#Murphy's War#murphy's war 1971#films#philippe noiret#peter o'toole#i thought this film was just like fine i had fun watching it mostly. just a few bits that felt very slow#i watched it mainly because its synopsis was worryingly similar to my own writing LMFAO...#(a merchant sailors boat being targeted and destroyed by a german u boat in wwii)#but the rest was completely different so i was like oh thats fine!#then the big nice man with beautiful brown eyes arrived and i said i feel not so good actually.#also peter o'toole's dublin accent was really really offputting sorry. i expected more off him considering like everything about his life#but it felt bordering on mocking at times and really took me out of the film a bit. sorry peter
