Hello! I saw that you are accepting Halloween prompts for Druig and I was so pumped! Halloween is literally my favorite holiday of the year! So, I thought that it would be really funny to maybe combine Prompt 10 with Scenario 7 for Druig? I imagine Druig being the one comforting reader who is a scaredy-cat, because I myself am a scaredy cat.
If you have this request already, please ignore it! Happy October month and thank you for writing your works!
A/N - Hey! This is perfect for Druig, I love it! Thanks for requesting, and Happy October!
Spooked
Summary - Druig loved a good Horror movie. You despised them.
Tumblr media
Warnings - Just fluff :)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The sudden large sound alone made you jump, to which Druig looked over at you with a raised brow as your eyes were huge on the screen.
“You okay?” He asked, you nodding your head a bit too rapidly for his liking.
“S-sure.  It was just loud,” You explained in almost a stammer, Druig looking back at the screen as the movie was still playing.  Although you were trying your best to not show it in front of him, you were hating this movie.  Hate was probably not the right word, more like petrified.
But it was your idea to watch a scary movie, and now you were mentally kicking yourself for it.
You and Druig finally got an evening together after your crazy schedules were keeping you two apart.  Though you both loved your jobs, the hectic hours and plenty of meetings meant that you two were barely having time together as a couple, but this weekend there was an opening for that.  The relief of spending some time with Druig meant that you wanted to watch one of the new horror films that has yet to be released.  Kingo was letting you both look at one of the advanced copies since it wasn’t going to be in the theaters until Halloween Night, though he wasn’t in the film himself he had connections.  Druig loved a good horror movie, especially the kind that were thrillers and mysteries that he would try to solve before the characters in the movies did.  It was like a game to him, to which you found hilarious as he would be glued to the screen to not miss a single moment.
You, on the other hand, hated Horror movies.
Perhaps you were too jumpy and skittish when it came to the typical slasher flick or thriller, or maybe you only had bad memories when you were a child and your older brother would make you watch horror movies to tease you, but the genre was not your favorite.  There were some films that were tolerable since they were cheesy, but others were downright terrifying to you.  You even had moments of staying up at night with the movie still haunting your mind, feel uneasy to go to sleep and dream of the horrible movie that made you scared.
Druig knew about your dislike for the genre, and he never pushed into making you watch the films with him.  You were grateful, preferring the indy films and sometimes a good action and adventure, to which Druig had Makkari and even Sprite to turn when it came to a good scare in a horror show.  You both were also lucky to have a friend who works in film, either in acting or helping out behind the scenes.  Kingo, as pompous as he was when it came to being in front of the camera, also wanted to show his new movies and projects with his inner groups of friends to get their opinions first before they would be released.
This recent thriller was without a doubt, amazing and beyond scary, which delighted Druig and freaked you out.
Another loud bang was heard on the screen, you jumping and letting out a yelp as the killer on the screen appeared suddenly.  Druig had to chuckle as he looked at you, seeing how pale you were as you glared at him.
“It’s not that bad,” He reasoned as you huffed.
“Not to you, but that’s scary!” You countered as he grinned.  He then moved some of the blankets you two were using over your laps off of him, dropping his arm behind you to tuck you in and have you rest your head on his shoulder. HIS warm hadn’t was brushing up and down your arm while his other arm dropped the blanket back over your legs, bringing you warmth again as you were wrapping your own arms around his waist.
“Never took you for a scary cat,” he teased against your head.
“Never took you to find pleasure in your girlfriend’s fear,” You contented back as he gave a mocked sigh, almost too dramatic.
“I would never do such a thing to the girl I’m crazy about,” he reassured you as you were keeping him tight in your arms, “Kingo did give us a warning that this one was going to be a bit much.  We could have watched something else, you know,”
“No, Kingo wanted to know our opinions on it,” You explained, though he clicked his tongue.
“I doubt he wanted you downright scared with a simple movie.  Honestly, why did you say yes when you knew you were going to hate it?” Druig had to ask, his brow raised and his curiosity heightened.  You paused, taking in a breath, and then looked up at Druig to see him wait for your answer patiently.  You hated lying to him or simply skirting around a question he would ask you, Druig could always read you like a book anyway so lying was never really your forte.
“Because you like these kinds of movies,” You sheepishly admitted to him wishing to be as open as possible as Druig’s gaze softened, “You have a stressful week at work and dealing with Ikaris with his crap, and I know you wanted to unwind and watch this—“
Druig silenced you with a kiss on your forehead, you closing your mouth instantly as he hummed against your skin and smiled.
“I don’t ever want you to compromise your comfort for me,” he reminded you with gentleness in his tone and a warm smile on his lips, “We’re a team, remember? And as a team, we need to take care of each other.”
If there was one thing that Druig had that others never understood, was a compassionate heart.  Constantly he was judged for being put off, sarcastic and blunt, and nonetheless opinionated.  You looked past all of that, knowing that some of those attributes were simply Druig putting a wall up to protect himself from being judged or seen in a different light.  You knew him as kind, compassionate, a philanthropist, and someone who was a true friend.  When you came into his life and took his heart in your hands, you swore never to break it.  Druig swore the same, thinking of you as the sun in his dull life and the pure happiness he has lost for some time.
You both fought hard to be where you were, and you’ll continue to fight for the rest of your time together.
“How about we finish this later and then we can grab some dinner at that place down the street,” Druig suggested, though you shook your head and gestured to the movie.
“It’s almost over, we can finish it,” You answered.
“You sure?” He asked, “I don’t mind watching the rest later,”
“I’ll be fine, plus you’ll protect me anyhow,” You teased as he chuckled.  You both looked at the screen again, wrapped up with each other with a new sense of comfort.  However, it was short-lived when Druig ticked your sides at another jump scare.  You shrieked and smacked him in the arm, you two laughing in the end as the credits rolled.
The End

NSFW Alphabet (Kink)
Tumblr media
Summary: The Kink Alphabet for my threesome.
Warnings: ALL OF THEIR KINK SHIT!!! I dont remember all of it but there is a TON in here!! so that's your warning.
A/N Post-It Note: Juni's Character Sheet for context. 1st Final KINK of this Challenge!!! Its Almost over!!!!!!!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
A = Aftercare (what they’re like after sex)
Juni, Druig and Makkari all cuddle after sex. Usually leaving kisses behind on each others skin. while they drift off to sleep or they'll talk to each other. Just pillow talking and soft caresses.
B = Body part (their favorite body part of theirs and also their partner’s)
Juni favorite part of Makkari are her boobs. She loves sucking her girlfriends nipples or her boobs in general. She's always has to touch them when their both naked either in the bed or the shower.
Juni's favorite part of Druig is his arms. She often laid her head on them when they'd cuddle but she also likes holding onto them as he pounds into her many many times. She's seen his veins pop out when he chopped wood in the forest once and the rest was history.
Juni loves her hips and legs since she can do some very arousing stuff with them to tease her lovers. She loved her entire body but thoes two parts are her personal favorites.
Druig's favorite part of Juni are her hips. Since she's a dancer he became mesmerized by them every time she walked or hell moved. He could wrap his hands around them every time she topped him and feel them move against him, he loves the feeling of them moving like ripples of waves on top of him.
Druig's favorite part of Makkari was her mouth. The things that woman could do with her lips, tongue and mouth drove him insane. Left him begging a couple times but only Kari & Juni knew that which is why they tag teamed him a lot & he dose not care at all.
Makkari's favorite part of Juni were her hands. Juni could make her feel so many things with how her hands caressed her skin and massaged them into her skin. Weather it was gliding them across her breasts or slipping inside of her core or running her hands over her erroneous zones, Makkari could and would play with her fingers whenever she pleased.
C = Cum (anything to do with cum, basically)
They do like multiple orgasms and tasting each other others cum on the others lips when their lips.
D = Dirty secret (pretty self explanatory, a dirty secret of theirs)
Druig has a voyeurism kink and Juni found out in the 80s and her and Kari use it against him every once in a while.
Juni likes being praised by Druig in her mind whenever they do stuff. Because while his mouth is doing other things he can still dirty talk her with his thots.
Makkari likes being a sub to the other two, once in a while. She may have broke a couple of rules now and then just to coax them into their dom space. But DAMN did she love it.
E = Experience (how experienced are they? do they know what they’re doing?)
They've been a throuple since Ancient Greece they have enough experience in what they like and dont like, their well versed. And if they want to try it they do either as separate pairs or all together.
F = Favorite position (this goes without saying)
The Chain because once one of them cums the others follow suit and it's a ring of orgasms. Juni's mouth is on Druig while Druig's mouth is on Makkari and they all move their mouths as one ring of fire as they call it. Reveling in the sounds the others make which spurs them on. They'll switch this one too till they've cummed enough or someone taps out. Or Juni rides Druig while Makkari sits on his face and they go to town. They'll switch this one a lot so everyone gets a turn.
G = Goofy (are they more serious in the moment? are they humorous? etc.)
Makkari likes to make funny comments with references to other times or things she wants to try. Like the time they fucked in Juni's matchbox apartment in NYC during the 40s And Juni's neighbors wrote written complaints about it and stuck them to her door.
"Your neighbors are going to know our names, Sunshine."
H = Hair (how well groomed are they? does the carpet match the drapes? etc.)
Juni waxes her core cause being a dancer and the many many costumes she's had to wear makes it easier for her. So she's groomed and so are Makkari & Druig.
I = Intimacy (how are they during the moment? the romantic aspect)
Juni is a sap for that shit. So Druig & Makkari tell her constantly how beautiful she is naked or not between them or separate.
J = Jack off (masturbation headcanon)
They live in different parts of the world and are not together all the time, so masturbation goes on when they are apart.
K = Kink (one or more of their kinks)
Druig- Voyeurism Juni- breast play, switch Makkari- being sub
L = Location (favorite places to do the do)
Anywhere
M = Motivation (what turns them on, gets them going)
watching Juni dance or touching a certain spot
N = No (something they wouldn’t do, turn offs)
No chocking, or degrading that's not cool.
O = Oral (preference in giving or receiving, skill, etc.)
Juni likes giving and receiving. Makkari could stay in between their legs forever. Druig likes both he dosent have a preference.
P = Pace (are they fast and rough? slow and sensual? etc.)
slow and sensual all together but when broken into pairs fast, furious and playful.
Q = Quickie (their opinions on quickies, how often, etc.)
haven't done quickies.
R = Risk (are they game to experiment? do they take risks? etc.)
yes, all of the above. They've tried everything at least once.
S = Stamina (how many rounds can they go for? how long do they last?)
They can go 4 rounds of at least each of them orgasming 3x, with breaks in between. all of them may be immortal and not tire easily but breaks are needed.
T = Toys (do they own toys? do they use them? on a partner or themselves?)
Juni & Makkari have toys. They've used them on one another. But Druig does not.
U = Unfair (how much they like to tease)
Makkari & Juni tease incessantly to each other or to Druig. It's their favorite. Druig dosent tease them when they are all together. But will do it when they are in separate pairs.
V = Volume (how loud they are, what sounds they make, etc.)
all the sounds
W = Wild card (a random headcanon for the character)
Their entire relationship is my headcannon lol
X = X-ray (let’s see what’s going on under those clothes)
pffffff I'm not telling you what Juni looks like.
Y = Yearning (how high is their sex drive?)
Druig, Juni & Makkari spend at least 5 to ten years away from each other. So by the time they see each other again its on
Z = Zzz (how quickly they fall asleep afterwards)
Someone will stay awake till the other two go to sleep, then they will sleep themselves.

tagged by both @stannisfactions and @theangrypomeranian 🖤🖤 thank you friends!
How many works do you have on AO3?
67 but something new is popping up for halloween
2. What's your total AO3 word count?
so it says 976,114 but 266,429 of those words are from @baratheonbrotherspresent group written co-op fics
3. What fandoms do you write for?
primarily Fexi/Euphoria right now. but i've also written fics for ASOIAF/GoT, Eternals, Star Wars Sequel Trilogy, and Teen Wolf over the last near decade.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
your violent overnight rush (fexi) stages (jonsa) and i'll do anything you say (if you say it with your hands) (drukkari) slow hands (drukkari) and then a fic that i currently have hidden 😅
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
always! even if it's a quick TYSM FOR READING. i always appreciate when readers take the time to leave a comment, and i want to show my love back.
6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
i don't think i've written anything with an angsty ending tbh. yes, lots of angst in various fics, but i'm a happy ending girlie through and through.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
as stated above, im a happy ending girlie. but maybe my heart's gone double time if i had to choose.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
i haven't in a long time, but in the past yeah. like drove me away from a ship and shut down my interest in writing for like a solid year. it wasn't even about the writing, it was about the plot (a Sweet Home Alabama AU) and the comments were unnecessary (go read the wiki on the movie yall its not hard) and it just sucked lol. that was a hot minute ago though. we're good now.
9. Do you write smut? If so what kind?
hahahaha do i write smut???? i have an internal checklist of all the smutty things i haven't written yet that i want to give a go, so you could say that. (note: daddy kink is off the list and never to be seen from me again)
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
i do not! but i like to write a lot of AU's of different media.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
as far as i know of, no i haven't.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
i've had some offers in the past to have things translated back in the GoT days but i never gave the okay on it simply because it was a fic i never completed (ya girl used to get in over her head)
13. Have you ever cowritten a fic before?
technically the BBP fics are cowritten but we all did our own chapters following a basic outline of plot/storylines and worked around what other authors were posting. it was chaos and hilarious and the most fun i've ever had
14. What's your all-time favourite ship?
to write for? i'd have to say it's fexi, they unlocked a new level in my brain as an author. shout out to my favorite non-canon little crackship that could podrya though - i'll love you forever. to read? this is like asking someone to pick their favorite child. i've read so many incredible fics across a ton of different fandoms. but god i guess the ones i still seek out frequently is dasey and dramione. wouldn't say i have a favorite though?
15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
i really want to finish but the wolves came and went and i think i'm sitting on at least two chapters completed for it right now lol someday i'll sit down and finish writing the whole thing and get it posted.
16. What are your writing strengths?
plotting. world building. exposition. keeping characters in character. i've been told i'm good at writing big emotions too?
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
i've improved greatly but i still struggle with dialogue. 🙃
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
okay so. when i was writing slow hands as i got further into the story i really started describing the actual sign language being used by makkari and druig. hours of watching asl videos to pick out different words or phrases to translate. it was fun and it was hard work and i ended up with a whole new appreciation for asl. but it also felt important to really dig into describing the asl and i'm glad i did it.
19. First fandom you wrote for? ... and i'm still bitter about the cancelled reboot.
Tumblr media
20. Favourite fic you've ever written?
taking yvor out of the equation: my fexi warm bodies zombie au sharing different heartbeats mostly i go back and read it and go "wait i wrote this?" because i don't do zombies at all lol. i'm just very proud of it.

drukkari 😈😈 this is abt to get really good i can feel it
Tumblr media
I have known this 5 minutes of screentime ship for less than a month and have already written 2 fics, inhaled like 45 top fics in the tag and have 2 more extensive fics plotted out in my brain. HELP.
What made you ship it? I am a speedster slut as everyone already knows so it was not going to take very long for me to be obsessed with Makkari. And again, the ‘side characters’ superheroes who are best friends trope is literally my OTP drug. I thought Druig was a really interesting character too because his powers were very Brainwave-y which is usually a villain type power not a hero power so I was like oh??? And then I saw the way he spoke to Makkari “she also said stealing is very very bad 😏” and I was like .... what am I watching??? Druig??? FLIRTING?? And THEN we got to the holy Beautiful, beautiful Makkari scene and I literally have not been the same ever since. I am UNWELL. Like...HELLO??????? THE CHEMISTRY.
What are your favorite things about the ship? Their communication is so open which is really striking considering there is SO much mystery to their past and the nature of their relationship!! I am also obsessed with the way you can pair these two with mythological couples and the archetypes they represent. I am obsessed with the fact this is like ??? a slow burn ship over THOUSANDS OF YEARS????? And it’s private and secret and flirty but REAL and theirs alone?? I also really love Makkari’s love language both in how she expresses and receives is physical touch, you can even see it in her rage in the fight against Ikaris. She thought Druig was GONE. And she poured every fibre of her cosmic being into the grief that caused her. The layers of it all the LAYERS. And to find out so much of it was just IMPROV? EXCUSE ME???? We were NOT prepared. The potential here is unmatched. I am so excited to see these two together on the Domo stuck with Eros because....hey. Sticking two Eternals with obvious feelings for each other with the other Eternal with the speciality of these feelings? Yes. Double yes.
Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship? idk if i have one but i will use this space to say I want a drukkari wedding. I want to see Druig sign marriage vows KNOWING the risk and KNOWING what happened to Ikaris and Sersi and just not caring because he will love Makkari forever. Makkari will never be bored again. Goodbye.

My opinion on the Multiverse Saga so far.
So I know that Phase 4 was incredibly divisive and with Quantumania’s reception Phase 5 has already started the same trend. I don’t know if I am just easily pleasable but here are just quick thoughts on the Multiverse Saga.
WandaVision- Outside of having mild issues with the finale, great show. 9/10
Falcon and the Winter Soldier- Loved Walker. I mean I liked other things but by himself I loved this show. I thought the Flag Smashers were interesting but not too sympathetic in the grand deal. 8/10
Loki- Fantastic show. Enjoyed every character. HWR is fantastic in the finale. Favorite D+ show so far. 10/10
Black Widow- Fairly standard MCU movie. I liked Natasha and her family, Yelena especially. Also while I was not outraged, Taskmaster was boring. 6.5/10
What If?- Outside of some continuity issues, namely I am still confused as to how Thanos got 5 stones in 2015 in the Infinity Ultron episode and thinking that the Thor grows up as an only child episode could have gone in a more interesting way than he becomes a party fratbro douche, I really enjoyed this show. Hyped for the Tony and Gamora episode once Season 2 happens. 8/10
Shang-Chi- Just rewatched it last night. Fantastic, one of the best origin movies in the franchise. 9/10.
Eternals- It’ll have to take a rewatch, but I remember liking this movie in theaters. Maybe it was just because the sense of scale was impressive and made it an experience but I enjoyed it. Also some of the characters were great (Druig, Makkari, Thena, Gilgamesh) but it was kind of a mistake to have 10 new characters. 5.5/10
Hawkeye- Really liked this show. Great checking in on an underrated character, great seeing Yelena again and Kate is a great addition. 8/10
No Way Home- Loved this movie. Cemented Holland as my favorite live action-Spider-Man. Just an experience to watch it in theaters. 10/10
Moon Knight- I really hope Isaac comes back in some other project. He made this show. Other than that, nothing too special though the ending of the fourth episode is about as stunned as I have been watching anything ever. 8/10
Multiverse of Madness- Definitely requires a rewatch but I remember liking the movie for the most part but thinking that in spite of Olsen’s amazing performance, Wanda’s story was mishandled. Also the trailer did seem to imply the multiverse aspect would be played up more. 7.5/10
Ms. Marvel- Loved Kamala, loved Bruno and thought the first 3 episodes and finale were great, but the villains sucked and the 4th and 5th episodes were fairly boring. 7.5/10
Love and Thunder- I do think this movie has some good parts. The ending was great, when he did have screentime Gorr was great, Thor and Jane’s romance felt real unlike in the Dark World. But I agree with the point of the movie was too jokey. Also Korg seemingly dying but being reduced to a face that still makes annoying jokes and stating the obvious annoyed me almost as much as 3PO seemingly dying in Rise of Skywalker and then there being a back up memory file. 6/10
She-Hulk- Liked this show. Didn’t think there was anything special about it good or bad. Thought the last 2 episodes were great. Liked the fourth wall breaking though disliked Matt and Jen having sex since I was a huge Matt/Karen shipper from Daredevil Netflix. Also while the CG wasn’t that good I never thought it was terrible. 6/10
Werewolf By Night-Just really liked this, hope they do this sort of special more often. 9/10
Wakanda Forever- Loved this movie. While Ironheart’s introduction was a little clumsy and Ross’s plot is also clearly all set up, everything else is great. Namor is a great villain, I thought Shuri was thankfully a way better character than she was in any prior movie and Ramonda was just sublime. 9/10
Guardians Holiday Special- Just loved this special. Gunn has done no wrong in the whole franchise. Can’t wait for Guardians 3. 9/10
Quantumania- Loved Kang though his introduction has been clumsy. Scott is great as always and so was Janet. Also parts of it were just so wonderfully bizzare. On the other hand, Hope was just so irrelevant, and Cassie’s character change was kind of too abrupt. 6/10
Guardians 3- Just I have basically no words. It's absolutely fantastic. Rocket and Star-Lord in particular are done so well but it is just such a great finale to Hunt's trilogy. 9/10
Secret Invasion- This show generally sucked. Good first episode and the individual performances are great and Sonya is fantastic and that's it. Hated Talos's death, hated the Rhodey reveal. Hated the surprisingly low amount of intrigue and surprise. Also insane that Fury couldn't find the Skrulls a planet considering that Thanos's planet with the garden is empty. 3/10
Loki Season 2. Fantastic. If this is Loki's finale then it was a great ending to one of the best MCU characters ever. OB is fantastic the expansions to every old character except for Sylvie is done really well. OB is fantastic. In spite of his real life issues Majors is awesome. 9/10
The Marvels- Loved Kamala, The primary dynamic between the three leads is great, the Young Avengers setup was cool. The sequence where the Flerkens eat the SABER people was actually really funny. Kamala's family are great. Fury is entertaining. On the other hand the movie is too short and Dar-Benn is not a terrible villain but could have been great. 7/10

Finally got around to watching the Eternals, so spoilers I guess if you haven’t seen it.
Tumblr media
First of all, the quizzes I took that say I’m a mixture of Dan Whitman and Sersi… accurate as fuck. I adore them both very much.
Gotta say, I’m kinda jealous of whatever gender Sprite has going on. But in all honesty I feel bad for them. Kingo’s whole Peter Pan speech actually made me feel bad. When Sprite said “Why did Arishem make me this way?” I actually choked up a bit. Like I’m so sorry he failed you kiddo. I’ve thought about it many times when I think about vampire lore, but imagine how much it would suck to be seen as a child for all eternity. When you’re literally thousands of years older than anyone currently around you.
Fucking Gilgamesh was the light of my fucking life. He is the best part of this movie and I will die on that fucking hill. It’s bullshit what they did to him. Ajax didn’t hit me that hard because we don’t get to know her nearly as much. But god fucking Damn it, give me my boy back.
Side note, I don’t really like Kingo that much. I just don’t think our personalities gel well. In all honestly, despite how much talent he clearly has, I’m not really a fan of any of that actors characters. I just don’t like the way his character didn’t take anything seriously.
Thena killed me. I’m a sucker for all Angelina Jolie characters. But imagine slowly loosing your mind and being forced to try and kill the people you love most in the world. Especially after she lost Gil, like what the duck, can she live? Can she fucking live? I wanna give my baby girl a hug.
I don’t think I have to say much about Druig, I think we all knew I’d love him. I wanna it’s Barry Keoghan. I’ve been mimicking his stupid adorable accent this whole movie! I think mind control is always one of those powers I’d be truly terrified to have. Like he tried to use them to protect people, and do the right thing. But talking away free will isn’t right. Also the way he flirts with Makkari 🥺 I want that.
I’ll make Phatos and Sersi quick. They are Both adorable and I love them and I wish them nothing but happiness. Like Phatos and his husband and his loiter boy were so cute. God I could watch a whole movie just of them interacting. I love to see POC characters being in the main action!
Least favorite is Ikaris. I hate his stupid smug face, and that silly little hair cut. White boy coming in here and ruining the vibes. Sure his power is kinda cool or whatever. But like even before the twist of the movie, I didn’t like him from the second he showed up. Sersi and Dan are perfect, and Ikaris needs to keep his nose out of their business. Get over her man. Gross.
Now to my favourite character ever. MAKKARI! My sweet baby girl. One she’s literally the hottest person I’ve ever seen, both physically and in personality. Oh my god and the way she signs is mesmerising. I kept reminding the movie just to watch her hands move. I will always love a character who knows sign language, and I think the representation is super important.
If you guys would like any Eternal fics or headcannons let me know. Because I feel cool writing them now that I have seen their cannon interpretations outside of the comics alone.

My MCU Phase 4 MOVIE Ranking
Since MCU Phase 4 has come to a close, and I just watched Black Panther Wakanda Forever, I am going to give my ranking- did anyone need this? No. But I'm the one voluntarily choosing to state my opinions online.
DISCLAIMERS: not ranking the shows, just the movies- maybe I'll do a separate post for the shows?
I thought about it but I will be mentioning spoilers. I didn't know how else to rank them without using evidence from the films to back up my justifications.
The movies aren't in position of best-worst or anything like that, they are only just listed in the order they were released.
Okay, let's get into it.
Black Widow:
7/10, or maybe even 8/10 for me. Overall, I personally thought it was decent. I know there were a LOT of people who gave it negative reviews. I remember seeing so many bad things about it from people when it came out. But honestly, is it the worst thing Marvel has made? Imo, no. I won't get into the nitty gritty, or the Taskmaster stuff, but I liked getting to see Natasha again- even though we know this was before she died. And Florence Pugh as Yelena stole the show for me. Black Widow is (was?) also one of my favorite Avengers, so I personally have a soft spot in my heart.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings:
8/10 or maybe 8.5/10 for me. I am hesitant to push it toward a 9/10. Here's why and let me explain. I am aware that some people are THIRSTY for Tony Leung. I don't understand that, however it's your life, not mine. BUT I will say he did a damn good job being a complex character. I don't like him for giving Shang Chi trauma, but I think he did good being morally gray. Even though I got frustrated as F sometimes with his character. Shang Chi I actually liked. His dynamic with Katy? Great. I like Awkwafina tbh. Xu Xialing being the badass sister? Iconic. Although I hope she doesn't turn evil based off that post credit scene (another reason why I'm hesitant to give it a 9/10- I just want her to be good okay? Can't have TOO many morally complex people) The cinematography was great. Finally, as someone who is Asian (specifically Chinese0 but I was adopted) the Asian representation was decent. You know, it wasn't anything super mold breaking but for big names like Disney and Marvel, I give a nod.
Eternals:
3/10 or 4/10 at MOST. I honestly don't even remember most of this movie. I didn't even really have many expectations going into it, but.. yeah let's just say it was not my favorite. I didn't really like Sersi and Icarus together. I honestly felt like their characters were boring tbh. Druig and Makkari though? That's the REAL ship. And representation for the deaf! It's a start! Also, I will be crying eternally over Gilgamesh dying. The one thing about the plot that mainly interested me was Dane Whitman. I admit I am interested in seeing how the Black Knight storyline will be explored further. Other than that, Eternals was not really a memorable MCU film for me.
Spiderman No Way Home:
A solid 8/10. I think we can all agree this one was the MOST hyped up movie from Phase 4. Like ever. The hype was so real. I LIVED through it all. What a world to live in. Everyone was avoiding spoilers left and right. Anyway. I DID like the film overall since it continued the storyline of Peter's identity being discovered, and a bit of Dr. Strange's storyline. Obviously, the cameo from Tobey and Andrew was great to see. Although I admit I did not grow up watching Tobey and Andrew's versions of Spiderman, I felt the kind of "magic" experience of seeing the original folks back on screen permeate through me. HOWEVER. The only reason I cannot score this one any higher is because I didn't like the ending. I haven't really seen much and it has been a while, but do others hate the ending? What is the universal opinion? I may just look it up on a Reddit thread later. Anyway, I personally didn't like that ending. Why would you do the memory wipe trope??? I mean, was that actually the ONLY solution to Peter nearly tearing apart the space time continuum and fabric of the universe??? So Ned and MJ are just gonna have to continue on. I can't think about it too much or I may get emo actually. To end it on a good note, it was cool seeing the old villains from the universe as well.
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness:
7/10. Yeah. I had to think for a second. But 7/10 feels right for this one. It wasn't really my favorite, but I didn't think it was the worst. And oh god, there seems to be a LOT of controversy around this one. By controversy, I also just mean basically mixed opinions. From what I've seen/heard, people either really hate this one or they're like, alright. It's mid. Also, for a movie that has Doctor Strange in the title, I sure did see the entire world talking mostly about Wanda. I don't know. It feels like this movie was just chaotic? Specifically in terms of the storyline, I mean. Like, I thought it was interesting that this was the movie they decided on to introduce America Chavez into the MCU. I think it could have been easier for people to follow maybe just one major character? So the focus isn't constantly shifting? Maybe that's just me. Also, is Stephen just destined to be alone now? Idk about the comics because I don't really read those, but like, I guess he's never ending up with Christine in any universe. Is the Darkhold like actually destroyed for real? What the fuck is the storyline now?? I've seen/heard rumors of the next movie actually being Dimension of Darkness (hence the post credit scene) but like what would the plot be? Again, I don't read the comics so idk if they touch on that, but yeah Doctor Strange's timeline/story and character arc is just one of the weirdest in the MCU for me I guess.
Thor Love and Thunder:
8/10. Yes, I WILL defend this movie. Despite it being another Phase 4 movie which got crapped on, I liked it. If Thor Love and Thunder has 100 fans, I am one of them. If Thor Love and Thunder has 10 fans, I am one of them. If Thor Love and Thunder has only 1 fan, I am that fan. You get the gist. I think people were just so shocked for once that it wasn't their usual type of superhero movie. First of all, what does that even mean. Just let people enjoy their silly little movies, damn. I will admit, was it the strongest plot? Meh. But I did enjoy the dialogue a lot. I liked seeing Thor, Jane, and Valkyrie again. If you can't even think of Korg without getting offended, then you can just leave. Also, Christian Bale did an amazing job at being a villain. I will give him that. I will say that was one of the highlights of this movie probably tbh. I was so shook. As someone who watched Newsies, I was just like "he was Jack Kelly and now he's this" LOL.
Okay. And I know- most of know by now that Jane died, and some people didn't like that- yeah, I was sad too- but I thought it made sense for her character. Like I said, I'll play the defender. Also, because I thought it was impactful about how it paralleled Gorr and Love's relationship. And it was a metaphor for her going to Valhalla. She died in her OWN battle. But yeah, the storyline now with Thor will be interesting. I wonder what his next adventure will be. And if there's people out there still pressed about this movie, I'll just say I don't think Taiki Waititi cares.
Black Panther Wakanda Forever:
8.5/10. I just recently watched this one and I am still processing it. So I may not have as many fully formed thoughts on this movie compared to the others, but if I were to give keywords, I would say impactful and emotional. I went on Instagram and Twitter and there seems to be a majority of people who liked it. However, the main negatives I saw were issues with Shuri or Riri. Which is a whole discussion within itself. Also the storyline and length. I understand people thinking it dragged on. I went with one of my friends to watch the movie and she told me afterwards it felt a bit long to her. I can get that. But I WOULD argue with you on the cinematography. I thought that visually the film was great. The underwater scenes were fine with me. The costuming as well. I thought it did fine honoring Chadwick Boseman. To those who say it wasn't enough for them though, I just have to ask, ok, what would you have done instead? Like, yeah I saw some people saying Riri shouldn't have been introduced in the movie, and Shuri should have just stayed a scientist. So what would YOU make the storyline? And that's all I have to say on that. Aside from that, the soundtrack was great though. Overall, I think this film was one of the best for me of Phase 4. And it was a beautiful way to end it.

Idk man, the eternals (while definitely having some interesting and problematique optics) wasn’t bad. I think a lot of people forget they have to buy into the logic of the movie world and just have fun with it. It felt like a good exploration of what living for millennia might do to a group of people deigned as gods, but who also still view themselves as family. Yeah the exposition was clunky but what can you do when you have to drop decades of comic history in 2 1/2 hours?
#also…maybe it’s just me but phastos saying I regret helping humanity advance#didn’t mean he directly contributed to Hiroshima and nuclear weaponry rather than any tech he offered us would result in our advancement to#that point and he regretted /that/#idk I’d say bad optics to give it to the only black actor but he wasn’t? and the cast was the most diverse I’ve ever seen in a marvel film#(in any mainstream pop culture film actually) and it was grappling with such big themes that idk it feels like#people critiquing it so much really want to see diverse films and creators fail#text#also makkari and druig were my favorite characters#Gilgamesh hit close to#top character but idk the way druig and makkari interacted was so much#also critiquing the eternals for not preventing human conflicts isn’t valid and I’ll tell you why:#they’re not real people they’re storytelling devices and the conflict between ajak and druig was free-will vs control#like would you rather we exist as unfeeling robots for a god above us to control? or allow us to be messy and fucked up but autonomous#that’s what that’s about. they’re not real people so their actions can’t be judged morally#phastos was also the sweetest man ever I loved him so much#him and sersi#also all of the eternals were so very hot#thank you Chloe zhao#also Karuns little thank you speech meant so much to me I was 🥺#do wish that kumail#was in the final fight but I think the internal family conflict - paralleling him and ikarus- was so cool#I loved how they contrasted each other - the not turning on family thing and being neutral was wrong but 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️ idk someone had to#and his powers were the least instrumental to the final fight#*when I say most diverse I do mean it showed a range of races gender and sexuality

Watched the Eternals, now onto some thoughts.
MAJOR Spoilers on this whole thing. If you wanna watch it (without spoiling yourself), DO NOT READ ON.
Things I liked about the movie:
Makkari- loved her character; from the first time I saw her onscreen. Love that she’s disabled/ uses ASL and that the others try to accommodate her!
Also love the way she generally talks with her body’s fluidity and facial expressions. (She’s literally so funny and quirky, her humor is so dry and delivered on point.)
All in all, prbly one of my new favorite characters from MARVEL of all time
Also Drukkari (Druig x Makkari)
Tumblr media
Love that they show diverse stances on humanity and how it should have evolved vs. how it has evolved and how much potential it still has (Druig abandoning the eternals as the easiest example that comes to mind)
very poetic death/ suicide on Ikaris‘ behalf; what with him choosing to die by flying into the sun- to honor Sprite‘s story of Icarus (who died, when he was escaping confinement, by using feathers that were glued together with wax and even though his father warned him not to fly too close to the sun- he did so anyways- thus the wax melting and him drowning)
Ajak‘s character- great acting choice, great portrayal- also well developed conscience
Now onto some things what I’m confused about/ didn’t really need/ didn’t like etc.
First things first:
why did the directors choose Ikaris and Dane Whitman to look alike so much?? (same style, hair cut, hair color, beard, etc.)
Tumblr media
can attest to being confused about this until Dane and Ikaris showed up in the same frame?? (I literally thought Dane was Ikaris in the teaching scene)
also the whole thing with Ikaris being devoted to Arishem and Ajak- which yeah no makes sense
BUT THEN not talking about knowing what their mission is about/ leaving Sersi without giving her a reason?? + being torn in half by his love for her and his devotion to the mission
The THING THAT BUGS ME THE MOST OKAY: why tf can he leave Sersi for approximately 500 years without notice because he loves her too much and would tell her what’s supposed to happen, if he’d live with her and then he returns and we don’t see him struggling to talk to her/ being guilt ridden etc.??
YEAH MHM AND HERE COMES THE REAL DEAL BREAKER FOR ME (again major spoiler, but if you’ve made it this far, you prbly don’t care)- he doesn’t kill Sersi to carry out the mission?? Even tho he killed Ajak, basically Gilgamesh, tried to kill Druig and has Sprite on his side?? And he in his reasoning says: I don’t have a purpose (besides loving Sersi) and b* you wouldn’t have either way?? You literally would be unhappy either way. Either you kill Sersi and the mission is being carried out and then eternal sleep or next planet or whatever (and Arishem makes essentially a “new” Sersi for you) or you don’t get her or the mission done and then kill yourself anyway??
Tumblr media
Well guess what? you could just choose to forfeit the mission and explain and then redeem yourself instead of being a goddamn drama queen, Sersi literally forgave you (I mean she’s pro humanity, yeah?) and was willing to do so- basically Ikaris died because of his own pride and there was quite no need for such dramatics??
The writers literally took the easy way out on this one lmao- MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE WHOLE MARVEL UNIVERSE in the next paragraph (SKIP IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE SPOILED)
Dane Whitman, who later on is going to become the black knight, will prove his worth in being Percival’s ancestor, lift the curse on the sword, essentially become immortal and thus is going to become the perfect “untainted” hero/ love interest for Sersi
Tumblr media
Still I am alright (just peachy) with that- but what has that got to do with anything, you might ask?
Well: Sersi still looks like she wants to gallop into the sunset with Ikaris, even though she apparently has gotten over her feelings for him (which btw- in the last scene, she looks ready to jump him and leave Dane every sec she is on screen with Ikaris, even more so when Ikaris tells her that he’s still terribly in love with her)
No problem there- how could that have been solved- a little bit “easier” (without the whole ‘Emotional Damage’ thing) without straining too far from the original plot;
Work through the relationship issues, give them a consensual ‘yeah this doesn’t work, let’s divorce’
Character growth for him- the potential and conflict is there, just needs a little intelligence boost to connect the dots (and lay off of the drama)
Give him the relationship/ closure with Sprite ( I don’t care in what form but that would have gotten them both farther than what happened in the movie??)
Now onto Sprite: this is a mixed one, bear with me-
Tumblr media
Positive things: love her unconventional look, also her mind of a teenager (great acting choices on that note- the displeasure and conflict in choosing sides, confusing feelings of love- YESSS GIVE ME MORE)
The fact that she’s always in Sersi’s shadow and the whole unrequited love thing with Ikaris gives an understanding edge to her character, which makes her driven and thus conflicted and opposing to Sersi’s kindness (very interesting take!)
Things that I didn’t really get at the end of the movie: why was she turned into a human?? She literally has no connection to being/ wanting to be a human, she wanted to kill them for God’s sake?? (except for the fact that she wants to be able to fall in love)
Uhhhh yeah great concept- how about showing her that she doesn’t need to change her appearance to be loved (I mean they tried in Kingo commenting exactly that but?? where did that train of thought go)
And the second thing about that concept, just let Sersi make her older/ change her appearance or whatever (she literally has some of the power enforced by the Uni- mind left and it is implied that she could do anything in that moment??)- furthermore, we saw that she had a preferred appearance in the beginning of the movie and relationships also work between eternals and humans (or different creatures, honey the world’s so big, especially you should know actually)
There definitely would have been a better way to solve that issue (also we were shown that she doesn’t enjoy life as a human teenager (who is stripped of her original powers)??)
You literally could have given her a redemption arc together with Ikaris, them falling for each other, learning from their mistakes, etc.?? Would have given the plot a little more bumps to cover on the road, aka more interesting side plot lines
Next thing on my wonderful train of thought: mahd wy’ry (the dementia like sickness)
the kinda cure to that sickness that literally was: remember me pls, touching hands like in Tarzan?? Like yeah hella sweet Gilgamesh but what the actual
Tumblr media
I just waited for Thena to loose a grip on her sanity when they were fighting Ikaris in the final battle (like honey- who thought it would be a good idea for you to fight when you literally could turn on your comrades-in-arms at any second??)
(Edit: at one point, it’s going to be muckus because this isn’t only negative thoughts anymore but sprinkled with positive stuff as well)
Gilgamesh on the other hand- loved his character- would love him to be written that way again (all of it: his cooking, charm and empathy, would have loved to see more of Thena x Gilgamesh)
Tumblr media
What was Karun’s purpose on the other hand?? Screen time? Comic relief? (didn’t need his character to be in the film at all) lovely actor tho, great character portrayal (just could have done without him)
Kingo and Phastos on the other hand didn’t get enough (good) screen time to my liking
Kingo- I just, I really don’t know lol, very undermining character, not the appearance and the way he was portrayed, just the way he was written, using bad overdone movie lines which showed no character depth? It’s a no from me- give him a little more character depth and remove Karun from always lurking around the corner and I’m in
Tumblr media
On a good note! Loved Phastos! We have an openly gay (LGBTQ+) character, I could whoop with joy. Has a great partner and son. He himself is smart and tries to protect his family time and time again. Definitely would want to watch him written that way again- also he’s got that character depth that I was missing from Kingo (with his awareness of technological advances and Leonardo Davinci like thinking coupled with the knowledge that evolution can be dangerous)
Tumblr media
On another note: what purpose served those deviants? We’ve got great analogies through the whole movie that they’ve become predators and thus must be eradicated. But you know what a predator essentially is? A hunter. And what are the eternals doing again. Right. Hunting the predators, which in turn makes them the predators. Nevermind the original question.
Their purpose was to move the plot along. What I didn’t really understand is- why didn’t the deviants pair up with the eternals, when it became clear that both of them were trying to survive Arishem/ the mission aka had the same goal?
There’s also never been a sequence that stated, that deviants had to prey on humans?? What were they lusting after? What were their goals? They literally just seemed to want to survive. That’s a big plot hole for a movie whose first halve essentially is eternals vs. deviants. Just give me something to work with here ://
Tumblr media
I genuinely enjoyed Sersi as the “main”character. Her display of powers and love for humanity was great. The conflict she showed when faced with her two love interests opposed to that was lacking. I didn’t really get the feeling that she (as an actress) has decided on either Dane or Ikaris, even though her character apparently did- the portrayal just wasn’t clear enough on that front. I love how she gained more character depth as the plot progressed and was impressed and proud of her when she turned the celestial/ sucked the energy out of Tiamut.
Confused again you could say: how the hell is the celestial Tiamut supposedly waking up, if he uses humanity’s energy? All humans were shown to be alive and no worse off?
Druig! Also loved his character. My brain has left the chat at this point. Great powers, great conflict, interesting interactions with the different eternals, moved the plot along. Can’t be mad at his characterization or character portrayal. Well done!
This has become a monster length wise (to write this has taken longer than the actual movie). Whoops. Enjoy.
Maybe I’ll do a second part, which concentrates more on the plot, history and a little bit of accuracy (but who knows *sigh*).
An another note: Harry Styles? Really??

I saw Eternals and... WOW! I LOVE IT!!!
This is a spoiler-free review but first, how the hell was I able to watch it? Well...
Tumblr media
Yes, it's out there.
Why did I watch it when it's gonna be released this Friday? Because theaters are still closed in my country and I can't wait to watch it. BUT, even if I've already seen it, I will still watch it in the theaters with my bro as it became our tradition to watch Marvel movies in the theaters together. So, on to the review.
I've seen some of the negative reviews from the press screening and now that I've seen the movie, I don't get what they're talking about. Critics kept saying it was dense when it's not (imo). Especially if you're the type that loves mythology or world-building, you'll like this movie as I do. It's pretty easy to understand. Although, I do know the background of the Eternals since I read the Neil Gaiman comics so maybe that helped but I imagine, it really isn't that complicated.
If you're not familiar with the comics, it's basically Ancient Aliens. Of course there's more to it than that but it's a spoiler.
Some complained that they never felt an emotional connection towards the characters so the movie was boring to them. I get it, I know that feeling but towards a different movie: the recent Suicide Squad. Yes, I didn't like that movie, it was boring. I'm sorry. I only felt for Harley and the scenes I loved in that movie were those with her.
Eternals never felt boring to me because, although there were many characters introduced, I felt for them. I connected. I felt the triumphs, the disappointments, the conflict, the hate, the love, the joy and the wonder. I felt for each of the characters so I get why they do what they do and the reason for their decision in the end. For example, there's a reason why Kingo decided to become an actor and it pulled my heartstrings. The bond between Gilgamesh and Thena, yes! This movie made me cry!
Some might say I connected because I read the comics but no, it's not that. The comics is a different universe. The MCU have every right to be different from the comics because it's a separate universe. So any characterization from the comics may not carry over the film. Hell, Druig surprised me so there's that.
Now, who's my favorite character? It's hard to pick just one because I like all of them. Some I love to hate because of their decision in the end but I get why they did that. I may not agree with their point of view, but I get it. I love Gilgamesh and Thena. I also love Makkari and Druig. They're my otp now. Drakkari forever! Sprite is the Claudia (Interview with the Vampire) of the group so, yes!
But I say my favorite is Phastos. (minor spoilers) When he kissed his husband goodbye I'm like, yes! Then I anxiously watched because I have a need for him to stay alive! I need him to return home safe and be with his family! When he said, "I wouldn't change a single thing about who I am!" I felt that. And in the final battle (because of course this is still a Marvel movie), he fought with technology. Those who follow me here knows I love Tony Stark so yes, give me a hero that fights not with brawns but with brains.
Oh btw, there is a sex scene but it's nothing to huff and puff about. Definitely not something that will make you clutch your pearls or something. I was looking forward to that because I've read people didn't like it if there's a sex scene in their Marvel movie and I'm like
Tumblr media
It's not explicit. I'm like, "That's it?" Seriously, some people just nitpick to hate on this movie. There's a sex scene, get over it! Phastos is gay, get over it. The cast is diverse, get over it! Thena has mental health issues, get over it!
Is there something that I don't like in this movie? I kept rewinding the movie in my head to think of one that broke me out of the immersion but there's nothing. Maybe I want it to be longer because I want to stay in it's world, to learn more and to see more. There's nothing that destroyed my enjoyment of the movie.
Do I recommend the movie? Definitely! Don't listen to the critics (even me). Make your own opinion.

hawuu can i get "Are you blushing?" / "I'm just cold." And Accidentally Matching Costumes For Druig
A/N: HAWUU! I love this for Druig! Thanks for the request, anon!
Grease Is The Word
Summary: You didn’t mean to match your crush when it came to a costume. Really, you didn’t.
Tumblr media
Warnings: Fluff all the way!
Tumblr media
The front door opened, you grinned as Kingo appeared at the door, whistling as he took in the costume you were wearing. The party was lardy in full swing inside his house, at least 20 people were seen piled in his living room and dancing to the retro 80s music that was blasting out of his speakers and all sporting red solo cups in hand.
"Wow! You look great as....." Kingo trailed off, not knowing who you were. You giggled, doing small twirl in front of him. The black, skin tight leather jeans you were in, fitting like a glove to highlight the curves along your thighs and hips with the black strapless tube top that showed off your waist brought your outfit all together. You also sported high heels, a black leather jacket that was wrapped over your shoulders, bright red lipstick along your lips, and your hair in the fancy curls that matched the character you were dressed up as.
"Sandy?" You asked gesturing to your outfit. Kingo still looked confused, you snorted, “Oh come on, Kingo! Grease? This is Sandy!"
"Ah, gotcha!" He said, you sighing in relief, "Not my favorite musical, but you still look good. Come on in, the others are in the kitchen and hanging out. I need to check on Sprite and make sure she's not staring about story time session out in the background,"
You followed Kingo into his house, hearing the music humming against your skin and bones since it was so loud. People were dancing left and right, dressed in various costumes from the Cat In The Hat to sexy nurses and doctors. You were itching to get a drink to get the cold off your shoulders since it was a bit cooler that evening, and inwardly you were hoping that were was more than just light beer or hard liquor to nurse on.
Finally, you pushed through the kitchen door and the loud music melted away instantly. You grinned, seeing the familiar friend group that you grew to love all huddled together and dinking some of the spiked hot cider that was sitting on the counter. They all saw you and waved, your roommate Makkari dressed as Joan of Arc in makeshift armor glided over to place a warm cup fo cider in yoru hands.
Thank you, you signed at her, Makkari grinning with a nod before she gestured to your outfit, I like your costume!
"You can pull off the Sandy look real well," Sersi hummed in agreement, you blushing a bit from the kind compliment.
"Thank you," you replied, looking around at the group and then raising an eyebrow, "Where's Druig?"
"Waiting on your crush?" Ikaris asked coyly, a grin on his lips as Sersi swatted his arm to hush him. In your mind, you never thought your curls on Druig was obvious, but that wasn't the case with this group. They could see how smitten you were with the black sheep of the group, no matter how you were trying to hide it or move it under the radar. But Druig was a different breed all together: the cool demeanor in his stance and stares to the cool tone in his voice and smiles.
He had a lot on his mind, you itching to unveil it and see what he had in his brain that made him tick. He was also kind, looking to help out those in need without being boisterous about or flaunt it in public. He preferred to do his acts of service in private, whether it was pulling the weeds in his older neighbors yard or paint the homes of the homeless shelters downtown. He was kind to you none the less, always wishing to talk to you and know what was on your mind. The smiles he gave you felt personal and private, more intimate than anything you've ever felt before.
Those butterflies were always there and were intensified over the months you grew close to him.
"He said he would be here 10 minutes ago," Phastos replied, looking at his phone, "I swear the guy likes to keep us waiting,"
The kitchen door swung open, boots were heard on the limonium floor.
"Speaking of which," Gilgamesh said in a snort as the kitchen door was thrown open. You all looked, seeing none other than Druig waltzing into the kitchen with his signature smirk on his face. You saw his costume and for a spit moment, you were frozen solid. It seemed liked everything was slowing down as you two locked eyes and you both froze in your spots. The black T-Bird leather jacket, black tight shirt and fitted pants with boots, hair styled to the side.
You've got to be kidding.....
"Are you two...." Ikaris trailed off, looking from you to Druig, and then from Druig to you. You both were still looking at each other, seeing what the other was wearing and you felt as though you two were the only people in the tiny cramped kitchen. Druig's blue eyes scanning your attire making you looking like you were under a microscope and being analyzed with every part of your costume, and flushness was on his skin.
He gulped. Physically gulped.
"Danny and Sandy?" Sersi asked, sounding a but shocked as Makkari was massively grinning from ear to ear, Phastos was hiding his grin behind his hand over his mouth, Thena was smiling as she cranked her Cider and Gilgamesh was trying not to laugh. You should be embarrassed, but something else was taking over you and Druig was seeing your costume and looking rather..hot under the collar so to speak.
"This is too good," Ikaris snorted under his breath to Sersi, who once again swatted his arm with her fingers as Druig found his voice again for the first time in what felt like an hour when it was only a few minutes.
"You look great," He said in a hum to you, and you heard the hint of softness in his voice as he pointed to your outfit. You grinned, a simple smile that seemed to break the ice a bit as Druig smiled back at you and brought the warmth in your cheeks. "Thank you, Druig. You look....really great too," You complimented him, Druig nodding his head at you and then moving over to the cup that Makkari was holding out to him as you moved out of the way. You were replaying that gaze he gave you in your head over and over, feeling that same sensation of warmth and happiness in your gut as you moved to stand next to Sersi and Ikaris. You might have looked like a silly girl with a massive grin on your face, but didn't care.
You were only thinking about Druig and his smile he gave you.
"Are you blushing?" Phastos asked in a low tone to Druig, whom was rubbing the back of his head with a hint of embarrassment while holding his cider in hand. Druig gave him a scowl.
"No! I'm just....cold," he bit back, Phastos just rolling his eyes as you were watching briefly. The blush on his cheeks was scene, a contrast to his pale skin and his bright eyes made him look vulnerable. There was never a time you ever saw him in such a way, he always held his head high and never letting his guard down for one second. But seeing his vulnerable side for a split moment seemed surreal, and it was from seeing you in a costume he never thought you would be in.
Neither you or Druig saw Makkari, leaning against the countertop on the other side of the kitchen, looking rather smug herself while posting the red solo cup of cider to her lips. Thena walked over to stand next to her, gently nudging her shoulder to get Makkari's attention before she spoke in a low tone so that neither you or Druig could hear her, "You told them to dress as Danny and Sandy without letting the other know, didn't you?"
Makkari just grinning and nodding her head, Thena chuckling and squeezing her shoulder.
"Well, done," She hummed Makkari, who just drank her cider with no sign of her smile melting away.
The End.

drukkari x taylor swift songs/lyrics
this is pretty long and probably very inaccurate but i tried !!
daylight // i don’t want to look at anything else now that i saw you
——
as we especially can see in the scene where the other eternals reunite with makkari, she and druig are nearly incapable of keeping their eyes off of each other. in addition to this, druig uses the word ‘beautiful’ to describe makkari on multiple occasions.
i almost do // and i wish i could run to you
——
this whole song reminds me of a more angsty version of what takes place between them during those 500 years where they’re separated. it’s from the perspective of someone who wants to reach out to their lover, but is scared of having to say goodbye again. while i’d rather believe that she visited him, i also like to imagine this being makkari’s thought process after they all split up
paper rings // i like shiny things but i’d marry you with paper rings
——
obviously, makkari likes shiny things. we see her steal on multiple occasions throughout the movie, so she definitely fits this lyric. i think that their love for each other is so strong that she doesn’t even care if the rings are paper, she just wants to be with the man she loves
dress // they got no idea about me and you
——
a lot of their moments are more subtle and private. it takes their teammates 7,500 years to realize that they have feelings for each other, which fits this lyric to a t.
come back… be here // and this is when the feeling sinks in, i don’t wanna miss you like this
——
this is another one that reminds me of those 500 years where they were separated. one of the first things he asks her after they reunite is ‘did you miss me’ and it’s clearly more of a soft moment between them. i do think that makkari visited druig sometimes, but this is probably how they felt when they weren’t together.
i think he knows // i ain’t gotta tell him, i think he knows
——
their connection is so unique and strong that they don’t even have to speak to know what the other is thinking. their chemistry is off the charts, and there’s never a moment that we see where they confess their feelings to each other, i like to imagine that it was clear to them from the beginning.
cardigan // and when i felt like i was an old cardigan, under someone’s bed, you out me on and said i was your favorite
——
sometimes, druig seems neglected by the other eternals. told that he shouldn’t use his powers, labeled as the grumpy one of the group. makkari saw through all of this and treated him the same. she only teased him for using his powers, and she didn’t care that he wasn’t as bubbly as some of the others. she simply loved him for who he was.
king of my heart // and all at once, you are the one i have been waiting for
——
this entire song, really, is about finding someone who you love more than anything and i feel like that really fits these two.
wildest dreams // say you’ll see me again, even if it’s just in your wildest dreams
——
here’s another one that fits the time after they separated! again, this would be a more angsty version where they both want to see each other but never actually take that first step. this is the song that i think fits one of them reminiscing on what they once had.
peace // all these people think love’s for show, but i would die for you in secret
——
as i said before, these two have many more private moments. on the flip side, ikarus and sersi have more moments that everyone sees (their wedding, their flirting, etc). they do have some private moments, but i think that this fits drukkari more. plus, they seem to care about each other so much that they would die for each other. makkari goes up against one of the strongest eternals he hurts druig, not caring about whether or not she gets hurt.
call it what you want // starry eyes sparking up my darkest night
——
this lyric is more of a happy one, and i’d like to think of it as something druig would think. he does seem to have an emotional depth that many characters do not have, and makkari is there to make him smile when he’s gone too far into the depths of his own mind. this does sort of boil them down to angry boy-sunshine girl, but i still really like this lyric.
enchanted // counter all your quick remarks, like passing notes in secrecy
——
druig and makkari flirt/tease each other a lot, which is why i chose this lyric. this song is about meeting someone who is perfect for you, and i like to imagine it as drukkari’s ‘first’ meeting on the domo. i’d like to think that they were able to have this in every world, but it’s hard to say. they do seem to be tailored for each other, though. makkari is described as a character who has to have all of the answers, whereas druig likes to ask difficult questions. this alludes to the fact that they are made for each other.

I saw Eternals last night and oh boy oh boy do I have feelings about it.
So I've seen criticisms about the pacing of the film and how it felt draggy or boring at times but I sat through MoS and BvS so in good faith I cannot say I was ever bored during my first watch of Eternals. If anything I actually needed the moments of quiet and extended transitions to help me process whatever the last scene had thrown at me. There was a lot of information to absorb throughout the whole movie and it helped to stop me from getting confused. The film's score is fucking superb (of course it is, it's Ramin fucking Djawadi) and the cinematography and costumes are beautiful and engaging. You can just absolutely tell a woman directed this film and it works so well.
*Spoilers begin*
I love characters. Holy fuck do I love characters. Ensemble movies are really hard to do justice to but even moreso when the entire ensemble is brand new characters. Cloe Zhao had to make us love an entire 10+ character cast in like two hours and at least for me she succeeded.
I loved Thena so much; the powerhouse tank goddess of war suffering from celestial android PTSD that winds up being the key to the truth about the Eternals themselves was AMAZING. Her partnership with Gilgamesh and how he cared for her and protected her so perfectly while still retaining his own unique personality was perfect; I loved them the way I loved Aquaman's parents. His death was the one to actually get to me and half of that was Angelina Jolie's acting in that scene really selling it to me.
Every single second Kingo is on screen after the timeskip is literally the best. I love his presence as a character and how believable he is as an entire dynasty of Bollywood movie stars. He's entertaining as fuck but still deep and intriguing as a character and I'm very excited to see more from him.
Druig is probably my favorite Eternal by personality and design alone; the fact that he was the first Eternal to question the parameters of their mission and demand to understand why they couldn't intervene even when the humans around them were causing chaos and war. He isn't even necessarily the most ethical of them despite this, considering he was running a mind-control cult in South America when we find him in the modern day, but he's just so intriguing! Plus his relationship with Makkari is just 10/10, absolutely adorable. Speaking of Makkari, I feel like she's going to get a more prominent role in the follow-up film and I'm glad for it. I love speedster characters as a rule and her personality is extremely fun and cute and quirky and I love that she speaks exclusively in ASL. I'm also on the side of "glad that Makkari and Druig didn't kiss" because quite honestly Hollywood has ruined kiss scenes for me 🤷 physically intimate moments that don't include kissing (see; the hug at the end of Rogue One) and that leave the nature of a relationship up for interpretation are my JAM. I'm not sure if I want to view Makkari and Druig as romantic just yet and I get that option because I didn't have to watch them make out. Similarly, I thought the hand-touch scenes between Ikaris and Sersi were so much more profound and moving than anything else they did.
Especially that sex scene. That's literally the only thing I would straight-up cut from the film entirely if I had the option. It went on too long and didn't add anything beneficial or meaningful to the story. It was definitely the sauciest scene Marvel has ever put in a movie but it was unnecessary.
I felt a little shafted when I realized Ajak was already dead at the start of the film. I see why she needed to be, since even after the split of the team during the Inquisition she still had an air of unquestionable authority and if she were alive for any part of the active plot it would have detracted from Sersi's arc in a big way. Also, her armor design was the absolute coolest.
Phastos was BRILLIANT. Absolutely phenomenal from his character design to his growth as a person to his actor's performance. He was animated and present and fascinating in every possible way, and his modern life with his husband and son was just beautiful. Even if it didn't have the added bonus of pissing off homophobes and racists all around the world, I cannot stress enough how excellent the portrayal of his relationship and family was. This was gay representation finally, FINALLY done right. None of the other characters gave him shit or even questioned him for being married to a human man, we didn't suffer through any cliche, pandering lines, and Disney didn't once try to use it as marketing clout. His marriage was depicted as naturally as anything else and that's exactly how you do it.
Also, I've seen discourse stirring up about Phastos and his small scene after the bombing of Hiroshima, and while I do think there is discussion to be had over having specifically the black character in the ensemble voice feeling responsible for humanity's war crimes, I feel like a lot of viewers on tumblr in particular are taking this scene supremely out of context or else wilfully misunderstanding it entirely. Nothing about the scene implies at all that Phastos was directly responsible for nuclear technology. Earlier scenes in Babylon showing him inventing the steam engine for humanity, only for Ajak to instruct him to take it back a notch and settle for introducing them to the plow instead, which he's very put-off by. The scene in Hiroshima is foreshadowed by this, as by the time humanity has reached atomic bomb levels of technology, Phastos believes his assistance in the advancement of human industry and invention helped bring about more destruction and harm than good (and given what Arishem reveals later about the purpose of humanity he isn't completely wrong). Phastos is /not/ responsible but he carries the guilt anyway, though at the same time when he tells Ajak "they aren't worth saving" as he breaks down and cries, he acknowledges that despite his hand in human advancement throughout history, in the end it was the choices of the humans themselves that lead to the destruction. If anything at all throughout our history was going to make a sentient, godlike being truly give up on us, it would probably be nuclear warfare. The inclusion of Hiroshima didn't feel at all like it was done in bad faith or was somehow making light of it (I saw somebody call it a throwaway scene and I just 🤷🤷🤷). Obviously this is just my take on it.
One other thing about Phastos; it's stated repeatedly, by multiple characters, that Ikaris is the strongest of them all and is generally considered unbeatable. Of all the Eternals, Phastos is the only one to keep Ikaris contained for any significant amount of time. He's the only one who comes close to actually defeating him, though both Thena and Makkari give him a good beating. The only thing I want to see more of with Phastos is more of his family, more of his relationship with his husband, more on the people who restored his faith in the people he believed couldn't be worth saving.
Sprite was an exceptionally fun character. Her powers were so cool, and the allusion to her being the source of many of the ancient world's myths and legends is a really interesting idea (the tale of Icarus, the epic of Gilgamesh, etc) I would have been totally happy with her as a plucky sidekick the entire time, but giving her the unrequited love sideplot was actually a really awesome move that gave her frustrations with her presented age and appearance greater depth. She was never portrayed as a rueful or vindictive person towards Sersi or Ikaris despite loving him and bring jealous of her. She loved Sersi too, and stayed with her because they were family. She never blamed Sersi for having things she wanted, and only really held it against her at the very end because she believed she was supporting the "right" side of the conflict (Ikaris'). I personally think one of the biggest missed opportunities for this film was in regards to Sprite; I think it would have been a massive step in the right direction to have made her non-binary. Honestly when I first saw her I didn't even think she was meant to be female; her costume styling and haircut screamed androgynous and her voice and mannerisms didn't skew masculine or feminine to me. I still thought she might even be a boy when she was hiding in the illusion of an older woman at the bar with Sersi and Dane. Nothing else would have had to change at all, not her love for Ikaris or desire to grow, because her entire story arc fits a non-binary character to a T. She even has this incredibly poignant line where she asks, despairingly, why Arishem made her this way. That was the most queer-coded line in a film I've ever heard and I can only imagine how many people struggling with their identities and outward presentations felt seen when they heard it.
The film sort of lost Sprite for me towards the end, if I'm being honest. I thought the plot was setting Ikaris up for a fake out when Sprite chose to go with him and support the completion of the emergence. I thought that Sprite was either planning to sabotage him from the very start or else was going to have an emotionally tumultuous moment fighting her teammates and switch sides during the battle. I felt pretty let down, but also didn't hate that while she was clearly conflicted still, she chose to stand by and choose Ikaris over Sersi despite loving them both. What I didn't particularly get or enjoy was Sersi abruptly offering to make her human with "leftover energy" from the celestial. I don't even understand how the leftover energy worked in the first place, but more to the point I don't feel like Sprite's dissatisfaction with her physical form and frustration with her unrequited affection for Ikaris foreshadowed being turned into a human at the end. It felt very abrupt and flat and I just wasn't that into it. It was my second least-favorite thing after the sex scene.
Also, as a side note; Kingo's Peter Pan allegory was an excellent bit of dialogue. I had absolutely no idea the movie intended for Sprite to be in love with Ikarus the way Tinker Bell loved Peter Pan but once he said it I was like "oh, of COURSE!"
Side note of the side note; Kingo was absolutely in love with Ikaris too. He was playing him in his latest movie when they find him post timeskip, portraying him as the sexy leading heart-throb. He expresses admiration and very unwavering loyalty to Ikaris up until the reveal of the truth, and sits the last battle out entirely because he can't bear to choose sides.
Finally, onto Ikaris. I knew he was shady from the moment he showed up in London. I didn't exactly assume he was going to be the "villain" in the end, but I knew there was something sus about him when Sersi explained he'd just up and disappeared on her without explanation. While their romantic backstory was a little bland, their wedding scene was sweet and it made me sure that whatever made Ikaris leave her before the events of the movie couldn't have been good. I do appreciate that while they kept up the "good soldier, follows orders, doesn't question them" theme they had for him until the very end, I like that he didn't stay robotic or one-note the entire time. Like the Icarus of mythology, he's shown to be a bit vain and overconfident at times ("I could lead them" (the Avengers) and also funny and a little awkward ("I am beautiful"/"You're breaking up?"/ getting yeeted into a building by a deviant while clearly trying to make an impressive entrance for Sersi in London). He was subtle but he wasn't absolutely blank, so when his true colors were revealed in the flashback it was all the more jarring. This heroic vestige of a man lead his leader, who trusted and loved him, to her death and then watched her die, only to then plant her body strategically to feed into his lies. Yes, I absolutely bought how much it pained him to kill Ajak, just as I bought his feelings of absolute failure after the death of the celestial inside Earth, but he still did it all. He lied to and manipulated his family, successfully killed one and tried pretty damn hard to kill several others. The only thing I didn't care for was that after all that, after killing Ajak and then threatening and fighting his teammates without so much as a blink, he suddenly just absolutely can't bring himself to harm Sersi at all. He falls to his knees and watches her win, and then accepts his failure and flies into the sun. He self-destructs because his perceived weakness for the woman he loves made him lose his fight. On paper it all looks really good and I feel like it probably resonated well with lots of audiences, but I don't know, the "I will do anything for my cause but I can't kill her because I love her" just falls really flat for me.
I'm also just a bit bummed out because at first when he flew into space I thought he was just going to exile himself as some kind of self-punishment. I thought maybe he'd return in the sequel with some sort of reformed outlook and maybe face consequences for murdering Ajak and fighting his family. Unlike some "redeemed" characters (Kyle Ron comes to mind here) he actually had a basis for a believable redemption and I liked him enough on screen to want to see it.
(Also my stupid shipper brain immediately saw Sersi and Dane as the superior couple, but figured hey, Sersi has two hands. She deserves two boyfriend's to hold them. I hope somebody else with the same brainrot as me writes some Dane/Sersi/Ikaris thruple nonsense, even just a little).
Dane was a fun character, but beyond character himself I was literally just so happy to hear Kit Harrington actually get to speak real dialogue and emote and shout and act like a fucking human being. Three straight seasons of Jon Snow unintelligibly grunting almost had be convinced the man couldn't act at all. Now that I've seen Tobias Menzies in The Crown and Kit Harrington in this, I'm even more retroactively pissed at Game of Thrones for absolutely wasting these actors' potential (and don't even get me started on how badly they wasted Lena Headey in the final season). I'm very excited to see what The Black Knight has to offer us.
Y'all, Gemma Chan is too beautiful for this world. Her cheekbones alone could stop wars. I have a new celebrity crush and she's going to be living rent free in my brain for at least a few months. I love the concept of Sersi's character so much; I love that from the moment she's introduced she's the most human of all the Eternals. Her very first scene is her appreciating how beautiful the earth is. She's the first on the team to get right into human society, learning their languages and helping them with their daily routines. She has a human wedding ceremony. In the present day, she's a teacher with a human boyfriend, and the first thing we see her do with her powers post timeskip is save a child's life and hug her to comfort her after. Throughout her struggles with coming to terms with being Ajak's chosen replacement, she chooses kindness at every possible chance. She doesn't even initially want to kill the celestial that threatens the continued existence of Earth; she just wants to put it to sleep, to avoid being responsible for the murder of what is essentially one of her Gods.
My gripe with Sersi is I feel like she inadvertently becomes the audience surrogate for long stretches of the middle of the film, and we lose her and miss chunks of her arc because she fades into the background. I still don't understand how she turned a deviant into a tree, despite it being the thing that leads her to eventually defeat the celestial by turning it into whatever she turned it into. Her powers are based in matter manipulation but it's almost too vague. I feel like out of all the ensemble cast, Sersi got the least amount of actual growth because so much of her time as the main character was spent providing exposition and being the audience stand-in for understanding the plot. Her talks with Arishem might have been much better as chapters in a book rather than movie scenes. She wasn't boring or non-competing, but she fell flatter to me than the rest of the Eternals and I think that's a disservice to both the character and the actress.

I watched Eternals last weekend and it was so GOOD!!!! Definitely on my top favorites for the MCU, so many things worked for me, and it's so much about these characters!!!!
My favorite thing as definitely how this movie interacts with History and myth, the moment it was announced I recognized some of the names from mythology and I really LOVE how they wrote it!!! Actually bringing up Enkidu in the myths of Gilgamesh, and Ikaris being Icarus, I can't help but wonder if Ajak was also built into Ajax - sure they're not the most similar, but I can see Sprite having fun with it - or Sersi as Circe!!! It raises so much questions about myths and possibilities. Even the celestial being called Tiamut, so similar to the Babylonian mother Goddess, Tiamat!!!
I just LOVE the myth of it all and then the history!!! Interesting to go with older Babylon and not in its most iconic time, to set in the Persian time, when we also know they spend time in Ancient Greece. Now this is such a small thing, and not an actual criticism, but I so wished that when they arrived in 5000 a.C., they could have landed in a city - sure more death, but people so easily forget that have been incredible developed civilizations for millenia.
The use of history is amazing to show the pain and the weight it has in all the characters to see us hurt each other and fight and have rules to do nothing, to not be involved, or even the pain of the involvement. They're such interesting characters!!!! I also love the implication that we, humans, are so dumb and destructive, that we took so much longer to make it possible for a Celestial to grow, that that's why we're the only one they couldn't help but get overly attached to.
The other strength of the movie is its characters!!!! I absolutely LOVE all the eternals, I can't pick a true favorite, they all bring such different things, personalities and powers to the picture, the big thing is how they all interact so differently with each other, and every duo or trio makes and brings something different
I would say Druig is probably the most interesting character to me, his hate for our fighting and destruction, but also how striking and how much it hurts to see fully take over people's free will. It's such an interesting dilemma. I absolutely LOVE Sprite, her love for her family but also the pain of being permanently a child, that she can not even stay a couple years in one place without being discovered, the way it stops her from developing meaningful relationships
Then Thena and Gilgamest have my favorite relationship, this beautiful love and commitment to one another, this true partnership, and really from the first moment you see them you feel their connection, how much they are together!!!!
Now is this out of topic, maybe, but Sersi's love interests being Ikaris (aka Robb Stark) and Dane Whitman (aka Jon Snow) when her name being so similar to Cersei was really disturbing and weird when they declare their love... I really LOVE the exploration between the three of them so much, and this new love but also how they understood her past relationship with Ikaris. Also I know that ending was more about Whitman and who he is in the Marvel world, which I don't know... but I was also wondering if we're suppose to think he's Walt Whitman's descendent... like early on there's talk about him coming from an important and old family and we meet him talking about poetry... like I have questions!!!
Finally, Kingu was so much fun, but I also LOVE how he very much wasn't just the comic relief, he had story and dreams, and I really like how he deals with the final conflict, and the relationships he's able to create with humans. And Phastos and his family were so cute and adorable, especially the final scene with him meeting them all, and I LOVE how he was able to find the joy and love for humanity again, the same with Ajak - as I said the movie is about the love and good of humanity!!! But then how Makkari can not get there, and I imagine it being hard to interact with people for her, made it harder to connect with humans...
I just absolutely LOVE all these characters and the conflict being so world wide, but at the same time so personal to them, the conflict is more about how they react to this mission than the mission itself. And it's interesting how the movie inverts the superhero formula, starting with the big battle with the monster, while at the end they stop the battle before it happens, and what we're faced is a fight way more emotional, because it's one between a family
Also the movie ending with Ikaris fulfilling the story Sprite made for him, Sprite finally becoming human and having a chance to develop relationships, Kingu, Sersi and Phastos staying on Earth - the pain of that ending, especially with Phastos being pulled from his husband and son - and then Thena, Makkari and Druid exploring more of the universe, to share the word of the truth of them!!!
This was such a good movie about family and the exploration of history and myth!!!!

Eternals Review (Spoiler Free)
Let's review the Eternals! Right off the bat the cinematography was amazing. It was absolutely a visually stunning movie. There were definitely moments where the CGI could have been better, but I think that's a big issue in a lot of current marvel movies that were filmed during the pandemic, where they had to film in studios on blue screens instead of on location.
The cast was amazing. Gemma did a spectacular job as Sersi, especially seeing as she had the responsibility of essentially leading the whole movie. Angelina was phenomenal as well and brought a lot of depth to Thena's character, that I was surprised by. Kumail as Kingo and his valet Karun (played by Harish Patel) stole the show and provided some much needed comic relief at times. I adored Brian's Phastos, I just wish we had more time with him. Don Lee as Gilgamesh was great and his chemistry with Thena was off the charts. Lia McHugh who plays Sprite did an amazing job and she's only 13. She really held her own in this star studded cast. I think Lauren and Barry however have to be my favorites to come out of this cast. The relationship between Makkari and Druig is so beautifully done, even though it's not at the forefront really. Also Lauren in general is such a badass and I'm glad to see the deaf community getting more representation on screen. I hate to say it but I was a little underwhelmed by Salma's role and performance. And finally Richard 😍He does a such a good job fully embodying the character of Ikaris, and I wish I could say more but just, yeah he was great.
As for the plot, I think the pacing could be slow at times, but I did like that the movie jumps around time wise and we get to travel throughout history with these characters that have been here for 7000 years. There are truly heartbreaking scenes but also so many tender scenes and then just laugh out loud funny moments that I think it finds a good balance. I will say I have never read these comics, and don't know how comic accurate it is or isn't, but I didn't see the big reveal coming and I really enjoy when that happens, cause a lot of time I feel like movies can be very predictable.
Overall I think Chloe Zhao did a great job at bringing these Eternals into the MCU. I think while it's definitely not a perfect movie it is still a very enjoyable movie and is probably in my top 10 (or at least top 15) of all MCU movies. It is less formulaic that its predecessors but still ultimately feels like a Marvel Movie and I think for that it succeeded in its goal.

Have you seen Eternals and if so what was your opinion on it?
SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED ETERNALS
I am not responsible for what happens if you click 'keep reading' I did warn you
YES!
I'll be 100% honest, It was a tad bit slow, even my husband thought so too. But I had to remember, that this was an entirely new group of people and we are getting introductions to them all while getting a story line.
If I could go back and record/note my husbands commentary through the whole movie, you'd get random comments about Ikaris and Sprite jokes. My personal favorite is after Sprite stabbed Sersi, my husband had said something like "What? No, Sprite! You should be ashamed of your name! You should be called Diet Sprite after that move!"
Did I like this movie? Yes I did. I loved meeting the new characters and seeing new faces and some familiar faces! I really loved Thena and Gilgamesh and 100% believe they deserved better. Druig and Makkari were also so stinking cute as well.
My beautiful, beautiful Makkari. Did you miss me?
That has me weak in the freaking knees!!!
But my toxic trait is thinking I can fix Ikaris and make things work somehow. I secretly hope he did survive the whole flying into the sun thing so he can return and help rescue Sersi!
