The longer I let it simmer, the angrier I get about my annoying, arrogant coworker, I swear.

*talking about learning languages*

Him: "Oh I know some Japanese."

Me: "I know quite a bit of Japanese. *joke about watching anime with it*"

Him: "Well, you DO know that anime doesn't have REAL Japanese right??"

Like. Some Australian dude would be like. "My German is good enough to watch some German daily soap on the side" and that kid would go like "uhm sweaty you know that's not REAL German nobody talks like that in everyday life"
