spoookyyyy season, lmao I tried answering as many as I could but now I am going to be deleting the rest of my inbox so sorry if I didn’t get to answer you :( also WCIFs are on hiatus rn but you can find a lot of the stuff I use on my cc finds blog
Anonymous said: hey, have you ever thought about making a blackpink inspired hair?
Most of my hairs start off being K-Pop inspired and then don’t look like what I was trying to achieve, so if I tried making one it wouldn’t look right once I finished it haha, I have a hair based off Lisa though!
Anonymous said: are all of your hairs also male compatible? there's a guy sim i want to make who has shoulder length hair and one of yours would be great to use
I never check that since I make them for female sims, but if you change some tags in S4S you should be able to check the hair you want yourself :D
Anonymous said: would you be ok with people converting your hair?
Sure! I plan on converting some hairs eventually but if other people do it then I don’t mind at all. Just credit me obvi and link to the original post
Anonymous said: Hey, I love your CC (especially the hairs) and your sims are so beautiful! However, I noticed that so far you only uploaded your female sims (not that I’m complaining, they’re all gorgeous!) but I was just wondering if you could upload one or two male sims sometime? They look amazing too!
I actually have had my male model sim in my drafts since JANUARY ready to post, I just need to get his tray files haha. Will try to do it soon! Also ty
Anonymous said: Have you posted your female "model" for everything on the sims 4 gallery?
yeah they’re on the gallery! Aharris00britney is my origin ID
Anonymous said: hiya, i was wondering if you created your own hair textures or if you used ea's (or anyone else's textures)? thanks!
I use EA textures as bases and usually edit them somehow by combining different ones together when needed.
@ellebellsims said: Hello! Tysm for all the lovely hairs you provide for us! I end up using at least one of your hairs for every household in my game, haha. I had two quick questions.. the first, for someone that has limited abilities in making recolors (and never with hair before) how difficult is it to add an ombre accessory or recolor for one of your hairs? Also, how difficult would it be to convert for kids?
Recolors are really easy to do, there are tons of tutorials on YouTube that will help with that. Ombre accessories are a bit challenging but hopefully I can get a tutorial for those out one day. Converting to kids is really simple if you know Blender basics, you can use my converting to adults tutorial to get an idea of how a conversion would work.
Anonymous said: You had a obession with the flowers lmao
lmao, very true!
Anonymous said: wcif the ice cream in this post? /post/174729716466/icecreamedit
the ice cream was drawn in by @ayoshi-sims :( so it isn’t a real thing

Anonymous said: You are a very beautiful human being. I like your face and personality very much.❤️
haha thank you guys! I don’t find myself that attractive of a person so the compliments helps keep me from being super self conscious :P thank you again <3 very much appreciated
Anonymous said: not sims related, but opinions on the most recent bts comeback?
I don’t keep up with a lot of the boy group comebacks, but I listened to it and thought it was okay? I am pretty strictly into girl groups/female singers though so I’m not the best person to ask about it haha
Anonymous said: hi austin!! i just wanted to say i love your creations and you are one of the most amazing hair creators out there! but i had a quick question: will you ever put your "dean" hair model available for download?
I don’t know if he is saved, but if he is I will try to put him for download!
Anonymous said: ok so i have a question if you dont mind, i feel like it's kind of stupid but how do you manage to move parts of the hair mesh in edit mode without the part you selected like 'seperating' from the part you didn't select and making a big ass gap in the mesh? like does that make sense? when i try to edit shit in edit mode i cant ever bc the faces separate from eachother when i try to translate a part of it or make it smaller, etc. if this makes sense, thank you if not im sorry im just stupid.
REMOVE DOUBLES!!!! lmao that is the only way you will get anything done in edit mode. Proportional Edit Tool and Removing doubles from the entire mesh makes it a lot easier than sculpt mode. Make sure to split edges later though
@bishyouknowit said: I just recently went cc free and now I see your new hairs and I just wanna download all the hairs I had from you again and put them back in my game. I love your stuff so much!! ❤❤❤❤❤

Yes.... LMAO egfdbv I am joking :P It is fine you forgot, it isn’t like I am posting a selfie everyday showing off my radiating masculinity sfdcfbvb which I don’t even have
Anonymous said: you’re very good 👌🏼

Anonymous said: Do you put your things up on Simsdom? because I just found you Em hair on there
I don’t :( but as long as they are linking to my post and not to the download link there isn’t much I can do.
Anonymous said: Columbus never set food in North America, he landed on various Caribbean islands. Also, Delaware was the first state.

● SPHERE NOVEMBER EVALUATION: INTERROGATION !
NOVEMBER 30TH, 2017 A MOCK INTERVIEW
he’s almost embarrassed to admit how nervous he is for the end of the month— perhaps more so than he has been for an evaluation in a long time, if ever. after all, it’s no secret that talking is not seungcheol’s forte.
it has to be said, however, that amongst all the nerves is a building excitement. the particularly appropriate challenge for this month’s stressful final day only serves as a reminder of what’s to come — endless grilling from the public, perfecting answers to questions he should never have to expect and, thus, of course, debut. momentarily, his mind wanders to his million curiosities about how it’ll all unfold, but he doesn’t allow it to stray too far, since they’re about to start and seungcheol already knows that actually listening is the most important part of an interview.
his coach makes himself comfortable in the seat opposite him, prepared with questions hidden to seungcheol’s eye. ( though, admittedly, as tempting as it might be, seungcheol is far too scared of being caught to have even tried sneaking a peek. ) anything could be written on those papers, and whilst seungcheol doesn’t think he’s ever done anything to be challenged on in an unanswerable question, it doesn’t hurt to anticipate the worst. he’ll either get what he expected or be pleasantly surprised to be spared; isn’t that foolproof? he supposes he’ll find out.
“please introduce yourself.”
easy enough, he thinks. “h-hello! I’m s.coups, o-one of convex’s m-main rappers.” he hesitates to playfully add ‘dancing black hole’, but quickly decides against it. it’s difficult to get his tone across when he’s stumbling over his words like this and he’d rather not be misinterpreted. still, he knows he can’t leave it at that — it’s far too plain, tells the coach nothing about him as a person or a performer. he inwardly cringes as he considers his trainee title as a last resort after he’s left too long of a pause between answers, but the moment has passed before he can think of anything else.
“we hear you’re ‘sphere’s scaredy cat’. where did this come from?”
he supposes it’s wishful thinking to think he’ll ever escape it. he doesn’t mind it too much; after all, he gave himself the name. he just doesn’t want it to be his only identity after debut. he’s much more than a scaredy cat, really. “I get st-startled v-very easily.” he breathes out a weak chuckle. “l-loud noises, mostly, so y-you can imagine w-what it’s l-like for me living in a d-dorm of th-thirteen.” speculation, of course, but he doesn’t think it’ll be far off the truth.
“it’s becoming expected now for rappers to write their own lyrics. you don’t. why?”
he sucks in a deep breath. “for a long time, I’ve been p-passionate about making rap more acc-accessible to all. I w-want to rid the industry of th-this idea that you ha-have you have an extensive b-background in underground r-rapping to be a rapper. o-of course, if you h-have that, that’s great, b-b-b-but— I think it discourages a lot of y-young people from pursuing rap.” his eyes widen in panic, wondering if he’s perhaps talking too much or even sounding judgemental to those who have that experience under their belt. of course, he doesn’t mean any harm by his comments; he can’t help that his own experiences with underground rappers has so often been sour. “I want to be a g-great idol rapper, so I c-can inspire mo-more future idols to feel c-confident in their skills.”
“we heard that you sang for your audition, though. if rap is so important to you, why did you sing?”
“singing is important to me, too.” he answers evenly, the first sentence to come out free of trembles. maybe it’s because it feels like an attack, like he can’t be passionate about more than one thing, like he’s being accused of being unfocused, indecisive. “I’m v-versatile musically. rap is my f-focus, but I have a lot of tr-tricks up my sleeve I h-hope to show more as time passes. at the time, I had o-only singing publicly for a f-few months, so it fe-felt right to h-honour that new e-era of my life.”
“you also sing monthly on your youtube channel, right? can you tell us more about that? we’re all curious who WZ is.”
he laughs heartily, a soft pink dusting his cheeks. he wonders if they truly feel as if they’re catching him out here; as if he’s going to stumble ( not too much of a stretch to believe ) over an excuse for ‘WZ’s identity, but the real truth is— “WZ is convex’s shortest lead dancer, lee jihoon!” it’s rather noticeable how his stutter drops immediately at the mention of his best friend, and even more obvious how his features light up and his shoulders relax. his hands hidden under the table have stopped rubbing against one another, instead animatedly gesturing as he speaks. “we share a love for gfriend’s music, so I decided to dedicate the first cover of my monthly project to him. it’s also one of the two videos I showed him when I told him about the channel and my past with singing, so it has a lot of sentimental value.” his eyes curve as he pauses for a few beats. “my monthly project started as a way to ensure I uploaded semi-regularly on that channel,” and a way to keep sane through the rollercoaster that was 2016, he bites his tongue, “but it’s also now a testament to my growth both musically and personally over the past— wow, almost two years. you can see how I’ve matured from the early days, writing out raps to avoid bringing my two worlds together, to now. there’s so much more vibrancy in my covers now, even if I do have to record them late at night after training.” he chuckles, running a hand through his hair, hoping his blush isn’t too obvious.
“speaking of jihoon, you two seem to be close. you’ve both posted about each other on instagram and you speak very fondly of him.”
“jihoon and I have been best friends for almost four years. we’re— kind of opposites in a lot of ways and that’s why we work so well together. jihoon’s helped me through a lot, and he’s helped me to get closer with the other convex boys, whether he realises it or not.” he has a proud grin on his gentle features as he thinks to the endless encouragement the younger gives him, the unconditional support and patience. he nods softly. “it’s through his friendship that I’ve grown more confident in myself and learnt to take risks. where he is brave, I am cowardly, and where I am gentle, he can be unintentionally sharp. he has an attention to detail I don’t, and I have a nagging voice he sometimes needs. we’re always helping one another grow to be better and better versions of ourselves.” he hums quietly. “I have lots to learn from every member of convex; charisma from hyun, dance from the performance unit—” he pales, realising he’d uttered the word he’d been trying to avoid.
“it’s no secret that dance isn’t your strong point. in a predebut performance in july, you fell a lot. do you think you’ve improved since then?”
they really don’t hold back, he thinks, blinking once, twice, before he snaps back to reality. july is still a month he doesn’t really enjoy looking back on, and that much must be obvious, or he doubts they’d have honed in on it specifically. “I d-definitely still have a long way to go,” he admits, “but it’s something my interest in is growing in ra-rapidly. I’ve been working on it a lot recently, so please anticipate my next stage! you’ll see!” he smiles brightly, sighing inwardly in relief.
“you didn’t take the college entrance exams, correct? so if you weren’t an idol, what would you be doing?”
“music.” he answers immediately, not a moment of hesitation. “being an idol is the path th-through music that I want more than anything, but it’s not the only path. I have an interest in classical music, too, and a particularly strong interest in movie scores. my family also own a music store, so I would find a way to be part of music somehow.” he nods, adding quietly, “it’s my destiny.”
“why do you think you deserve to debut?”
“hard work, dedication and passion; just like everyone else. everyone deserves to debut if their heart is in it.” it’s probably not the answer he should be giving. maybe he should be selling himself, talking about how he alone has worked hard and how baek jiyoung deems him ready and he feels it in his bones, too, that this is the right time, but it’s not in his nature. he knows idols are supposed to lie from time to time— white lies for the sake of image aren’t foreign to him, but had he or had he not worked so hard to rid himself of that? to be honest? he doesn’t think he has a personality that’s particularly un-idol-friendly, so maybe he’s reasonably safe. maybe his white lies can be about ideal types and how easy he is to wake up in the morning. we’ll see, he thinks.
“finally, what are your goals for the future? do you want to have a solo career on the side one day? perhaps acting or modelling? radio hosting?”
“my only goal is to continue to better myself for fans and for the other boys; to be the best performer I can each and every time I step on stage, and never to give up or falter. I want to help convex grow to being a highly respected name; a group that is known for their charms and performance skills. anything beyond that, solo activities, modelling contracts, for myself alone are bonuses.” still, he laughs softly as he adds, “that being said, I’d really love to go on king of masked singer, or something similar, one day.”
once he’s finished talking and the coach clicks the lid shut on his pen, he breathes a sigh of relief. he doesn’t doubt that he’ll launch into a full analysis of his performance in a few minutes, once he’s organised his criticisms into a more natural order, but for now, he can’t say he doesn’t expect the obvious, “you definitely need to work on that stutter,” that fills the stifling silence.
“I’m w-w-working on it.”
the coach doesn’t make eye contact as he adds, “and to think you considered yourself a contender as a leader with it.” he bites his bottom lip nervously, hands returning to rubbing against one another under the table. it’s not a statement he’s undeserving of and perhaps that’s why it stings so much more than he expects at first, digging into his confidence and dragging it into the ground. he wants to argue, clarify that he didn’t explicitly name himself for it, he simply laid everything on the table, said he’d do anything because he would— if it meant pleasing everyone, he’d do it— but it’s not worth it. he has to develop a thick skin, anyway, right? then comments like this ( and worse ) won’t hurt so much after debut.
he can see it now: convex’s black hole, convex’s unlucky number 13. he chews through the skin.
his pride was fun while it lasted, at least.

What Is The Best Way To Make Money Online? The 9 best and free programs for active and passive income
Tumblr media
9 Legit Ways Of Making Money Online.
So you are at a point where you need to see some income? Your blog or website is not doing so well, and you are running slowly out of passion and of cash $$.
Tumblr media
Let's make Money online. Yes, you know that you actually can make Money online,... but you have not just yet figured it out how those $$$$$ flow into your life. Right.
What is the best way to make money online? I have asked myself this many times.
What you need is a computer, phone or tablet and of course Internet access. I will show you 9 websites where you can actually make cash, or if you are really serious some real good Money. Are you excited yet, Yes… then let's get started.
How much money can I make in one day?
On some of the Websites, you can actually make up to 100 Dollars a day or even more. The part I liked most is that you do not need to quit your 9 to 5 Job. You can do it in your Free Time. Two distinct ways of Making Money on the Internet The first is an active Income. It is like your regular 9-5 Job. You only get paid for the work you do. If you do not work, you don't make Money it is as simple as that. The second way is through Passive Income. This is my favourite Method because, with passive Income, all you do is put in the workforce once, and the Money, in theory, should keep rolling in, without you having to do any more work other than maybe promoting what you have made, or in some cases what other people have made. Let's get rolling ….
1.Upworks.com
Tumblr media
Upworks.com is a website for freelancers. With Upwork you are making active Income. Businesses and Individuals post services on Upwork that they like to outsource such as article writing, video editing, app development, coding, and so much more. There are tons of jobs and services being outsourced on Upwork. The beauty of all that is it is a low barrier of entry, and you just have to be good at something. If there is something, you are good at maybe graphic design or coding or just about any skill, head over to Upwork and start making some money. A Tip when you are considering signing up for Upwork.  Have a robust and transparent profile that looks good. That will drastically increase your likelihood of ever receiving job offers, from potential clients. Displaying your best work or highlighting specific experience can and will help you stand out.
2. YouTube
Many People know this, but not many take advantage of it. If you are considering getting into YouTube to make Money, make sure you understand one thing clearly.
Tumblr media
Thanks to the new rules, if you are planning on starting a brand-new channel from scratch, you first have to reach the YouTube minimum threshold to get monetized. Which means you need 4000 watch hours, and 1000 subscribers in the last 12 months. Once you reached that, you can get monetized. Want to learn the weird secret to make $2,000 per month on Youtube?
How much can you make on YouTube?
Honestly, as much as you want.  As long as you keep uploading content that people are willing to watch your golden, and the longer the videos, the more Money you can expect to make… You can make anywhere from 1$ to thousands even hundreds of thousands of dollars. The more views you are getting, the more Money you can expect to make, and also you get more subscribers. With YouTube, what you are earning is passive Income, make a few videos, and they should keep making you Money consistently. You can also make Money with YouTube through paid sponsorship, but with paid sponsorships, you need a large audience, usually 10K subscribers to do that. You can also make Money through Affiliates, but we will get to that later.
3. Amazon
Tumblr media
Although Jeff Bezos did start off the company selling books,  Amazon now sells almost anything you can think of. It is not just a site for buying your favourite books though, you can actually make Money with Amazon.
There are 3 ways you can do that.
The 1st way is Amazon Mechanical Turk.
Tumblr media
Mechanical Turk is kinda like Up works, it's a place where businesses outsource work that is difficult for a computer program to do. Such as audio editing, translating audio and video from different languages, testing webpages, writing reviews, and a whole lot of other services. You can make as much as $20 -$30 an hour, by working on a few different tasks. This is a legit way of making Money, and they do pay. This is an active Income.
The second way is Amazon Kindle publishing.
Tumblr media
Turn your ideas into an e-book and make Money today. Every time you buy an eBook from Amazon, both Amazon and the publisher make Money and you too. The Thing with Kindle publishing is … you first need a book to sell. There are different ways either you can write the book yourself, or you can hire someone to write it for you. You do not have to be an established author or find a publishing company to do this. You can do this from the comfort of your home, with Kindle eBooks you can start earning Passive Income. Sounds excellent and believe it or not it is free to sign up and to start. Amazon takes care of the money handlings, and you can sit back and relax. If you are interested in Kindle publishing you can also do more research on it. You can find free videos and tutorials on YouTube that will teach you the basics. If you want expert advice, you might have to pay for a course.  I can highly recommend this course click here.  24 Hour Book Program Step-by-step video training program on how to write a book in 24 hours or less. Some people make over $100.000 publishing Kindle e-books on Amazon. It is definitely a market to look into.
The 3rd way is theAmazon Associates Program.
Tumblr media
This is a popular and easy way of earning Passive Income. All you do is sign up to the Amazon associates' free program, and you can pick from thousand of stuff Amazon sells on their website and start promoting. Amazon will give you a special link, and every time someone buys through your link, Amazon will provide you with a commission from 4%-10% of the sale. Amazon will pay you 60 days after purchase, and you can choose to be paid either through bank cheque or through Amazon gift cards. Please Note: The bank wire transfer is at the moment only available in the United States. If you live outside the USA, you can be paid via cheques, or you can have it transferred to your Amazon account and start buying stuff with it.
4. Flippa.com
Flippa is the number one marketplace for buying and selling online businesses. It attracts a huge audience, and it offers great help to increase visibility. It's an auction side really much like eBay, for those selling and buying digital assets, such as websites, apps, domains, Shopify stores and amazon FB accounts.
Tumblr media
If you are good at making apps or even sites… you can actually sell it online and make some money.  Better if you have Money lying around and you are interested in buying either websites, apps, or e-commerce stores, that are already making Money, you can do so with Flippa. How it works, you place a bid, much like eBay and if your bid is the highest, then congratulations you just bought yourself an online business. You can also earn Money by selling online businesses. That's Flippa.com
5.Shutterstock
Basically, Shutterstock is a platform where you can buy or sell digital media. Such as pictures, music and video clips. Mainly created by freelancers and hobby photographers. So if you might be particularly good at photography taking amazing pictures and videos this is the platform for you. Even if you are good at making sick beats, you can monetize your talent on Shutterstock.
Tumblr media
The way you make Money with shutter stock is every time someone purchases one of your pictures, you get paid a commission, usually a couple of cents to a few dollars, if you are lucky. The trick to making a lot of Money with shutter stock is to keep uploading high-quality images consistently.
6.Rover
Rover is the largest network of 5 -star pet sitters and dog walkers. Do you like pets? ( https://mypetshopworld.com) Dogs in particular, if so then you should check that out. Rover is a dog sitting service, but this is currently only available in the USA and Canada.
Tumblr media
If you live in either of those two countries, then you can register as a dog sitter and get paid for babysitting dogs. You can make between $80 – $100 a night, just by watching someone's dog. You are able if you have free time to make hundreds of dollars a week by just babysitting someone's pet. That sounds a good deal. You need to have a bit of experience with dogs. If this is not available in your country, get yourself a free website and offer dog sitting services. People are always looking for someone to look after their pet when they are away. Not always can family look after them? Get the free website here with 10 Training lesson on how to earn Money online, or turn your passion into a business. Check it out here…
7.Fiverr
I think everyone has heard of Fiverr. When I started in the online business, there was not one day where it has not been mentioned.
Tumblr media
It is a simple and easy site to start earning some money. If you haven't, basically it's a freelance website where you can literally outsource anything. As long as it is legal. You can get jobs done for as little as $5. There are so many different ways on what you can do to increase your Income or in simple terms earn more Money online.
Just naming a few.
Animation Logo design, Packaging Design, Web & Mobile Design, Social Media Design, Blog writing, Search Engine Optimization, Photoshop Editing, Architecture and Floorplanning, 3 D Models and Product design, T-Shirt and merchandising, Virtual assistant and so much more. Anything that can be outsourced you can find it on Fiverr. Go to Fiverr and check it out, you can also sign up on fiverr.. and do the jobs for other people. This is an active Income. This is a legit way of making Money online.
8. DropShipping
So what is Dropshipping?  In short, you are selling someone else stuff for a small or substantial profit, without having to deal with the shipping. You will not need to store the product. Basically, you are acting like a broker or a middle man. You can do this by opening a Shopify store and then linking it with Oberlo. Oberlo is an app that integrates with Shopify, and it is what a lot of people use to source for stuff that they would like to sell on their stores.
Tumblr media
The basic principle of drop shipping is, you create a store or any channel where people can buy stuff from you. Then once they buy something from you, you will pay the manufacturer, usually for a lot less than what you got it for, and then you have the manufacturer ship it to the customer. All without you ever seeing or touching the product. The best part of drop shipping is that you set your own price of the product you want to sell. With the Money you got from the buyer you pay the manufacturer, and the rest is your profit. That is drop shipping simple and easy. If you are interested in drop shipping, there are a lot of tutorials online on YouTube that is free. You can also hop over to UDEMY and look for free courses Those tutorials will show you a step by step guide on creating your store, finding products, advertising, finding influencers and finally shipping and getting paid. It is a bit complicated to start, especially in the beginning, but you can make a ton of Money with drop shipping.
9.Rev.com
Is a transcription service that you can generally hire them out if you have a YouTube video or a podcast, you sent it to Rev.com and then they will type out actually every single word within your video or podcast. It actually pays pretty decently. You can get paid anywhere from $29 to $39 per transcribe hour. That is something you have to go into real to figure out exactly how that process works.
Tumblr media
If you click on "about and freelancers", that is what we want to become a freelancer. We are going to listen to different transcription type deals, and we are actually going to type out what's going on in the podcast or sort of YouTube video. There are different rolls available like transcription as captioner, subtitle and translator. Depending on your skills and what you are really good at, you can jump into any of those. There is some test you have to complete to qualify, and you need to be able to type pretty fast. Once you pass this test, you are immediately being able to make Money online. This Is Active income.
Bonus: Affiliate Marketing
My favourite way of Passive Income is Affiliate Marketing.  If you are serious about making money than go into Affiliate Marketing that is my recommendation for anyone who wants to make passive income online long term. There is a simple reason for it... #There is no recruitment of staff involved #No MLM direct selling  #You create and build your passive income in your own time and pace # No inventory needed  #There is no need to invest thousands of dollars up front #It is free to get started  # Free Training  #so much more  I have created my 5 figure business with affiliate marketing. It is not an overnight thing, it is a hands-on business, it requires passion, work, determination and an open mindset.  Find out how I created my business with a passive income stream. What is the best way to make money online? Affiliate Marketing.  Here is a screenshot of my passive income Wealthy Affiliate.

“I want to, you know I do.”Hercules stared hopelessly at the screen.
Aaron pushed gently into his side, trying to offer some comfort. “I know, honey. You can do it.” Hetipped his forehead into Hercules’ shoulder, earning a soft rumble inreturn.
“I don’t think I can. It’s so hard.”Hercules moaned. Aaron felt his light tremble, pressed this closeagainst him.
Aaron leaned over his boyfriend, avoiding the laptop, and gently placed his hand over Hercules’. “Youcan. I’m with you every step of the way, alright? It’s going to turnout great, and even if it doesn’t, I’ll still be there.” He nearlybreathed a sigh of relief at Hercules’ soft smile. “Besides, yousaid I make a great model. It would be a shame not to show the world, right?”
Hercules laughed. The sound wasbeautiful, and Aaron felt himself relax more. They both relaxed, butthey weren’t done. With his hand on Hercules’- and Hercules’ hand onthe mouse- Aaron slowly pressed down. The left mouse button made atiny click, deafening in the silence of the room.
“It’s… uploaded.” Herculesbreathed, and then breathed again, deeper and calming. “My firstclothing item, on my first online store.” He was pale, andsweating; but he was also smiling.
Aaron leaned up and gently tapped theirnoses together. “I’m proud of you, sweetheart.” Hercules blushed. It was a pet name Aaron saved for special occasions, preciselybecause it got the reaction that it did. He tilted his head andleaned up just a bit more for a kiss.
-
“Oh my god, I’ve got my first sale!”Hercules squealed, in a pitch almost too high for Aaron to hear. Heheld the phone away from his ear for a moment. “It’s the hat withthe butterflies!”
“That’s amazing!” Aaron could feelhimself light up. The whole work day had been a mess, but a bad daywas nothing compared to hearing Hercules so happy. “When was itsold?”
“Ten minutes ago! I can’t wait to getoff shift and ship it! And I should work on another, what if the restsell? Oh my god, it’s only been two days since it launched!”
Aaron could not and would not preventthe deep belly laugh working it’s way out. “Dear, honey, one thingat a time!” The stress and anxiety of the past few days werecompletely gone. The big “what if no one buys anything at all”was answered. Hercules was selling- actually selling his work. “I’mvery proud of you though, you know that?”
From the other side of the phone,Hercules scoffed; but even through the separation, Aaron could feelhis pleased smile. “I don’t even know what they’re going to thinkof it. I’m just way too excited.”
“You’re allowed to be excited.”Aaron tried to push as much of the fondness he felt into his voice.
Hercules hummed, and didn’t sayanything for a moment. “Yeah, uh, well, I should be getting back towork, and I know it’s not your lunch break right now.” Anotherpause. “But thanks. I know you know this, but I couldn’t have soldit without your help. Your support means a lot.”
Aaron’s heart skipped. He’d never getused to Hercules’ sheer honesty, or the way he always tried to makeit clear just how much he appreciated emotional support. And speakingof, “If you want, we can celebrate when I’m off work.”
“Yeah,” Hercules’ voice wassuddenly weak. “We can do that, yeah. I’ll see you after work, them.” He hung up quickly. Aaron did not bother hiding his smirk ashe slid the phone away and turned back to his laptop.
“What the fuck, Burr.” Thomas waspeering over, paused in the middle of walking to another office, papers clutched in hand. “Since when do you have a life outsidework?”
Aaron laughed, mood too good to be evenslightly annoyed by the comment. “None of your business, Thomas.”
Thomas shot an even stranger look, brows furrowed almost comically. Aaron ignored him and got back towork.
-
“Hey, how’s that store thing going, anyways?” Alexander sloshed his drink as he dropped into the booth.Aaron scooted back to allow him room.
Hercules laughed. “It’s been goinggreat, man! Only a month and I’ve already sold a bunch of scarves, and a couple hats. For once, it’s actually great that work’s cut myhours so badly.”
Laurens made a long, pained noise.“Don’t give me flashbacks about fast food shift work. I’m so gladI’m out of that hellhole of a system.” He took a long pointed swigof his drink.
“The cafe’s treated me well, for themost part,” Hercules shrugged. “It always smells nice and theonly people who go there are people who expect to wait for theirlattés.”
“Just make sure you never work atWendy’s.” Lauren’s said, puttng a finger gun to his own head.
“Come on, less work talk, moredrink!” Lafayette placed another tray of drinks on the table, wiggling into the other end of the booth. This brought a round ofcheers, Hercules whooping especially loud. Aaron snuggled intoHercules’ arm contentedly, reaching for a glass. What was once anintimidating excess of volume was now life and liveliness andcomfort. Hercules brought his glass to Aaron’s, and he obliged, clinking them together just because he knew Hercules would giggle atit.
“Oh, and speaking of the store, Ithink I had an email notification, sometime on the way over.”Hercules rooted for his phone, careful not to jab Aaron, pressedagainst him.
“A new sale?” Aaron peeked at thephone, but it was tilted just slightly too far to read.
Hercules shook his head. “No, I madethose go through another filter. This one’s a review.” His tone wasexcited, a silly smile working its way up his face. The review systemhad so far been a godsend for Hercules’ confidence. Aaron was justglad that people were finally beginning to recognize Hercules’talents.
“So? What’s it say?” Aaron grinnedup at his boyfriend. Hercules didn’t respond, suddenly hesitating. His brows crept down and together, lips turning slowly to a frown.Aaron’s grin slipped. “Dear?” Hercules’ phone hand dropped, slipping the phone away.
“It’s just-” Hercules’ voicehitched. He jumped as if not expecting it. Hercules started blinkingrapidly. “I’m okay, it’s-” He cut himself off again.
“Herc, what’s wrong?” Alexandersmirked. “Get a bad review?” He teased. The smirk melted awaywhen Hercules suddenly burst into tears. “Wait, what the fuck?”
“Alex, shut up!” Aaron hissed. “Getout! He needs space!” From the other side of Hercules, Aaron triedto shoe Alexander off.
“What’s wrong with Hercules?”Lafayette asked, slipping into something almost as bewildered asconcerned. Hercules started shaking. Aaron could hear himhyperventilating.
“He’s having a fucking panic attack!”Aaron snapped, “Stop gawking and get some water! And stop everyonefrom staring!”
Lafayette stumbled off, but he wasn’tAaron’s concern right now. “Hey, sweetheart, it’s okay.” Aaronwhispered, his words not meant for the others. “Can you take bigbreaths?”
Hercules tipped his head so that hisface wasn’t visible, but nodded. “Do you want me to hold yourhand?” Aaron ventured. Another nod. Quickly, Aaron clasped them, together in both of his. God, Aaron hoped he was doing this right. He’d only seen Hercules in a panic attack twice before, and he wasdetermined to be useful.
“No one’s looking, okay sweetheart? Isent them away.” Aaron tried to assure, remembering the adviceHercules gave once, of what he personally needed during an attack.Sure enough, Laurens and Lafayette and Alexander were all out of thebooth, creating something of a human shield. A glass of water hadbeen slid towards them.
“Are you good with breathing? Do youwant help?” Aaron squeezed his hands. Hercules tipped his head upslightly. His eyes were puffy.
“I’m- I’m good.” Hercules pushedout, voice shaking as much as he was. “Can I… h-hug you?”
Aaron answered by climbing intoHercules’ lap and stretching his arms over and around Hercules’ broadshoulders. They stayed like that for a few minutes. Aaron felt hisboyfriend’s heart rate slowly go down.
Hercules eventually spoke again.“Sorry,” He started. “It was just a bad review. I shouldn’thave freaked out like that.”
Slowly, carefully, Aaron peckedHercules on the cheek. “Don’t be sorry, sweetheart. Panic attacksare nothing to be ashamed of. They happen.”
Hercules seemed to melt into theembrace. “I know. I thought I was ready for this, though. Of courseI knew this was going to happen eventually.”
Aaron smiled. “You were ready for it,though. It happened, and now you’re feeling a bit more okay, right?”
“I… guess I am.” Herculesreturned the smile.
A sharp cough interrupted them. “Uh,sorry for that,” Alexander scratched his head, sheepish. “Ididn’t realize you had anxiety.” To his credit, Alexander did lookappropriately guilty, eyes averted.
“It’s fine.” Hercules said, alwaysquick to forgive. “You’ve all never seen it, and I’ve never saidit. The whole anxiety… thing,” Aaron leaned into Hercules neckand smiled. Hercules may step around the word, but he’d gotten so farsince being unable to come to terms with Anxiety. “ It’s the reasonI’ve never tried selling my stuff before. But now I’ve got Aaron tohelp me out.”
Aaron yelped as Hercules’ fist camedown on his head in a gentle noogie. “Oh my god! Honey, what thefuck.” He shot a reproachful stare. Hercules burst into laughter.Even with puffy, red rimmed eyes, it was a beautiful sight.“Sweetheart, why?” Aaron whined into Hercules’ ear. He flushed.
Aaron loved his boyfriend.

She may be the highest-paid actress in the world, but Jennifer Lawrence has had a tough year: an emergency landing, a romantic breakup, and her (reluctant) first nude scene, for this month’s Red Sparrow. It all has her looking to the next phase in her career—and life.
It is nearing dinnertime as I wind through the streets of Beverly Hills, passing the storied haunts Craig’s and Tower Bar on my way to the home of Jennifer Lawrence. She has offered to host, and who would turn down an invitation to hang out with this supernova? At 27, she is the highest-paid actress in the world and the youngest person to have earned four Oscar nominations (she won best actress for her work in Silver Linings Playbook) and three Golden Globe awards. Her potent combination of talent, beauty, charm, and chutzpah makes her seem like a throwback to an earlier era. And her authenticity is a refreshing, much-needed antidote for a world drowning in a digital sea of meticulously curated social-media accounts, photo filters, and sponsored tweets.
Yet, for all her successes—in addition to her critical accolades and awards she has starred in a pair of multi-billion-dollar franchises, The Hunger Games and X-Men—she is at a defining juncture, when youth fades and adulthood begins, a transition that has stymied many promising acting careers. Lawrence, however, is the rare prodigy whose next chapter could be more interesting than the first. Lawrence is imbued with insatiable curiosity, professionalism, a work ethic, and extraordinary natural talent. She may be the last true movie star to emerge from Hollywood before the industry stopped making them.

So, what does maturity look like for the world’s most famous ingénue? Let’s start by having her cook me dinner—roast chicken, to be exact. (I supplied the alcohol—wine and vodka, as I wasn’t sure what the menu or mood would be.) “I’ve done this a few times, but I’m not superconfident,” says Lawrence, casually attired, without a trace of makeup, in her kitchen. “I have ramen, so either way we’re fine,” she says, only half joking.
While the chicken is in the oven, Lawrence makes us martinis (my drink of choice) in the style that Michael Fassbender, one of her X-Men co-stars, taught her—a drop of vermouth swished in the glass, then tossed out before the vodka goes in. The French-style house is her first major purchase, made back in 2014, a perfectly appointed, comfortable environment and exactly what you would expect from this gal from Kentucky: vintage mixed with modern. A gorgeous custom curved long sofa in the den, we both agree, is what she should try to salvage first if a California fire were headed her way.
Lawrence admits that her style is ever evolving and that she is in the process of redecorating. “My bedroom looks like Vegas meets . . .” Her voice trails off. “Well, you never want to decorate anything before you’re 25.” A portrait of her dog and constant companion, Pippi, commissioned by her mother, hangs in the gym, which is well equipped but doesn’t run the risk of overuse from this openly disgruntled exerciser. As she takes me on a tour of the lush grounds outside, she admits having been in the pool only once, on her birthday—the downside of a career lived on the road.
This month Lawrence stars as Russian prima ballerina turned Soviet operative Dominika Egorova in Red Sparrow, a spy thriller based on the best-selling novel by former C.I.A. agent Jason Matthews. After an injury ends her dance career, Lawrence’s character is recruited by the government to join an elite squad of officers who use psychological—and sexual—warfare to extract secrets from state enemies.
About seven years ago, when Lawrence co-starred in Jodie Foster’s filmThe Beaver, the director told her that one day she would look back on her film roles and see a pattern. It was Lawrence’s good friend Laura (more on her later) who identified the archetype even before Lawrence did, noting that the actress tended to play “white trash with too much responsibility.” Sure enough, in her early films, including Winter’s Bone and the Hunger Games quartet, Lawrence embodied what she calls “the young-adult maternal figure.”
During a shoot at this 24-acre biodynamic farm, Lawrence modeled the latest in ranch dressing.

The character of Dominika presented Lawrence with an opportunity to break from her past in more ways than one. “Red Sparrow really scared the hell out of me because I get nude,” says Lawrence, who first balked at the idea. “I tried to do the movie without nudity but realized it just wouldn’t be right to put the character through something that I, myself, am not willing to go through.”
Lawrence, who had personal photos stolen and uploaded to the Internet in a hack, in 2014, said that she was wary of potential criticism over her artistic choice. “My biggest fear was that people would say, ‘Oh, how can you complain about the hack if you’re going to get nude anyway?,’ ” Lawrence says, referencing the stolen photos, which were meant for her then boyfriend, Nicholas Hoult. (The man responsible for the hack was prosecuted and sentenced to 18 months in prison; Lawrence’s stolen pictures will live forever on the Internet.)
But the actress draws a big distinction between the involuntary release of her photos and her decision to shed her clothes on-screen. “One is my choice.” That choice ultimately proved to be empowering. “I got something back that was taken from me, and it also felt normal,” she says.
It helps that the director of these potentially uncomfortable scenes was Francis Lawrence (no relation), who has worked with Lawrence since she was 22 and started making the second film in the Hunger Games quartet. Though she was particularly nervous about filming a violent shower-room fight scene, she says Francis immediately put her at ease. “He looked me right in the eyes like I had clothes on and then all of a sudden I was like, ‘Oh, O.K., it’s just like I have clothes on.’ Everybody here is professional. You’re still at work. One look just made me comfortable. It didn’t make me feel naked.”
Francis wasn’t the only person on the Red Sparrow set to watch Jennifer grow up—many on the production team were also Hunger Games alumni. “They all knew me since I was a baby,” says Lawrence. After wrapping the nude scenes she teased the camera team: “I hope you guys feel creepy.” (For all her dramatic accolades, comedic timing may be Lawrence’s true gift.) The director says he always had Jennifer in mind for the part. “First and foremost, she’s a terrific actress,” he says. “What excited me the most was just how different it would be for her—the way she looks and the way she behaves and the way she sounds . . . that was really, really exciting to me.”
“I get my happiness from my friends and my house,” Lawrence says.
“She is one of the most intuitive people that I know,” adds Francis. (Lawrence’s Red Sparrow co-stars include Joel Edgerton and acting icons Charlotte Rampling and Jeremy Irons.) “She’s kind of a savant when it comes to human behavior. When she’s acting in a scene, it’s not something that’s been rehearsed or practiced—it’s really fun to watch, and it’s pretty magical.”
The director also sees an authenticity in the offscreen Jennifer Lawrence. “I think a lot of people think the behavior portrayed in articles and interviews—when she falls and all that kind of stuff—has been fabricated by her. It’s really not. She really is who she is and who she presents herself to be. There’s sort of a blunt quality. She doesn’t really hold back in terms of beliefs and being goofy and she just says what she’s thinking.”
Another thing that isn’t fabricated: Lawrence’s oft reported resistance to dieting and working out. To accommodate his star, Francis arranged to shoot the ballet scenes in Red Sparrow first, so that she would be in her best shape. (The movie was shot in parts of Austria, Hungary, Slovakia, and the U.K.) He adds, “She really trained a tremendous amount. She worked with a ballet coach for three months and did a lot of exercise.”
For Lawrence, the issue of body image and weight is a particularly sensitive one. Last fall, as the Hollywood sexual-assault reckoning gained momentum, Lawrence revealed in painstaking detail an incident in which she was asked, early in her career, to stand nude in a lineup of other actresses in front of a producer who judged her body and pressured her to lose weight. “I’ve always wondered what it would take to get me to really diet, to really be hungry, because I’ve never done it for a movie. For Hunger Games, they told me to lose weight, and then I discovered Jack in the Box. Red Sparrow was the first time that I was really hungry, and disciplined. I can’t be in character as an ex-ballerina and not feel like an ex-ballerina.”
Jen’s next act? The 27-year-old can see herself as a television executive.

Though she tried to maintain that dancer’s level of control, once she was done with the ballet sequences, all bets were off. “I can’t work on a diet. I’m hungry. I’m standing on my feet. I need more energy. I remember having a meltdown, freaking out that I had eaten five banana chips.”
Nourishment came in a European form of street food. “I discovered this Viennese kielbasa sausage in an uncircumcised French-bread roll, with pickle relish,” she says. “I had that almost every day in Budapest—which you can see, because I continue to grow in the movie,” she says, laughing. “Dieting is just not in the cards for me.”
Back in Lawrence’s kitchen, she plates a delicious meal: perfectly tender chicken with onions, potatoes, and green beans. And then we sit in the kitchen and talk about what almost everyone else is talking about around the table. “I’ve always thought that it was a good idea to stay out of politics,” says Lawrence. “Twenty-five percent of America identifies as liberal and I need more than 25 percent of America to go see my movies. It’s not wise, career-speaking, to talk about politics. When Donald Trump got sworn into office, that fucking changed.”
She’s joined the board of Represent.Us, a bipartisan grassroots organization that aims to root corruption out of politics. Fellow board members include directors Adam McKay and David O. Russell, who directed Lawrence in Silver Linings Playbook, Joy, and American Hustle, and the advisory board boasts a number of activists from all political stripes, including Democratic, Republican, and Tea Party leaders.
Now that she’s politically woke, Lawrence isn’t holding back her opinions. “It did steamroll, thanks to my personality,” she admits. “If I’m thinking something, I’ve made it very clear I’m going to talk about it. My family obviously hates every time I talk about politics because it’s hard to see your kid get criticized and they live in Kentucky, where nobody is really liking what I’m saying.” (Kentucky, where polls closed at six P.M., was one of the first states Trump won in 2016.)
Although Lawrence divides her time between New York City and Los Angeles, her southern upbringing gives her a different perspective. She maintains close ties to her hometown of Louisville (her parents still own a house there, and each Christmas she visits children at the city’s Norton Children’s Hospital), and she understands viscerally the reasons why Donald Trump’s candidacy resonated with many Americans. Here’s “a big powerful man in a nice suit, pointing at you and going, ‘I’m going to make you rich.’ It’s so appealing,” she says. “The Democrats made a huge mistake by chastising the Trump supporters, and that was disgusting to me. Of course they’re not going to vote for Hillary Clinton; they’re going to vote for Donald Trump. You laughed at them when their plight is very real.”
But she scoffs at the criticism of Hillary Clinton as a “career politician.” “I’m like, ‘I want a career politician!’ I wouldn’t hire an assistant if they didn’t have experience; we’re talking about the president of the fucking United States!”

Two thousand seventeen was a fitful year for Lawrence. It started with negative reviews for Passengers, her outer-space movie co-starring Chris Pratt. The film wasn’t a financial flop—it made $300 million worldwide—but Lawrence, who garnered a career-high $20 million payday, couldn’t distract from the movie’s troubled plotline.
In June a private plane she was flying on, from Kentucky to New York, at 31,000 feet suffered double engine failure and was forced to make an emergency landing. (No one was injured.) Over dinner Lawrence told me the terrifying experience sent her into therapy for the first time to combat the post-traumatic stress she was dealing with. And every time she got on a plane in the aftermath, to soothe her nerves she watched Disney movies on rotation. “Thank you, Emma Watson, for Beauty and the Beast,” she says. “I’ve seen it six or seven times. If anybody has any questions about it, come to me.”
She also ended her relationship with director Darren Aronofsky. The two met making the allegorical Mother!, a controversial film that critics loved—Lawrence won praise for her performance as a young tortured wife and mother—but one that audiences rejected as too complicated. “I thought it was genius, a masterpiece, and . . . a cry for Mother Earth seemed right and cool. He was the perfect filmmaker to do it with.”
Although they are no longer romantically linked, they are still friends. Lawrence prides herself on healthy relationships—and healthy breakups. “We have an amazing friendship that started before the movie, then we had a partnership with the movie, and then we had a romance that came from the movie, so when you strip the romance away, we still have immense respect for each other,” she says. “As cliché as it sounds, we were good to each other. I read stuff all the time that I think would be perfect for Darren. And I think we’ll work together again.”
Lawrence has strong friendships—fellow actresses Emma Stone, Brie Larson, and Amy Schumer, to name a few, as well as a very tight group outside the industry she has known for more than 10 years. “When I was doing X-Men—that was right when Hunger Games was starting to come out—everyone just starts looking at you like you have something on your face, and the whole world starts reacting to you differently,” she remembers. “If I was not living with a best friend at the time, I don’t know what would have happened, because every day I came home, and it was the exact same: we’d talk about boy drama, and we’d talk about her [life].”
“She is one of the most intuitive people that I know,” says director Francis Lawrence.
One member of that group, Laura, whom she had met when she was 17, was with her when Vanity Fair photographed Lawrence in December. I saw something on that shoot I have never seen in 20 years of living in Hollywood. Upon arriving, Lawrence’s dog, Pippi, defecated on the property almost immediately after getting out of the S.U.V. Laura, who was helping Lawrence that day, reached in her purse, pulled out a plastic bag, and then did the unthinkable. She handed the bag to Lawrence, who proceeded to pick up her dog’s poop.
Hollywood is home to an egomaniacal industry where movie stars tend to be enabled and coddled, and at a certain point actors begin to surround themselves with sycophants and paid pals. I have watched Lawrence grow up in this community, and it gave me such a sense of pride that the world’s biggest movie star is still humble enough to pick up her own dog shit.
Lawrence provided some of her own insight: “Being an actor, you become a professional at talking about yourself,” she says. “And it’s not even our fault—we do it for months and months and months at a time. But I have my girlfriends and I’m genuinely interested in their lives.”
When Mother! was doing poorly, Lawrence initially was disappointed by the public’s indifference to the film. She remembers thinking, “ ‘Did you guys not get it? I gave my body, Darren gave his fucking heart, he bled for that script, and you don’t get it.’ It’s a little sad. And I remember letting it be sad for a couple of days, and then I was like, ‘You know what? This is not where I get my happiness from. I get my happiness from my friends and my house—they’ve brought me so much sanity.’ ”

Working steadily since the age of 16, Lawrence uncharacteristically has some time on her hands. She is signed on to star in a film with Italian director Luca Guadagnino (Call Me by Your Name), but with the script still being written, there is plenty of time for Lawrence to explore other opportunities.
After our dinner we leave the dishes in the sink and head to her living room, where there are two stockings hanging from the mantel—one for her, and a miniature one for Pippi—and a Christmas tree. I ask about future projects. Lawrence has made no secret of her love for television—especially reality programming. She’s become unlikely friends with Kardashian matriarch and “momager” Kris Jenner, who posted on Instagram a picture of a mini toy Porsche she received from Lawrence. In November, Lawrence gave interviewers everywhere a run for their money when she grilled Kim Kardashian West as part of a guest-host stint on Jimmy Kimmel Live.(Sample questions: “Have you ever been cheated on?” And “Do you think it’s a coincidence that [ex-boyfriend] Reggie Bush’s wife looks just like you?”)
Over glasses of red wine I ask Lawrence, “If you could make your own reality show, what would it be?”
“I’m happy you asked,” she says, a Cheshire-cat grin crossing her face, “because I have actually been toying with the idea of becoming a billionaire and I’d like to start my own TV network.” Because of her viewing habits—heavy on Real Housewives, all things Kardashian—she declares, “I am pretty much a television professional at this point. And I have a brilliant idea for a reality show called Breakup Island.”
She goes on: “I can’t tell you the details, but there are very distinct cast members like The Bachelor, between the ages of 20 and 50, who you stay with and care about.”
Lawrence has obviously given this a lot of thought, but she plays coy. “That’s all I’m willing to disclose about Breakup Island because I really think it’s going to happen,” she says. “My agent was laughing at me when I told him. But I am clearly obsessed.”
Lawrence leans back on the fainting couch, her face lit perfectly by the natural firelight. She takes another sip of her wine, and after a beat, with the confidence of a mogul, she says, “Seems like a natural next step.”

Let’s not forget that the 2030 agenda was developed decades ago for the purpose of engineering society so that it could be controlled from the top down.
No ownership. No privacy. No power of the people. Centralized, top-down control of every aspect of our lives. That is Agenda 2030.    … P. D.
For more information watch the What If: Privacy Becomes a Luxury Good? session from the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting 2017.
Welcome to the year 2030. Welcome to my city – or should I say, “our city”. I don’t own anything. I don’t own a car. I don’t own a house. I don’t own any appliances or any clothes.
It might seem odd to you, but it makes perfect sense for us in this city. Everything you considered a product, has now become a service. We have access to transportation, accommodation, food and all the things we need in our daily lives. One by one all these things became free, so it ended up not making sense for us to own much.
First communication became digitized and free to everyone. Then, when clean energy became free, things started to move quickly. Transportation dropped dramatically in price. It made no sense for us to own cars anymore, because we could call a driverless vehicle or a flying car for longer journeys within minutes. We started transporting ourselves in a much more organized and coordinated way when public transport became easier, quicker and more convenient than the car. Now I can hardly believe that we accepted congestion and traffic jams, not to mention the air pollution from combustion engines. What were we thinking?
Tumblr media
Sometimes I use my bike when I go to see some of my friends. I enjoy the exercise and the ride. It kind of gets the soul to come along on the journey. Funny how some things seem never seem to lose their excitement: walking, biking, cooking, drawing and growing plants. It makes perfect sense and reminds us of how our culture emerged out of a close relationship with nature.
“Environmental problems seem far away”
In our city we don’t pay any rent, because someone else is using our free space whenever we do not need it. My living room is used for business meetings when I am not there.
Once in awhile, I will choose to cook for myself. It is easy – the necessary kitchen equipment is delivered at my door within minutes. Since transport became free, we stopped having all those things stuffed into our home. Why keep a pasta-maker and a crepe cooker crammed into our cupboards? We can just order them when we need them.
Have you read?
What will we eat in 2030?
What will we eat in 2030?
This also made the breakthrough of the circular economy easier. When products are turned into services, no one has an interest in things with a short life span. Everything is designed for durability, repairability and recyclability. The materials are flowing more quickly in our economy and can be transformed to new products pretty easily. Environmental problems seem far away, since we only use clean energy and clean production methods. The air is clean, the water is clean and nobody would dare to touch the protected areas of nature because they constitute such value to our well being. In the cities we have plenty of green space and plants and trees all over. I still do not understand why in the past we filled all free spots in the city with concrete.
The death of shopping
Shopping? I can’t really remember what that is. For most of us, it has been turned into choosing things to use. Sometimes I find this fun, and sometimes I just want the algorithm to do it for me. It knows my taste better than I do by now.
When AI and robots took over so much of our work, we suddenly had time to eat well, sleep well and spend time with other people. The concept of rush hour makes no sense anymore, since the work that we do can be done at any time. I don’t really know if I would call it work anymore. It is more like thinking-time, creation-time and development-time.
For a while, everything was turned into entertainment and people did not want to bother themselves with difficult issues. It was only at the last minute that we found out how to use all these new technologies for better purposes than just killing time.
“They live different kinds of lives outside of the city”
My biggest concern is all the people who do not live in our city. Those we lost on the way. Those who decided that it became too much, all this technology. Those who felt obsolete and useless when robots and AI took over big parts of our jobs. Those who got upset with the political system and turned against it. They live different kind of lives outside of the city. Some have formed little self-supplying communities. Others just stayed in the empty and abandoned houses in small 19th century villages.
Once in awhile I get annoyed about the fact that I have no real privacy. No where I can go and not be registered. I know that, somewhere, everything I do, think and dream of is recorded. I just hope that nobody will use it against me.
All in all, it is a good life. Much better than the path we were on, where it became so clear that we could not continue with the same model of growth. We had all these terrible things happening: lifestyle diseases, climate change, the refugee crisis, environmental degradation, completely congested cities, water pollution, air pollution, social unrest and unemployment. We lost way too many people before we realised that we could do things differently.
Author’s note: Some people have read this blog as my utopia or dream of the future. It is not. It is a scenario showing where we could be heading – for better and for worse. I wrote this piece to start a discussion about some of the pros and cons of the current technological development. When we are dealing with the future, it is not enough to work with reports. We should start discussions in many new ways. This is the intention with this piece.

The more views you are getting, the more Money you can expect to make, and also you get more subscribers. With YouTube, what you are earning is passive Income, make a few videos, and they should keep making you Money consistently. You can also make Money through Affiliates, but we will get to that later.

Rover is the largest network of 5 -star pet sitters and dog walkers. Do you like pets? ( https://mypetshopworld.com) Dogs in particular, if so then you should check that out. Rover is a dog sitting service, but this is currently only available in the USA and Canada.
Tumblr media
