II. INTERACTION I'm selective and mutuals only simply because I can't spread myself too thin.

If I don't follow back, it's likely because you're not a BG3 / D&D related blog, I already have a lot of threads, too much formatting, or I feel our muses / writing styles don't mesh. Additionally, if your rules mention steering clear of the topics / triggers mentioned above, I won't follow either. We don't have to write anything that makes you uncomfortable (!!!exclamation mark!!111!), but they might come up.

I also won't follow blogs who use double spacing / heavily format. It's such a struggle for me to read. Sorry!!

If I follow you, I want to interact! Don't be shy <3 I will also assume that if you follow me back, you're fine with me sending you memes / tagging you in starters / sliding into your IMs to plot.

MEMES. I'm a feral meme goblin. Please don't ever feel obligated to answer the 517 memes I've sent you (or any at all), and in return, feel free to bombard my inbox. I'm a big fan of making my muses suffer :D I love angst and exploring dark, gritty plots. If you have any triggers, let me know before jumping into a RP with me, aka the angst queen, so we're all on the same page.

My ADHD often influences my activity. Sometimes I'll reply super fast, sometimes it takes me ages, and sometimes I can only focus on specific threads / muses.

III. DUH Mun =/= Muse, I obviously don't condone any of Lorroakan's bs IRL. He isn't a nice person. He is a toxic, abusive piece of work. While I will absolutely respect your boundaries OOC (if you talk to me beforehand about them, pretty please with a cherry on top), I won't tone him down on main. If that's not your cup of tea, block buttons exist. Use them.

Please don't soft-block me, I have the memory of a soggy pickle. Hard-block.

Protecting your online space is a mature thing to do, and I promise I'll 100% support that. No questions asked, no hard feelings. We're all here to have a good time.

IV. SHIPPING / RELATIONSHIPS Speaking of having a good time: We're sex-positive and kink-friendly in this house. I enjoy raunchy smut as much as the next depraved soul, but I won't write smut on the dash. The steamy stuff will be moved to discord or IMs.

This blog is multiship, male lean. Matter of fact, I love to ship, so if that's something you'd like to do, slide into my inbox. Fair warning; Lorroakan isn't particularly interested in romance or sex, and he's a prick. Ships will most likely be toxic / one-sided (with the potential to develop into something wholesome over time!).

Pre-established relationships: Yes. I usually don't do romantic pre-established relationships (some exceptions may be made for "what if" scenarios, or if I know the mun), but what if your muse was Lorroakan's childhood bestie? Another (former?) apprentice? A fellow scholar of the arcane he used to work with?

V. MUN They/Them, hatched 1995, dog parent, hyperfixating on problematic villains, D&D player.

𝐌𝐔𝐒𝐄

GENERAL Lorroakan is in his mid 30s, fairly young considering his achievements (mostly obtained through deceitful methods).

He presents himself as the great archmage of Baldur's Gate, but while he is a compentent wizard and keen enchanter, he is nowhere near as powerful as he claims to be.

Lorroakan laid claim to Ramazith Tower after its previous owner mysteriously disappearend, and he refuses to share the knowledge it holds (at least for free).

He is originally from Athkatla, one of the wealthiest cities in Faerun, but he grew up in the shadows of its splendor. His family (mother, father, two sisters, four brothers) could barely make ends meet, but Lorroakan has always been ambitious and harbored dreams of one day being just as wealthy and powerful as the elite of the Gem District. The practice or use of arcane magic is explicitly illegal within the city of Athkatla, but that didn't stop him; he practiced in secret whenever he could get his hands on a spellbook.

PERSONALITY IN A NUTSHELL . . . as interpreted by the mun ; Ambitious, diligent, intelligent, clever, creative ; selfish, arrogant, manipulative, power-hungry, petty, vain.

He has a superiority complex ; he is vain, has an overly high opinion of himself, makes boastful claims that aren't backed up by reality, has a habit of putting down those who outshine him. In truth, behind his inflated ego, he is insecure and has low self-esteem. Not that he'd ever admit that. In fact, he wouldn't even admit it to himself.

(The way I see it) Lorroakan isn't a straight up villain. However, his ambitions and narcissistic nature drive him to commit morally questionable, and at times, outright despicable acts.

Hello to our beautiful residents of the Valparaíso region ! As we approach mun capacity, the admins wanted to give a couple reminders as muns get more comfortable with their characters and each other. These are all things that can be found in our rules, specifically the ‘ On Collaboration ’ section, but we wanted to take the time to bring attention to them again, and elaborate on them as our group grows so muns can be more aware of each other’s interaction styles. As admins, we’re constantly blown away with how kind our members are. We love knowing that the both of us can step away from the server or the dash for a moment and come back to tons of new threads on the dash to catch up on, and even more shenanigans in the servers to enjoy before bed. No one is in trouble, this isn’t a post meant to make anyone feel nervous or guilty. The admins just want to issue soft reminders as we know how easy it is for muns to get comfortable with other muns and muses they grow familiar with over time, and we want to ensure we emphasize inclusivity as that’s the thing we’re most proud of when it comes to this group. This is a pretty lengthy post, but please see below the read more and read its entirety. Interact with this post so that we know you've read it, and understand. If you have any questions please let us know !

Open starters: We love to see so many opens going on the main and how often they get replied to ! Please keep posting and replying to them as it’s a great way to facilitate connections with muns who may not favor plotting, but love winging it to see where the chem leads ! Whenever you do post an open starter, please make sure to tag valpostart ! The dash moves very fast, and the admins can miss starters from time to time, but we’ll get the notification if you tag it ! You should also be dropping your opens in our open starters channel in the discord server; however we absolutely recommend tagging the account as discord hides notifications sometimes.

OOC interactions: The server moves very fast. We understand that we have a variety of muns with different capacities to be online. There are some who can be on a lot more than others so we understand that hopping into the server can be overwhelming for muns and sometimes you don’t know where to start. We want to ask that when interacting in the OOC servers, do not ignore comments left by other muns if you notice no one else has had the chance to reply yet. Respond to it first before you shift focus to something else because it’ll ensure that others don’t feel ignored, even if that’s not what you meant to do ! We don’t want anyone to feel like they have to be online all the time to be a valued member of this group; you’re all valued here. If you feel the OOC is getting too overwhelming or that it’s hindering your experience in the group and you prefer DMs, that’s completely fine ! You’re always welcome to mute any channel in the server you want as long as you have the announcement and plotting/starter call channels unmuted !

Plotting/Starter Calls: When posting plotting and starter calls make sure that you have the capacity for them ! Feel free to issue out a cap as to not overwhelm yourself, but try to prioritize muns you haven’t gotten the chance to write with yet or that you don’t write with often. If you tend to post starter calls and prioritize the same muns the admins will consider that a strike against you. We do understand that muns will post plotting/starter calls with every intention of dishing them out and then life happens; you won’t be penalized for needing to take a step back, ever. We do ask, however, that you let the admins know or that you post a mun update in the channel so members aren’t left to think that it’s something they did or didn’t do. If you post a plotting call and a mun responds to it: you are expected to plot with the mun. If admins hear that you’re ignoring a mun’s attempt at plotting, that will be a strike against you.

Private DMs: As admins, we don’t know what’s happening in private dms. We also acknowledge and understand that our DMs will absolutely look different than our members, but we still want to let our members know that they shouldn’t ever feel rushed to get back to anyone. Take your time so that you can go through intros and give thought out responses around characters and potential plots. Again, we understand that the ooc server and more recently the ic text channel, can move extremely fast but never let that make you feel like you’re falling behind or getting left behind. Our members (and the admins !) are extremely patient and understanding. Take the time you need to get back to or reach out to members so you have plots or thread ideas you’re excited about writing.

Collaboration is Key: Give as much as you get and match the energy of the muns around you. We think this group works so well because we have members consistently shouting out each other, bringing attention to threads on the dash, and little funny moments in the servers. We understand that receiving compliments on your characters can feel nice, and it’s fun to know that you made the group laugh! But it only works if everyone is participating and not just a select few. If you only chime in in the ooc when your character is mentioned but never try and acknowledge other characters or members whether through the server or in DMs, that doesn’t make everyone feel very nice. If you get a cute shoutout, please try to pay it forward with a future shoutout for another mun’s character!

We expect everyone to put in the same amount of effort no matter how often they’re able to get online. We don’t believe activity equals inclusivity. Everyone should be reaching out to others and responding to others, whether that be in the OOC/IC or Dms. We don’t think it’s fair to ask members who are able to be more active to take on even more of the work of a collaborative hobby because that can burn them out. Alternatively, we don’t expect members who aren’t able to be on as frequently to be aware of every growing plot change or interaction but what you are privy to, feel free to comment on ! Or just drop by to chat when you can if you’ve opted to participate in the ooc/ic servers. We value patience and never want anyone to stretch themselves too thin. We want to thank everyone who has joined us, and we recognize all the effort you put into your characters and writing with each other. As admins, we’re so proud of all the work you all put in, and want to continue to see Valpohq provide giggles and joy to the muns who come to stay with us. Even when muns leave us, we always hear about how great of an environment this rp is and how welcomed and included they felt, and much of that is due to how welcoming you all are and all the effort you put in to threading and plotting with each other ! This is just a reminder because we want to make sure we don’t lose that whether we’re at 12 muns or 25 ! -This is an in-character rp and ask blog for my OCs, with a focus on Artair as my main! Please don't take my OCs designs or adopt them as a muse for yourself, unless you have my explicit permission (though a writing gift for me would be entirely fine!)

-My social anxiety is really bad-- if I follow you, I definitely want to interact! But also, I really struggle to initiate conversation. If a person reaches out I'll happily interact with them though; I'm kind of a social-vampire, and feeling invited in helps a lot. On the other hand, once I'm spoken to, I talk a LOT, so I apologize in advance and hope it isn't too overwhelming. Feel free to tell me to tone it down!

-I think communication is vital to a hobby like this. If you have a question or issue, please let me know! Also, If I do something insensitive or hurtful, please let me know and I'll try to do better next time. Also, this blog does not condone any bigotry, and I refuse to write anything depicting incest or pedophilia.

- I’ve been writing Artair for years, so Artair has a lot of background history that might get alluded to, but not actively explained. If you have questions, feel free to throw them my way and I’ll answer what I can!

-I am 25+, and may do mature threads (I'm not sure yet though, if i will. I may choose to stick to fade to black and leave anything salacious to other spaces). I totally get wanting to respond to everything, but doing so to every talking point ends up with the muses having like six differing conversations at once. So I might skip things I want to respond to, to avoid that, and my replies may be smaller to keep the flow of interactions smoother. Hopefully I'll give my partner enough to work with. If not, let me know!

-Please understand that if you DO rp with me, I do not ship characters unless it develops naturally. If something happens, it happens, but I refuse to pair anyone unless the muse legitimately develops feelings over their interactions. Those actions do not need to be written necessarily, and do not need to be on Tumblr, but they need to happen first. I feel it’s only safe to let people know, since some muns are looking to ship as their primary goal.

-All Icons I use I either have permission from the artist to use, or made myself! All Icons will be tagged specifically with the artist on the posts they occupy. I will likely use icons sometimes as I begin to amass them, but I don't expect anyone to use them to write with me. I also don't format my posts except for fun on rare occasions where it feels fitting. I don't expect anyone to match my format, and I hope my simplicity won't be an issue for anyone.

-I am a person who deeply enjoys horror threads and dark themes, so please be aware there will be threads and art/writing containing that on this blog.

-Anything triggering or issue causing I will try to tag. The format for tagging will be ‘#cw *insert trigger here*’. Example being #cw injury. I will try to be consistent! Please feel free to ask me if I need to tag anything!

You must be 18+ to interact with Adam or any of my muses for that matter. Hazbin Hotel is not intended for children and I am over the age of 18. I do not feel comfortable writing with minors. I check every blog that interacts with me.

Adding on to the previous rule, please make sure your age or age range is visible to mobile users. I do not have a desktop, I access Tumblr from my phone, so if I can't see your age, I'm going to assume you're a minor and block you on sight. If you'd like to message me privately to let me know you're 18+, that's fine too but please make it known that you are not a minor bc I will block you and if I find out you lied to me about your age, I will definitely block you.

Do not harass me about responding. I can understand being excited for a thread but I have a life outside of roleplay, as I'm sure most of us do. I also have depression and ADHD, inspiration is a fickle thing for me and I tend to drop threads without warning because I meant to respond and forgot or I just can't formulate a response. If it's been at least a week, feel free to poke me and we can talk about it.

Do not, and I mean do not, reblog my threads or anything else that doesn't concern you. This is the absolute quickest way to piss me off and get you booted from my blog. If it's a discussion post, obviously that's meant to be replied to and reblogged but if it's a thread or something that is personal to MY portrayal, don't steal it. You can reblog my Headcanons if we're mutuals but if we've never interacted, don't reblog my shit.

Adam is a misogynistic piece of shit and he's going to act like one. I don't condone anything he says or does, obviously he's a prick. Don't come at me if he says something out of pocket to your muse. However, if it's too much and it bothers you, let me know if I need to tone it down a little bit. I won't completely erase his personality but if he gets carried away, let me know.

I love OCs but as I previously mentioned, you are required to plot with me if you're going to throw your OC at Adam. I prefer plotting in general, especially since Adam is a character we don't really know much about and obviously if he doesn't canonically know your character, I don't either. Please plot with me, I promise I don't bite. Adam might though 😏

Think carefully when you send me things. If there's a specific context for the meme or starter you sent me, tell me. If I can't work with what you gave me, I'm going to ignore it or ask you ONCE to fix it. If you still continue to send me things I can't work with, I won't interact with you anymore.

If I block you, don't go to my other blogs and ask me why. If I block you on one blog, that obviously means leave me alone. DNI.

Non-RP blogs are not welcome here. If you're an anchor for a RP blog or blogs, that's fine, but if your blog isn't affiliated with the RPC in any way, do not follow me because I will block you. And RP hubs, make sure you make it known that you're attached to an RP blog because I might block you by accident 😅

I cannot STAND first person, script style or chat style RPs. Nothing against the people who enjoy writing them, I just can't do it. It's a personal pet peeve of mine, so please, if you're going to only write in that style, move along.

Do. Not. Godmod. This is my blog and my muse and I am more than capable of writing him. I have been in the RPC since I was 8 years old, I have 15 years of writing under my belt, I think I can handle it. If you think you can do a better job of writing my muse, make your own blog, but do not try to take my character from me.

When I post an open starter, I'm looking for interaction with that muse. I don't post them just because. Every time I post a starter, it gets likes but very rarely do I actually get interaction. That annoys the hell out of me. If I post a starter, it meant to be replied to. I don't care if y'all like it, but please, for the love of God, if you like it, reply to it! That's what it's there for!

This is no space for OOC drama, IRL political discourse, people who can't differentiate fiction from reality and think it's okay to police adults on what to write on their blogs (go touch some grass). Hard-block. I will also opt for blocking instead of soft-blocking if our rules clash, if you have numerous triggers / DNIs, or to avoid misunderstandings. In most cases, it's nothing against you personally.

Yeah, so. This is a 25+ blog, run by a 25+ mun, and there will be adult content, including but not limited to: violence, abuse, gore, monsters, gaslighting, manipulation, canon-typical fantasy racism and overall offensive / problematic themes. Triggers won't always be tagged. If you're triggered by any of these, this blog isn't for you.

II. INTERACTION I'm selective and mutuals only. If I don't follow back, it's likely because you're not a BG3 / D&D related blog, I already have a lot of threads, too much formatting, or I feel our muses / writing styles don't mesh. Additionally, if your rules mention steering clear of the topics / triggers mentioned above, I won't follow. We don't have to write anything that makes you uncomfortable (!!!exclamation mark!!111!), but they might come up.

If I follow you, I want to interact! Don't be shy <3 I will also assume that if you follow me back, you're fine with me sending you memes / tagging you in starters / sliding into your IMs to plot.

MEMES. I'm a feral meme goblin. Please don't ever feel obligated to answer the 517 memes I've sent you (or any at all), and in return, feel free to bombard my inbox. Even if we already have 3,670 threads. Idc fam, send me more. We haven't interacted yet? Meme. I haven't answered your meme yet? My muse probably didn't vibe with it, send another. Send memes. I prefer to keep it simple when it comes to formatting. It looks cool, but reading paragraph after paragraph of double spaced text hurts my eyes.

I'm a big fan of making my muses suffer :D I love angst and exploring dark, gritty plots. If you have any triggers, let me know before jumping into a RP with me, aka the angst queen, so we're all on the same page.

My ADHD often influences my activity. Sometimes I'll reply super fast, sometimes it takes me ages, and sometimes I can only focus on specific threads / muses.
