[DO NOT FUCKING REBLOG]
Lads I’m devastated to say I think I might just eat the Metric ticket tonight bc my hand still hurts and it’s still scabbing making everything SUCK
I’m GUTTED bc I thought my tattoo would be healed enough (i expected to get saniderm but I did not - so everything has been healing traditionally and it sucks ass; it’s scabbing and since it’s on the top of my wrist I can’t move it a lot if I want to avoid cracking the scabs) but for my own safety I probably shouldn’t drive when I’m using my nondominant hand for everything

1975, cry baby, 11:11
1975: What’s the first happy memory that comes to mind, recent or otherwise?
Back in high school at a casual dance, my friends and I would usually be wallflowers until the DJ would play some 80′s music (because we weren’t into any of the current rap and hip hop stuff) and the DJ usually wouldn’t play any of that until the end of the night. So the dance starts dying down and then he started playing Bohemian Rhapsody and my friends and I all started losing our shit and we all ran to the middle of the dance floor, which by this point had mostly been abandoned, and me and all of my friends formed this big circle and we were all singing along at each other and playing air-guitar and everyone else in the auditorium was just watching us, very confused. It’s one of my favorite memories from high school.
Cry baby: List the concerts you’ve been to and how they made you feel
-My first concert ever was Good Charlotte back in middle school. My mom took me down to the Gibson Amphitheatre (used to be at Universal Studios) on a school day because you used to be able to pick your seats in person and get really good ones. And it was pouring rain that day and I was standing outside waiting for the tickets to go on sale with no umbrella getting completely drenched but I loved GC at the time and I’m one dedicated ass fan and I stuck it out.  I had seats right behind the pit and I thought I was Like, Totally So Punk Rock at the time. My parents took me and a friend of mine. My dad slept through the whole thing.
-Second concert was another Good Charlotte show about a year later, and I had really shitty seats at the Long Beach Arena, way up in the nosebleeds. It was basically just me and a few other people scattered up there. But believe me, I was losing my shit and screaming and singing along like an idiot. The memory is so embarrassing. Like literally people, including a security guard, kept turning around and looking at me like “OMG, calm down loser”.
-Still in middle school, my third concert was the Cure. My parents and I were going on a trip to San Francisco during the summer and there happened to be a Cure concert up there so I had asked if I could go while we were up there and my parents were like “Maybe” and my mom bought the tickets and didn’t tell me. So they surprised me when we got up there, I was so excited. My parents didn’t want to drive from the hotel on Knob Hill to where the concert was (at whatever baseball stadium is there) so we decided to take the bus. Well, the bus driver was new at the time and ended up driving in the wrong direction, to the other side of the city from where the concert was. Picture my baby goth brace-faced ass crying my eyes out because I thought we were going to miss it. The driver was nice though and drove us across town and we made it in time. Yet again, I was in the nosebleeds losing my shit while everyone around me was stoned, slouched in their seats. My dad fell asleep again. All I could see was Robert, about the size of an ant on stage from where I was sitting, and I could only tell it was him by his hair. I think I cried.
-In freshman year I went to see AFI with Tiger Army back at the Long Beach Arena except this time I had Pit tickets for the first time! I was so fucking excited. I went with two friends of mine, but my parents came too and they just stood in the pit with me and when people started moshing my mother started freaking out and I was so embarrassed because again, God Mom I’m Like Totally Punk Rock, Let Me Mosh By Myself. Also, this concert was a good lesson on appropriate moshpit attire, because my dumbass decided to wear a boned corset and when everyone started crowding around each other I found it hard to breathe and almost passed out and this very nice guy was holding my dumbass up fanning me. They recorded their live DVD there and you can see me in a few parts. It was the best night of my life at the time. My best friend and I left our wristbands from the concert on for a few weeks until they finally started getting gross and we cut them off. I know, eww. I got my first moshing bruises and I was so proud. I wore them like badges of honor.
-The next one  AFI. By then I was much better at moshing and I left my corsets at home. I went with a friend and her parents also accompanied us into the pit. They did a cover of Ziggy Stardust and for whatever reason, no one else in the pit seemed to be singing but Davey Havok saw me singing along and he put a spotlight on me and pointed at me while we sang to it together and like I could have fucking died. I still think of it when I hear it.
-Still in high school, I went to see Morrissey at the Hollywood Bowl with a friend. I told my parents her parents were going with us, but they didn’t and my mom found out and got mad afterwords. Some asshole behind me dumped beer on me and I had to go home and explain to my parents why their 16 year old reeked of beer.
-Went to Warped Tour over the summer and got assaulted in the pit by a bunch of drunk frat guys. They wanted to start their own circle pit and were going up to girls like “show us your tits” and started ripping girls shirts and pants off, including mine. Some other guys beat their asses though, and some other nice guy bought me a shirt to cover up. I also got the worst sunburn of my life. And Jeffree Star was there being a little asshole to everyone.
- Went to Tiger Army at the Wiltern in Junior year. We were in the balcony in the front and everyone up there was losing their shit and jumping up and down and it’s an old theatre and I thought we were going to break the balcony. It was fun.
- Went to a Horrorpops concert on Halloween in junior year. It was inside the Museum of Natural History. Pretty neat. Went home and only got 3 hours of sleep before I had to wake up and go to school.
-In college I went and saw Bright Eyes in Santa Barbara and cried when they played Poison Oak. Conor looked at me a few times and I wanted to die of happiness.
And that’s it. I haven’t been to a concert in years because I’ve been so broke or none of my friends liked the same bands and I didn’t want to go by myself. That’s going to change this year though.
11:11 Name 3 wishes and why you wish for them
Money, money, and money because 95% of my problems would be solved LOL
Oh I don’t know. I would ask for a lot of money to share amongst myself and the people I care about so that I could set myself up for life. I’m not even talking like “I want billions of dollars” just like, I want enough money to buy my parents a house, myself a house, put myself through grad school and put some money away for retirement, and go on a few really cool trips. And I want to donate a lot of it.
