Some of you really need to remember that people on the internet are complete strangers. Like some of the behaviors I see are just so deeply concerning.

Also not everyone is going to like you, and you're not going to like everyone. That's a fact of life.

#also the way people will just suddenly act like you're friends when they JUST met you or never had a proper conversation with you-#-is so fucking weird to me. it is not normal to be latching on to people you just met #and it certainly isn't healthy #ignoring the issue or justifying it with some bullshit isn't going to suddenly make it okay #it's one thing to be friendly and show interest but some people take it WAYYY too far #also the way people will just trauma dump online with zero warning and without someone's consent??#you're fucking weird and it BAFFLES me that people don't see how wildly inappropriate that is #the internet is a public space!!#digital footprints exist sure but like... you're literally surrounded by a shit ton of strangers #i think this is part of the reason why the fixation on being ''mutuals'' with someone always irritated me too #i don't know you...like at all. i obviously followed for a reason but i still don't know you #im totally fine with people being friendly and WANTING to talk to and be friends with me #obviously thats cool and appreciated #but don't make it weird?#also being too comfortable with someone too quickly is a really good way to wind up in some REALLY toxic or unsafe situations
