted from the long day. Not mean bitches, shitty best friends or anxiety of your future.
Only JJ Maybank’s lips on yours.

Meet the Parents
Who: The Jones Clan and Clark Abrams ( @lightingclark ) + ( @mercedesajones )
When: Thursday 9.19.19
Where: Ben’s Suite
Clark was surprised with how nervous she felt for the evening. She had already met Calvin and he seemed to like her but it was different when it was the entire family as well as being with Ben. She loved spending time with Ben and he still, to this day, made her stomach flip when they spent time together. Their relationship was complicated, but she wasn't about to let that spoil her evening. So she put on an ironed pair of fresh khaki pants and a short sleeved button up shirt and made her way over to Ben's place from Deni's. Once she arrived, she knocked twice, and stepped back, not kneeling in fear of wrinkling her clothes and waited for the Dominant to let her in.
As open as Calvin was to meeting all of his kids friends, he was paying particular attention to the select few that Ben had brought around purposefully. The two young women he'd met so far were gorgeous and charming and Ben's intentions with them were clear. It was the young woman that was coming over tonight that was unclear and that made Calvin wonder what she meant to his son. While Ben fussed over the food in the kitchen with his wife and daughter, he sat in the living room with Yas and Rome, their submissives. So when there was a knock at the door, Calvin brought it upon himself to answer and let the guest in. "Hello, Clark." He smiled down at the young woman, holding out his hand for her to shake. "Ben is helping his mom and sister with dinner. Come in."
Clark smiled up at the friendly face and happily shook his hand firmly. "Good evening Sir. Thank you so much" she said following him in. "Have you been enjoying your stay so far, Sir?" she asked as she entered the room and closed the door behind her. Taking in the aroma she couldn't hold back the small moan. "Oh my goodness, it smells amazing in here. I cannot wait to see what everyone has prepared for the evening. Is there anything I can do to help?" she offered openly to both Calvin and the group of people in the kitchen.
A firm handshake was something Calvin always looked for and was impressed by the simple gesture from the submissive. With just this first impression, Calvin could see why Ben liked her so much and he wondered why she wasn't someone that was more prominent in his son's life. "Yes, all of us really have been enjoying ourselves. Then again, being able to spend time with our kids is always a good time. I can't remember the last time I've had more than one of them together. Once they got to the kitchen, Calvin was not surprised that they all said no while simultaneously pushing him and their guest back in the direction of the living room. But it wasn't lost on him how Ben made sure he came over to Clark to pull her into an embrace and press a small kiss to her cheek. Once in the living room, Yasmine didn't even give him a chance to introduce them, getting up from where she was sitting next to Roman and pulling Clark into her embrace. "You're just as gorgeous as Bentley said. I'm Yas, Sir Calvin's claim and this is Rome, Miss Violet's claim." From behind them, the stocky man threw up some fingers that was supposed to be some kind of a greeting. "Come sit down, let's talk girl to girl." Calvin just chuckled as he sat on the chair adjacent to where Yas was leading Clark, ever as amused by the social nature of his submissive.
Clark leaned into the familiar embrace of Ben and said hi to him before she was ushered off into the living room. She was slightly caught off guard by the other submissives hug but quickly adjusted and hugged back. "It's nice to meet all of you" she said, throwing a nod of her head towards Rome before being ushered to the couch next to Yas. "I'm down to talk girl to girl, but I'll be honest, I'm not really the most girly of girls" she said with a shrug as she motioned down to her outfit and ran a hand through her short hair. She reminded herself to watch what she said about her life, especially about Deni because she hadn't gotten a chance to talk to Ben yet about what he told his family about her and what all they knew.
Calvin just watched as Roman continued to play some football game on Ben's television and as Yas engaged Clark in conversation. He couldn't help but chuckle at Clark's conversation and like he always did, interjected. "Well, Yas isn't the girliest of girls either, I can assure you. It's part of the reason I love her so much." It was amazing to him that he was still able to make the woman blush and it still made his heart skip a beat. Yas then nodded in agreement and turned back to Clark. "He's right. When he met me back in institute, I had a buzzcut and wouldn't wear anything but Doc Martens." Calvin chuckled at the memory and nodded. "She was a badass and had me hooked from the moment I met her."
Clark turned to Calvin as he spoke but didn't miss the reaction on Yaz's face. She chuckled and shrugged. "I get that. I like to think that my badass side is what catches peoples attention" she said as she sat up a little straighter with a smirk on her face. She was about to continue the conversation when she saw Rome throw a touchdown in the game, scrambling before he threw the ball like an expert. "You know, I used to be apart of an online league as a running back. Do you normally play alone or have you played online before?" she asked, her video game nerdy self arising at just the wrong time.
Calvin continued to laugh alongside Clark. "I'm sure it does, I'm sure that among other things is what drew my son to you." Calvin wanted to ask more, to prod and poke until Clark gave him something of value in regards to her relationship with Ben but Yas was giving him that knowing look just as the submissive shifted her focus Roman who was far too invested in his video game with guests there, but to avoid an argument with his wife, decided not to say anything about it. Roman shifted as the game displayed a time out and turned to Clark, as if seeing her for the first time. "Nah, I usually just play alone, or with Bentley when he's around and while I've thought about playing online, I fear that it would be a detriment to my daily life as a submissive. I have addictive tendencies and I'm trying to stay on top of it, you know?" He picked up the controller from the ground and handed it to her. "Wanna play a game with me?"
Clark was unaware of the silent conversation happening around her but did have the decency to look back at the other two when the controller was offered. "Would y'all mind?" she asked as she took the offered controller and held it in her hand. Video games was something she was definitely comfortable with but she also wanted to spend time with all of Ben's family and get to know them.
Calvin already knew that once the conversation shifted to video games with the interest Clark showed in them, they had lost them but he didn't mind. At least she was there and polite and willing to get to know them. Calvin chuckled and nodded. "Go ahead." He beckoned Yasmine to come to him and pulled her into his lap before pressing a small kiss to her neck. It was a comfortable silence, having his girl in his lap while they watched Roman and Clark play their game. They went on like that for several minutes before they were being called into the kitchen for dinner.
Clark smiled at the two of them before she clicked a bunch of buttons in a certain order and up popped a second half of the screen. She was enjoying her time playing with the big guy next to her. They were an equal match and it was fun to not have to hold back against someone she was playing against. She had just gotten sacked by the big guy when they got called for dinner. Putting the controller down, she nudged the older guys shoulder. "You're good. That was fun" she said honestly as they began walking into the other room. Gathering around the island in the room, she stuffed her hands in her pockets as she looked towards Calvin and Ben to see what the protocol was.
Clark managed to get a smile from Rome and a shoulder bump back as they got up for dinner. What was special about their dynamic was that the domestic things were split up among everyone and not just the responsibility of the submissives, which is somethin that Calvin made sure was instilled in his kids as well. The dining room table was bigger than normally, but that was just because Ben added another table under the black cloth and there was room for all of them to fit around. Violet directed them towards said table, but instead of them all sitting down, they stood in a circle around the table, joining hands naturally. Ben went to stand next to Clark, to provide a small amount of comfort and his mom took the other. They bowed their heads and Calvin led the prayer blessing the food and giving his appreciation for being with his family for the first time in a long time. Then they all moved to sit and enjoy the meal of comfort food that Ben and Mercedes couldn't help but dig into first.
Clark slightly squeezed Ben's hand as Calvin lead the group in a short prayer. She respectfully closed her eyes and bowed her head and said "Amen" at the end with everyone else before taking her seat and filling up her plate. The room was full of sounds of everyone eating and passing food around and Clark couldn't help but let the family know how good the food was. "This is amazing. Thank you so much for cooking this evening" she said genuinely as she turned towards Ben and Mercedes and their mother.
